Phoenix West 2009



Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and each bedroom. With over 2,600 sq ft the unit is very spacious and has the best views in Orange Beach!!



The unit is professional decorated with full-size stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, wet bar with ice maker, 60” flat screen HDTV in living room with flat panel TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a King sized bed, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bedrooms each have queen sized beds and there is also a sleeper sofa Queen in the living room should you need more space for occupancy up to 10.



There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 4 saunas and roof-top tennis courts.



There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation.



Parking: Parking pass(es) must be purchased online from Phoenix West, they are a one time fee of $58 per vehicle. You will receive a Registration Email from Vacation Rental Parking Solutions before arrival that will include a link to register your vehicle and purchase your parking pass(es). Any 4br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to THREE parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

Really nice condo. Had plenty of room for 9 people.The kitchen lacks decent pots and pans. Brought my own Keurig coffee pot so we could use pods. There was only a drip coffee pot available. Wish there had been 2 more balcony lounge chairs. Very large balcony. Wonderful view from the balcony. Great view of the dolphins in the water several times. Really enjoyed the lazy river. Would recommend this condo.

Relaxing Getaway

Perfect Family Vacation

Location was perfect! It is close to restaurants, activities to do, and steps to the beach. The view was beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kids!

Will be yearly experience

This was a perfect place for my family, plus my sisters family. Beautiful ocean view. Huge balcony great for sunrise and sunsets. My 9 yr olds first time at the beach and ready to go back.

Beautiful Views

This unit - 2009 is a corner unit - the views are awesome. The balcony - due to the size - was one of the highlights of the trip - never spent that much time on a balcony - but you will in this unit. The size and quality of this unit - is difficult to find. The unit made the stay very enjoyable for everyone!!!!

Family time ???

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The instructions for check in are not very clear. Yes, the instructions for the door code are great, but where to get the wristbands, parking and carts was very confusing. The unit was very nice but you could definitely see the wear and tear showing through. The ice machine in the refrigerator made ice but you couldn’t get it to dispense, the other ice machine needed cleaned as the ice machine said. The lazy river was not very lazy! If you could get a tube you were lucky. The amount of kids unsupervised swimming in the lazy river pushing into you, splashing you, running and screaming made it alittle hard to enjoy with our grandson and children.The elevators were a nightmare! Trying to get to the pool/beach and back to your room took forever. Want to go to dinner? Better add 20-30 minutes of elevator time. We have stayed in plenty of places but for the money this didn’t make the cut for us.

Great space

This property was great. It was very clean and roomy. I did have an issue or two. First issue is with the king bedroom mattress. It is MUCH softer than my husband and I are accustomed to sleeping on each night. That’s a personal issue. Another would be the lack of an inside doormat or bedside rugs. This condo is located in a high rise on the beach. A place to wipe one’s shoes upon entering would be a GREAT help controlling sand indoors.

Excellent Location

I’ll start with the good. Excellent location, Lazy River, slide and pools were perfect for entertaining kids! The condo is enormous, we were 4 adults and 2 children and there was ample space for all. Balcony was spacious and the views were gorgeous. The bad. It was not very clean, the floors were the worse I’ve seen in any rental. I went out and bought a broom and a few cleaning supplies (none were available) for use. Beds were squeaky, but okay. Toaster, 1/2 worked. Washer & dryer need to be replaced, worked at about 50%. I suppose the question I ask myself is, would I do it again knowing all of this? Probably so, the good outweighed the bad by a long shot. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels too, I didn’t even know a product could be so poor!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to Orange Beach. We had 6 guests ranging from 4 years to 70. The space was PERFECT for what we needed. We did not want to feel crowded and we didn't at all! The condo was very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfortable. There are a few box fans also, which is a huge perk if you're someone who needs a fan to sleep and have a hard time finding one to pack! Emails about check in were detailed and didn't leave any confusion for us.A/C was cold and worked great, water pressure in showers were great, kitchen was stocked with what we needed. We had ZERO complaints about the condo.For the overall area- we found that we wished there was more to do in walking distance. There are a few good restaurants across the street, but would have loved more. The lazy river was a big hit for all guests, but we did notice during our stay, it was mostly adults who were drinking very heavily, which is awesome for them but made it where kids couldn't really enjoy it. Im sure this all just depends on the crowd who is there when you are. Easy access to the beach was amazing, and the chair rental company was super friendly and easy to rent from. There were some long wait times for the elevator, but I think that is just how it is at most vacation spots. Overall, the condo is amazing! The location is ok, depending what you are there for. If you have a car, you will be fine. Do not just rely on walking to fun places. Also, if you plan to order groceries, it could be difficult. We ordered a Wal-Mart delivery the day before we needed it, and it got delayed. After finally getting ahold of someone, they said it could be 48 hours or so before someone could deliver it. So we had to cancel and uber to the store.
