Enjoy the gulf breezes from the covered porch from this cozy Island cottage. Features include; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, wrap-around sundecks, carport parking and more. NO SMOKING, NO PETS. Amenities: Cable TV, VCR, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Grill and more.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed viewing both sunrises and sunsets from the screened in porch. The rental was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals. We would definitely rent again!

Beach front!!

We had a wonderful time. As other reviews said, the house is compact, but you're at the beach! The house was close enough to Center town to be accessible for the teens to walk and get snacks or shop, but far enough that the beach was not crowded at all, even on spring break. The house had perfect outdoor space, including some screened in (in case of rain), and a deck on each side of house (in case people want privacy). The bed was reasonably comfortable, but more pillows would be nice. The kitchen had ample cookware, but no other supplies. I've stayed at several locations in sgi, so iknow this scarcity of supplies is typical of the island. If you want to avoid paying top dollar at the piggly wiggly consider bringing the following; toilet paper paper towels, basic cleaning supplies, disk detergent, laundry detergent supplies, salt/ pepper, olive oil, basic spices. It rained a few days which underscored this house's best feature. BEACH SIDE. I read for hours on the screened porch watching the ocean. The check in procedure was a little stressful, i heard several different answers about how to handle my late arrival (typically they want you to pick up access info at the office). The issue was resolved last minute (one employee finally answered my question clearly). Nor a big deal, but it would be easier to simply email details for access the day before. I ABSOLUTELY WANT TO RETURN TO THIS LOVELY SPACE. THANK YOU

Delightful late winter stay

Lovely, comfortable furniture, nice size dining table, ocean view from the kitchen sink and good floor plan. Size overkill for a couple, but we really wanted two bathrooms - both were roomy and modern (BYO soap, shampoo and conditioner). Not much storage space in the bedrooms, so we used one for luggage. Were delighted to discover part of the deck had been screened in and a high top with chairs had been added since we had viewed the property last spring. Made it possible for us to see over the railing to the beach and ocean right out front. Thank you to the owners for this change! The wrap-around deck is a delight. When we discovered a plumbing issue upon taking possession, the Suncoast properties was very responsive - plumber arrived promptly. Appreciated prior review tips to bring own hairdryer & laundry basket. The kitchen is stocked with nice glassware, silverware, coffee cups, table settings, cookware, toaster and nice coffeemaker - bring your own #4 filters. May need to provide your own amenities like tin foil, liquid dish detergent, storage containers, trash bags - all are available at the Piggly Wiggly on the island. Great location for an easy bike ride or walk to town. Lovely beach in front of the house.

Martini Del Mar - December 2023 4-week stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Martini Del Mar is cute & cozy! The location by the boardwalk is far enough away to not be disturbed by foot traffic. We used the boardwalk to go to the beach rather than the path from the house.The living area is bright with natural light from the windows during the day; the overhead lighting is good for evenings. The furniture is comfortable & in good repair. There is a HiSense TV with ROKU. The kitchen is galley-style and small, but plenty of storage space in the cabinets. It is well stocked with pots, blender, mixer, coffee maker, toaster, cutting boards and knives, serving and storage containers, and Fiestaware dishes. The master bedroom has limited storage (plenty of room for a week but a longer stay requires some tetris-ing to unpack everything). The Queen bed is comfortable. There is a ceiling fan, two night stands with lamps, and a tv. The bathroom is en-suite with a walk-in shower.The other two bedrooms share the hall bathroom which has a bathtub/shower. The first bedroom has a closet available for use and a Queen bed. It also has the keyless entry box that flashes all night, but strategic placement of items can block the light to allow an undisturbed rest. There is a ceiling fan and a nightstand. The other bedroom has a full/twin bunkbed and no dresser or closet access. The ceiling fan is disabled for safety. We used the room as extra storage when it wasn't needed for a family member to sleep.The deck/porch is a key feature of this house. It goes along three sides so you can get sun or stay out of the wind all day. The back part is screened in but with the type of screen you can actually see through.The underhouse parking area can hold 3-4 vehicles if you park carefully. The laundry room is underneath the house so you do want to leave space to access it. There is a stacked washer/dryer (full size) which worked efficiently.
