This sun filled Manchester by the Sea home is ready to make idyllic summer beach town memories! Perched on a hill giving it a "treehouse effect" you'll find a quiet getaway in this peaceful neighborhood. Enjoy a private wooded and beautifully landscaped backyard featuring a unique outdoor fireplace. Break out the charcoal grill on the wraparound deck and you'll find plenty of outdoor seating for all.

The first level has an open concept space perfect for entertaining! Serve meals on the large kitchen island or gather everyone in the dining room. A full bathroom is just outside the first bedroom with two twin beds. The master suite features new mid century modern furnishings, plenty of closet space to unpack and a comfortable sitting area. A sliding door leads right out to the deck!

Head downstairs and you'll find another living space with endless entertainment options including games, books, and a smart TV perfect for movie nights. 2 bedrooms are found on this level both with dedicated workspaces. Grab your beach gear from the garage and head to Singing Beach with the passes included in your stay! When you come back you'll find a convenient laundry room great for throwing your beach clothes in after a day at the beach.

Great location in a wonderful town, which was walkable from the house. Quiet neighbourhood with ample safe road for our dog to be walked without constant cars.Perfect house for family, plenty of space good natural light on the main kitchen and sitting area floor.

Awesome getaway

We had 7 of us staying for a long weekend to celebrate my son's graduation. Rachel was a great host. This is a spacious home with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well-supplied. The patio was great for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors. Would highly recommend.

Disappointed

We felt cheated, some of the lights did not work, the jacuzzi tub did not work. My husband was getting a shower and the handle came off in his hand. All in all experience with all the money we spent did not luve up to expect

Nice house in a lovely neighborhood

The house was in a very nice neighborhood and was conveniently located to places we wanted to visit. The hostess was responsive and helpful. It was a spacious home with a large deck which we used. I had hoped to check in about 45 minutes early but the cleaners hadn’t arrived yet so we had to wait.

Lots of room and light

Spacious home with lots of light. Well-appointed kitchen and a good fit for our family. We especially appreciated the walk on passes to the beach and play room downstairs with toys, which our grandson enjoyed. Be advised that it does not have central AC. There are window units in the living area and bedrooms upstairs. There is no AC downstairs, which is a cooler area, but a little musty. It is about 2 miles to the beach, so not really walking distance. Disappointed that the whirlpool tub didn't work, for the price we paid, but overall was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the town and the beach. The host was very responsive.

We were 8 adults renting and missed out on our first choice of properties that had all queen beds and so this was only one available in the area we needed and was very convenient for our activities in the surrounding area. Rachel was very prompt with responsive to our questions. Property was very clean and had a great appointed kitchen with all the essentials and then some! Downside: the pillows were not so great and the twin beds in the bedroom next to the kitchen, though maybe good for children, our 2 adults (husband and wife) found them very uncomfortable and the room not very well insulated to the noise of the kitchen. There are a lot of stairs in and outside of the property, so wouldn’t recommend for those with walking issues. We made the best of it and had a pleasant stay.

Great location, responsive host

Nice house in a pleasant neighborhood. Owner was very responsive. House didn’t have curtains but otherwise nothing I would change.

I love to enjoy Gloucester beaches, or adventure to local coffeeshops and breweries. When I'm not managing rentals I am working for a local nonprofit mentoring middle and high school students or chasing around our growing baby! We love enjoying Airbnb as a guest and getting to experience new places in unique homes. Some of our favorite Airbnbs have been in Sarasota, Santa Barbara, and Montreal.
