Whether there's snow on the ground or the grass is green, this charming 2BR cabin + loft puts you in the middle of year-round fun. Grab your sunscreen and swimsuit and spend the day on the sand at Meeks Bay. Paddle a kayak, or spend the day at the beach enjoying Tahoe's great weather.

Lace up the hiking boots and explore Sugar Pine Point State Park, with hiking and biking trails for all levels. Head out on the nearby bike path to Tahoe City. Explore Homewood Mountain Resort, which has great year-round activities including skiing and hiking

After all that fresh air, relax in the lodge-like living room furnished with a couch, wood-burning stove, and 32in TV with DVD player, Netflix, and Amazon. Bring your own movies or choose from the DVD library.

Updated and equipped for all your cooking needs, the fully stocked kitchen has butcher block counters, trendy gray cabinets, and a double sink. Start the morning at the two-person kitchen table, sipping on a cup of coffee and planning your day. Several TV trays offer additional seating for light meals and snacks.

With two bedrooms and a loft area, the home sleeps six comfortably. Cuddle up in the primary bedroom, where you'll find a queen bed and a dresser. Kids will love the second bedroom where they'll sleep in a twin-over-twin bunk bed. Up in the loft, there's extra sleeping space on a full-size bed and futon. The full bath has also been updated and has a tiled tub/shower combination.

Lake Tahoe is bursting with natural beauty all year round. Visit Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, both just minutes away. Homewood Mountain Resort boasts ski runs for all skill levels, as well as a challenging terrain course.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great home while vacationing

As a family of four it was great to have enough space to all of us to sleep comfortably. It was nice to have a kitchen and we were able to do several meals there as well as a washer and dryer

Great location

The inside was great but the outside decks need a lot of TLC. Loose boards, nails sticking out and no railings on the stairs with large gaps. The owner showed up with the cable man one morning, tried the door but couldn’t get in. I would think he should be informed when it’s occupied.. all in all, my husband and I had fun

The lock on the door did not work properly. I had to call and there was no answer. Had to leave it unlocked when we went to dinner. There was a stain on sofa. Towels are old and there was only 2 washcloths. Paint is peeling throughout. The deck is rickety and shoddily repaired. We dropped one of our glass containers and there was a 3 foot broom and no dustpan to clean. Dvd player did not work. Dresser door pulls missing. Water heater closet door was ripped off. They’re missing just exposed framing. Door knobs throughout falling off. The kitchen table was sloped and uneven. Property was not adequate for the price paid. Would not recommend

It’s ok

It’s cute little cabin. Just needs maintenance. Washer was broken, dryer was full of sand for some reason. The kitchen floors were sticky, when we got there. The biggest down side was all the spiders and cobwebs inside. There’s was three huge spiders inside. We weren’t able to sleep comfortable, cause of the spiders.

Fine rental

The house was fine, basically what I would describe as a very bare bones. The disappointment really comes at the level of care given during snow season. The home instructions said the walk way and drive way would be cleared leading up to arrival, there was a good 3-5 feet of snow over the walkway (there was not more than an inch of snow in the week leading up to our arrival so it was not recent fall accumulation). If you had anyone in your party that was not well able bodied you would have not been able to make it to the home.

I’m writing to express our deep dissatisfaction with the condition and experience of the property we booked. The listing was completely misrepresented, and what we walked into was unacceptable on multiple levels.To begin with, the property was filthy. There were spiderwebs throughout, the bathrooms were visibly dirty, and the floor was covered in dried toothpaste. This is far from the clean and comfortable space that was advertised.Upon arrival, we were forced to wait outside for an extended period because the lock malfunctioned. We had to call the 800 number and wait on hold until someone eventually provided backup keys. Even those are unreliable and rarely work on the first try.Adding to our frustration, the heat does not function properly, leaving the place cold and uncomfortable. The hot water supply is minimal—barely enough for one person to shower before it runs cold.Perhaps most disappointing is the deceptive listing of the loft. It was clearly advertised as accessible, yet when we arrived, it was locked with a sign saying it’s for “owner use only.” This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and it’s completely unfair to consumers who made decisions based on the amenities shown.Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. We feel misled.

Cute cabin, basic amenities

Enjoyed the space, but make sure to bring anything you need as it is bare bones. For the cost, cute stay. It’s pretty warm in the summer (no A/C) so will need to use fans and windows cracked open (be careful of bears!) Top bunk bed has no head room so adults will have a hard time sleeping there.

It’s a good value!

The cabin is a good deal for the $$. For what you are paying, the beds are relatively comfortable with foam mattress pads. It’s clean and has a simple kitchen that gets the job done. The upstairs loft is hard to access for adults, but fun for kids.

Winks Cabin

The location of the cabin is in the West Lake Tahoe, its worth visiting, Tahoma are mostly locals according to the neighbor I talked to. As you enter the community mostly owner occupied homes but where we stayed are mostly rentals, located at the end side of the community. Not a lot of visitors when we visited but they said next 2 weeks is when it really gets busy for summer. The cabin is conveniently located to all the parks we visited. Quaint Cabin, it has all the convenience of tiny house.
