You will never want to leave this slice of heaven just steps away from the white sandy beach of the Gulf. This cozy condo will have you coming back year after year. Close to local restaurants, shopping, and local attractions, you'll fill your vacation with fond memories of relaxation and fun.
This condo is located on the 2nd floor of the Aqua Villa Condominium. It doesn't have a private balcony but who needs one when you sit by the window or open the door and the Gulf is right there! The pool is directly below this condo so you're just steps away from swimming either the pool or Gulf.
This is one of the few condos that allows pets. Pets are not allowed on the beach or in pool area. However, there are many dog parks in the area where your fur baby can get their exercise.

We had a wonderful time!

Everything about the stay was great! From check in to check out any time I needed the host she replied back right away! We had a great time and will definitely be back to stay!

Perfect location

This was a great location. Our kids loved being so close to the beach. The pool was steps away from our room and the beach was right beyond that. The room had everything we need, and having the beach chairs and umbrella was amazing! We will definitely be going back!

Beachfront Views

We loved our relaxing stay here with our kids and dog. The owners are fantastic to work with and have tastefully updated the unit. Well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, close to restaurants, and only steps to the beach! Destin is 10 minutes away by car. We'd love to stay here again.

Great place!

We loved our stay here. Communication with the owner was simple and easy. My only recommendation is ceiling fans in the bedrooms for some air movement. We will definitely be back next year.

Hidden Gem

This was our first time at Fort Walton and it did not disappoint! The beds were the best part and SO comfortable! We were just steps away from the beautiful beach and even had chairs and an umbrella for us! The host responded very quickly with any questions that I had.

Perfect way to bring in the New Year

It was very easy to find the property. We appreciated the no hassle parking and easy unloading with carts lined up and ready for use! Check-in was simple and the condo was perfect! We had alot of downtime since it was so foggy during our stay but the comfortable and homey feel of the condo was perfect and we left well rested!

Great Stay

Nice accommodations, perfect place with a very short walk to the beach or pool. Small complex, just a short drive to everything but far enough away there was no traffic, and the beach wasn’t crowded. The pool was nice and goes 8.5 ft deep. No elevator wait times like the bigger complexes. Fully stocked kitchen, the beds and linens were comfortable. Plenty of space.

Fall getaway

Property owner did not let us know that construction was going on, there was no window in our bedroom window so couldn't check in until 2 hours later. We had to hang a blanket in the window for privacy, once the workers were out of the unit our stay was great!! Property manager was GREAT to work with throughout the ordeal. The unit was clean and comfortable and well stocked, just wish there had been some beach towels and chairs. Overall we would stay here again!!

Awesome views of the ocean

The room was excellent, a little trouble initially getting into a room. I sent a message to the host and the issue was taken care of immediately. The care taker lady was very nice and helpful. The views of the ocean are amazing and the pool is a very good size. There was only one working washer on the 4th floor the other 2 were not working

Dog friendly

The conditions were as expected. Couple of things could improve. We did not like the bed in master bedroom . The headboard made a weird noise at every small move. Quite bothersome when you want to sleep. The bathtub is quite worn and the faucet to change to shower directs only half the water. Pretty wasteful. Other than that it is a good location and dog friendly place and it’s essential for us.

Home away from home...

I have been going to destin well over a decade and this was such a pleasant stay. Waking up to the ocean a few steps from the door was amazing. The condo itself was in the process of renovating, but that didn't take away from the lovely decor and comfort. I brought my fur babies too. Renting a unit that allows pets, usually has a wet dog smell or random pieces of fur everywhere. You can tell the person cleaning takes pride in their work, big plus. The owners were also wonderful. Even before getting there, they wished me safe travels and continued to be as sweet and helpful throughout the stay. My only complaint is that I didn't book it for longer. If you are looking for comfort, and wonderful customer service, then I recommend staying here!!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!!!

Elevator DOES NOT WORK

Everything was good with one exception. I feel like the elevator has been broken for months and not been repaired. This information is not provided until a few days before check in. This unit was on the second floor so not a big deal except for my 80 year old mother. Some units are on the 4th floor. All of the condo owners should exert pressure to get elevator repaired or suffer loss of revenue.

Pros and Cons during one month stay.

We stayed the month of March 2024. Pros: check in, communication, location, pet, friendly, large TV, comfortable bed. Cons: nonworking vacuum (sandy floors), nonworking, outdated smoke alarm, one blanket for three beds, no beach towels, no end tables/lamps next to couch for reading, kitchen, outdated with mismatched dishware and silverware in inadequate amounts. Only one dish cloth, and one dish towel. Very difficult to open the dishwasher door as it collides with the oven door. Dishwasher was full of black mold upon arrival and needed treatment twice to eradicate the mold. The apartment manager, Jackie was very helpful! The apartment has an odd configuration and no balcony as the entrance to the apartment is the walkway in front where typically you would have a balcony/seating area to overlook the ocean. The main bedroom is actually the secondary and smaller bedroom with no main bath attached as it is in the front and closer to the ocean and views. The secondary bedroom (larger = Primary) is in the back and has two double beds, a walk-through closet, and an outdated bathroom with an unpleasant odor. I guess for the price, I was expecting more.

Labor Day getaway

Unit 204 was as described, very clean! Beds were very comfortable. Easy access to the pool and beach! There is no private balcony but a picture window that opens so I could still drink my coffee and enjoy the sea breeze and sounds of the waves while dolphin spotting. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent and affordable

The unit is a little older, but its more affordable than other places so thats the trade off. It was clean other than baseboards and corners were showing some dust, but you kinda expect that on old units...no bugs and loved how it was right on the beach. Had to call to figure out how to get a car tag when we arrived. The owners are very nice and great to work with. One thing we didn't like was the master had no bathroom in the room...it was in the hallway...the kids room however did have a bathroom in the room. You can't touch the light switch in the master or you'd turn off the wifi so you have to manually turn on and off the lamps...but really not that big of a deal. The owner is very responsive if anything goes wrong. We would stay there again if we ever go to Fort Walton.
