This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is located in Gilford NH, just minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee and Gunstock Mountain! The screened porch out back is perfect in Spring, Summer, and Fall to enjoy a meal, read a book, or take a nap.
The house is also a short drive from Mount Major and many other lakes region attractions, making it perfect for all seasons. Hike Mount Major for a beautiful view of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Winter has skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing and tubing at Gunstock Mountain. Night skiing available.
The fall has beautiful foliage in the backyard and surrounding area.
Summer a short drive to Ellacoya State Park with paid admission, Weirs Beach, Funspot, Tiki Boat rides, mini golf, ropes courses. Gunstock has summer adventures with ropes, adventure, mountain coaster, hiking and biking.
Newly renovated bathrooms and Kitchen. Large dining room with seating for eight as well as kitchen seating for four. The large family room with a foosball table and 65” TV also has a work bar with USB ports for working or doing homework.
No smoking or pets allowed.

Excellent stay!

This place is beautiful and just as advertised. We stayed 6 nights and did so many things. There are games and a gorgeous porch for rainy days. Close to everything, including Boston for a day trip. We will stay again and for longer.

What a wonderful property! Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the host was very responsive. The back porch was spacious and welcoming... from listening to birds in the morning to playing cards at night was a treat. We would definitely stay here again.

July 4th Week

My group had an awesome time, the house could not have been better! The porch and grill areas are amazing, the beds were all comfortable and the living room has a great couch. Also close to the grocery store and a few different beaches!

Perfect stay during bike week

Gorgeous property. Close to everything but far enough for quiet and relaxing. The back porch was perfect for hanging out, eating, and keeping the bugs out.

Beautiful house in the perfect location!

So many great things to say about the owners and the house. Marlene was so sweet and accommodating. She allowed for early check-in and provided so much information on things to do with the family while there. And all activities were easy to get to and not far at all. The house was stocked well with items typically not provided in rentals. They even left a bag of ice to use for a cooler. The back screened porch was a family fave hang out area, especially on rainy days. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Convenient Location

Property was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked. The owner responds quickly to questions. The location is quiet and convenient to area attractions.

Fantastic place !

Great place to stay and will stay again I'm sure. Loved the place , we loved the screened in deck, coffee in the morning or playing cards with the kids it was awesome. great place and highly recommend it.

Magical lake cabin

We loved our experience at this property! Great for a family looking for a lake vacation or friends going to a concert at the nearby venue. We loved sitting out on the back sun porch amongst the trees. The owner was very responsive to all my questions and was so kind to go above and beyond with local recommendations and information. We would absolutely return here!

Beautiful and Cozy

It was a perfect spot for the lakes region. We felt at home and I was mostly impressed by the bag of ice already in the freezer thank you we will stay again if in the area!

Perfect place!

We had the best experience with Marlene! The house was clean, easy to get to and very accommodating. House looks just as pictured. Communication was prompt, Marlene always responded fast and was helpful getting information about the area. We went for bike week and the house was close enough to everything but just far enough away where we could also get some quiet time to relax. Will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful home with lots of emmenties. The Back Porth was very spacious and accommodated our guests. I would definitely book another stay here.

Clean and Charming Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Back Porch" home in Gilford! The home was charming, spacious, sparkling clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the foosball table, soft bedding, and watching movies from the comfortable recliners in the family room. My husband and I enjoyed the short, 6-minute drive to Gunstock Ski Resort (easy when our 6-year-old was tired and wanted to go home, but our 10-year-old wanted to continue snowboarding!) and the beautiful, peaceful views from the family room, kitchen, and back porch. We highly recommend this home as a vacation rental! Thank you for a comfortable and fun visit!!

Gilford vrbo

The owners were excellent, they made sure everything was perfect for our pond hockey tournament. The house was very clean and well kept up with. It is in a great location close to the mountains for skiing and lakes for summer and winter fun.
