Thanks also for your note on some of the outdoor areas of the home. If I had known during your stay that you felt additional landscaping or exterior cleaning was needed, I would have gladly sent a vendor out right away to address it. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear about it at the time, so I wasn’t able to resolve it while you were there. The property is regularly maintained, but with the coastal environment, things like sand, salt air, and wind can sometimes make upkeep an ongoing task. That said, I’ll certainly take another close look to ensure the outdoor spaces remain just as enjoyable as the rest of the home. I’m very glad to know your overall experience was positive, and I’d love the opportunity to host you again in the future!

I always make guest concerns a priority and work quickly to resolve them. As for the other items you mentioned, I do want to clarify that the home is regularly inspected and maintained, and my team works hard to stay on top of wear and tear that naturally happens in a coastal environment. Salt air, heavy winds, and high guest turnover can all impact things like porch screens, sliding doors, and outdoor furniture more quickly than in non-coastal homes. While some of these items may show normal signs of use, they are not reflective of a lack of upkeep. Had I been made aware of these specific concerns during your stay, I would have gladly sent maintenance to make adjustments or provide alternatives so they did not impact your visit. This property is enjoyed by many families each season, and I consistently receive positive feedback about both the home and the care that goes into it. I take pride in being proactive, responsive, and committed to ensuring a comfortable experience for every guest. While I understand your perspective, describing the home as the “worst kept” is not reflective of the majority of guest experiences or of the effort my team and I put into maintaining it. I do sincerely appreciate your input, as it helps me continue to monitor and improve the home, and I am glad you were still able to enjoy your time in Corolla.
