Welcome to Paradise! No car is needed. The view from the private terrace is stunning. Located on the ground floor directly in front of the pool. No elevators or stairs to deal with. Just step off the terrace and enjoy!

Stepping through the front door, you will be astonished by the panorama of impossibly blue turquoise waters that can be viewed through the sliding glass doors that lead to your private terrace. Step off the terrace and you are at the beautiful tri-level heated pool and beach area. You will definitely enjoy the direct access to the pool, beach and ocean that this condo offers.

Built with luxury in mind, features include granite countertops, beautiful Mexican tile, three-zone air conditioning, and FREE Dish Network satellite TV. Water is purified throughout the condo with UV and reverse osmosis technology. FREE calls to the U.S. and Canada included. (Incoming calls to the condo from the U.S. charged U.S. long distance rates to the calling party in the States.) FREE wireless D.S.L. - computer provided.

If this were a hotel, this would be the prime room location - poolside, beachside and oceanside - it's all right there! All the dive operators on the Island pick-up and deliver right to your dock and then it's only a short walk to the rinse tanks.

-We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.

beautiful modern condo

This place is almost perfect. Only reason I can't give it a 5 star is because of the noise. You can hear all the street noise from 2nd bedroom. You can hear the doormen/security clearly talking. There's also some renovations on one of the units above us or next to us. You hear jack hammers and hammering every day usually starting around 9 a.m. Other than the noise this place was amazing. Walking distance to almost anyplace we wanted to go. We would stay here again.

Relaxing stay on the ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed out week-long stay at the El Cantil. The condo unit was clean, modern and beautifully appointed with some of the best artwork we’ve ever encountered in a vacation rental. The highlight of the El Cantil is of course the beautiful ocean views especially while floating in the infinity pool or relaxing in the sand under one of the many palapas. Our only knock, which is not the owner's fault, was that several people staying in the complex smoked despite there being a few signs indicating that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the complex, inside our outside. This policy was not enforced by the multitude of staff walking the grounds. The postings of this policy needs to be made more prominent all around the complex including inside the units and the private decks.

Nicely updated condo

Nicely updated modern 2b/2b. Great access to the pool, and grocery store across the street. Have stayed at El Cantil many times and this one was great as well. The only issue was a grouchy neighbor who complained about music at the pool. Yet there were some large groups later that were much more rowdy than the music. She just sat on her balcony and smoked. That is the only slightly negative thing but not the property owners issue.

El Cantil Condo

We had an amazing week. I truly enjoyed the beautiful condo. It was decorated very well and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the location is amazing. The pool in the back was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our dive shop, Aldora, picked us up right at the dock, and the diving was incredible. I highly recommend this condo.

Great place to spend a few days in Cozumel

Ours was a quick (4-day) trip to Cozumel and El Cantil was a perfect spot because we could walk into town, but it was also an easy to drive to different beaches and beach clubs. We really enjoyed the property. It was clean, kitchen was stocked, bathrooms were lovely and beds were comfortable. Only complaint was some noise from the street and hallway traffic in the front bedroom. It was really nice to have the pool and ocean right outside our patio and we thoroughly enjoyed the sunset, as well as coffee on the patio in the AM. Teenagers would've liked a "livelier" spot, but for parents, we thought it was perfect! Thanks for having us!

Comfort in a Great Location!

El Cantil is a great property in a wonderfully convenient location adjacent to the shops and restaurants of Cozumel - but at the water's edge with terrific views and a good pool area. This particular unit has the advantage of being on the ground floor with great direct access to the pool area through a convenient waist-high gate in the unit's own outdoor balcony. (If a view is more important to you than convenience you might prefer a higher floor, but we found this to be wonderfully handy.) Well equipped (particularly the kitchen), comfy beds and a nice dining area. Smaller than many El Cantil units, but we found it to be perfect for 3 friends. The decor is pretty hip & trendy (with much emphasis on jazzy lighting), but it all works fine for a very pleasant vacation.

Beautiful property!

We loved everything about our condo and the condo property and pool area. It was convenient to downtown, restaurants, grocery stores and bars. The condo had everything we needed, immediate response to a question we had, and the newly remodeled bathrooms were beautiful. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Very nice condo

Clean, modern, right in front of the pool, nice TV, nice bedrooms and unlimited purified water on tap. Very, very nice. The electrical lighting system is quite unique, and it took several visits from the handyman to get it to change colors and brighten...the owner may wish to simplify this at some point. Also the entry code lock was broken and we had to share a single key. Otherwise NICE!!!

Mexico Vacation

Property and unit are very nice. Location was great on the south side of town . Easy acess to grocery stores and restaurants and a short cab ride to beach clubs on south side of island. Here are the need improvements: 1) Sewage smell coming from master bathroom at certain parts of day. The sink drains were closed when we arrived and we learned to keep them closed when not in use. The closed drains helped, but did not eliminate problem. 2) Garbage disposal did not work. Management did not respond to request to fix this issue. After 3 days, I reset the disposal myself and it worked fine for the remainder of our stay. 3) The instructions in the unit to operate the safe are not accurate. Management did respond to this issue in a timely manner and provided good instructions and the safe worked fine the the remaider of our stay. This is any easy fix, just put the correct instructions in the unit on the safe.

This condo was recently remodeled under new ownership. They done a beautiful job and I thoroughly enjoyed my week there. I’ve rented this place many times over the years and it’s always been perfect for me! So I was glad I could book it again. I love it! Very excellent nice pleasant condo!

Perfect, location, snorkeling, pools and view!

The condo was very well kept. We walked just about everywhere but if you are diving you can take a cab or get picked up at the property by the boat. This ground unit had it all. Easy access to the pools and snorkeling. The main road just steps away from your front door. We would both plan our future trips around the availability of this unit. Can’t wait to come back.

Far more than expected

The place was beautiful, perfect location, so many extras, well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time there and you far exceeded all expectations. Communication was prompt and helpful. We are already planning to come back next year.

We have stated in the unit a couple times before and we love it, we were excited to come back! Only small minor hiccup, no big deal, we had maid service on 1 day only I thought I read we were to get 2 days Traveling from Wednesday to Wednesday, May have messed up the maid schedule Not a big deal at all, needed someone to remove more trash , later in week We also had to request extra bath towels, would prefer to have 4 bath towels in each bath instead of 2 They gave us immediate attention and brought extra towels The security and maid were very friendly and helpful It’s an awesome place and we will be back! Love the convenience of location , ground floor and access to pool and view of ocean Thank you so much!! We will return next year!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our condo was not only right on the water, but we only needed to rent a car for one day during our 4 night stay. The property is very close, within walking distance, to lots of great restaurants, shops, and activities. I drank coffee on the beautiful balcony every morning and hung out in the pool all afternoon. We snorkeled right off the back of the property and saw lots of gorgeous fish and sea life. We would definitely stay here again!!
