Welcome to EGRET'S RETREAT! Let serene Egret’s Retreat help you find a way to recharge your inner self with its calming lakefront environment! Cheerful colors, comfortable furnishings and a coastal decor give you the laid back beach vibe you will love. The natural light that pours into the rooms gives it an organic energy of it’s own.

Step out with your favorite beverage onto the deck overlooking Lake Arrowhead. You will love watching and listening to this beautiful wildlife sanctuary-whether it be egrets, great herons, or wood storks stalking their next snack or the black swans and ringed-neck ducks floating about…or the turtles creating the only traffic jam you care to see on vacation!

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed with beachy seashell decor. A new renovated gorgeous walk-in shower adds to the master suite. Even if you need to mix a little work with pleasure, there is a quaint writing desk within a nook in the master bedroom with a window view of the beautiful lake. Bring along your fishing pole to land a big bream or bass on the bridges that cross the lake.

The guest bedroom with it’s beautiful seahorse theme has two twin beds along with a another built-in twin bed in the window nook with a convenient attached full bathroom.


Kingston is a favorite vacation destination due to its multi-faceted scenery and perfect location -- central to all that Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach have to offer in the way of tourist attractions, dining, shopping and entertainment! Our condo is just steps away from the community pool; just a little bit more of a walk and you will be beachfront. Participate as much, or as little, with the outside world as you deem fit!

For your convenience beach chairs, umbrella, cart, beach towels, cooler and beach toys are provided for you to enjoy on your vacation.

Please note: Pools, pool decks and water park at the Embassy Suites and Hilton Hotel are available only for renters using the onsite Kingston rental program.

Excellent stay

We absolutely enjoyed our time in Kingston. The owner was very responsive, checking in was a breeze, the condo was clean and everything was as advertised. There were many extras provided by the owner that made it more like home. My family was very happy and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, in a great location; however, the cleanliness was unacceptable. There was urine on the masters toilet, hair left everywhere. The sheets were dingy and the beds were not made right. The comforters definitely aren't washed for the next guest. The property definitely was not cleaned by a professional cleaning company. The host did offer us a refund to leave, however, it would have ruined our trip. One of the owners did come clean 1 bathroom and changed the sheets; however, a cleaning company should have came. Our cleaning fee should have at least been refunded. If the cleaning was up to par, I would have given .5 rs because it was as described .However, cleanliness ater every guest is more thsn important and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Perfect stay

We absolutely loved Egret’s Retreat. We have been coming to Kingston Plantation for over 20 years. My parents used to be homeowners here and we look at it as our home away from home. This particular condo was perfect for us, it checked all the boxes. It was clean, close to the pool and it was a short walk to the beach. The place was decorated very nicely! We loved the extra touches the owners provided as well. Ever since my parents sold in 2020 we have been bouncing around to different condos in KP. Some have been beautifully decorated but too far for us from the beach, some have been close to the beach but not kept up on to our standards. Egret’s Retreat was 10/10 for our family. We would definitely consider booking here again!

Great stay with all the extras

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and couldn't have asked for more! The cleanliness, location, communication with hosts, and added beach gear made our stay even better. We brought our Shibumi and realized once we got to the beach that they were not allowed. We are thankful that the hosts provided umbrellas for us to use along with many other small amenities that were just the right touch.

Beautiful and Clean

My daughter and I stayed for a second time and it is always so clean, it feels brand new. The new walk in shower is beautiful! This is our number one spot to stay when we are in Myrtle Beach. Location cant be beat.

When in Myrtle, Will be Back!

Clean, Crisp, Fresh condo. The reviews don't lie. Great stay at 4 Egret. Family of 4 stayed July 15-22 and we had such a great stay. The amenities that the house provides are top notch. You don't need to hull any beach chairs, sand toys, or beach cart with you. It is all provided and really nice. The kitchen is well equipped and has pretty much all of your needs. The owner is very responsive and answered all of our questions within a day. Short walk to the beach, even shorter walk to the pool. Also they give you a book of restaurant recommendations and we are glad we went to some because they were GREAT! Thank you!

Great Vacation Home

This was our first time staying at this property. It was just as the listing described! Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Extras like toiletries in the bathrooms, stuff for the beach and pool. We didn’t need to bring any extra things for this trip. We were able to navigate easily to the pool and beach. Enjoyed the turtles, swans and ducks while walking on the bridge. So happy we found this beautiful property! If we come back to MB we will be staying here again. My only suggestion is to maybe get a curtain for the master bedroom window. We are used to sleeping in the dark and it was very bright just with the shades drawn in the early morning hours. But other than that it was amazing!

National Dance Competition/ Mini Vaca

We have stayed in many units within Richmond park and Laural Court over the years. However we must say that, by far this is the best unit of them all. Clean, accommodating, spacious, updated unit, bright and airy. The unit is exactly as pictured online. I can go on, on about this unit. My family love the the keyless entry. No stress about keys. Everything you need is in this unit. It truly was a home away from home. We will definitely stay here next year!!! Thanks again, for sharing your home!!!!

Wonderful Stay!

My family and I stayed here while I attended a work conference at the nearby Embassy Suites. The property was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. It is a great location and I would most definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Accomodation

Egret's Retreat was exactly as shown on VRBO. Condo was beautiful - light & airy with beautiful scenary off balcony. We will most definitely be staying here again on our 2 annual trips to Myrtle Beach/Kingston Plantation Resort.

Super clean, great part of Kingston Plantation

We have stayed in many condos at Kingston plantation over the years. This one was totally updated, no carpet, newish furniture and great kitchen. Everything you can think of was there too. Best of all it was super clean. Glad we found it!

The condo was really nice, lovely decor with all the comforts of home. The area is quiet and peaceful, nice for walking. Also, convenient to lots of attractions, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!
