I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was only a couple blocks away from the beach. The property was very clean and had everything you might need. There were beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas in the closet. Lastly, there was plenty of parking in the parking garage.

Vacation trip with friends and family

Room was as described and had everything we needed for the week we were there. Loved that they had beach chairs and boards to use.

Great location

We had so much fun staying at this place. Everything that we needed was there, boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella were nice additions to enhance our vacation. Definitely recommended and would be very happy to return to this place.

Great location, clean

Loved the location! Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shops, restaurants and the zoo. Room was clean and decent size for family of 4. Property manager was great. Very easy check in and no issues the whole week we were there.

Wonderful Location

Only about a 15/20 minute drive to Diamond Head. The place was clean and had a nice balcony to enjoy our breakfast.

We had a good time

We had a good time here. The sofa bed is very comfortable. Everything works except the beach chair and umbrella are broken. We didn’t need them that much so it didn’t bother us that much. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Great location in Waikiki

The room was well maintained, clean, and even had a couple of puzzles that were used. The option for free parking was also appreciated.

Great place and value

The unit was as described, with the kitchen, beach gear, and free parking saving us money on our vacation. The view was good, with the ocean and Diamond Head visible. And the location was great — a short walk to the beach, dining, and shopping. This unit is right next to the elevator, which concerned us when we arrived, but noise was not an issue once in our week there. Property manager was great. We would stay here again.

This condo was a fantastic deal. Very clean and comfortable! We love having a kitchen and separate bedroom when traveling, especially when we have our kids with us. The pool and boogie boards were perfect to keep the kids entertained. Free parking was great and had 24 hour security. Only cons are the area isn’t the best after dark according to our relatives who are locals. But still we are from the Seattle area so I’d say it’s not that bad at all.

Staying in Paradise

I loved not having to pay for resort fees. Saved a good chunk of money. The property is a little dated, but it is perfectly Hawaiian. I would stay here again and most likely will.

Hawai’i 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately due to maintenance in the building there was no AC in the condo. It was too hot to survive without AC so we were able to find another rental and our hosts were incredibly understanding and gave us a full refund.

Convenient place for Waikiki

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Waikiki Sunset is a great for enjoying the Waikiki beaches, the zoo, and the many shops and restaurants in that area. The condo is clean, beds are comfortable, and the Captain Cook resort staff are helpful and responsive. The only negative that we encountered was the the fact that the elevators were slow because one or two were out of service .

Vacation at Waikiki Sunset

Clean overall, kitchen had plenty of glassware and dishes for all our home cooked meals. Location is walkable to beach, restaurants, stores, bus stop and even Safeway. Would recommend to family and friends. Staff at Captain Cook Resorts are professional and just a phone call away if you need anything.

Great stay in Waikiki

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was exactly as pictured and worked great for 4 girlfriends to stay 4 nights to attend another friend’s destination wedding. Of course we weren’t in the room much, and didn’t cook, except coffee, but it was perfect. The 2 beds AND the pullout couch were very comfortable! Beach towels were great since it was only a two block walk to the ocean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance (or quick Uber). We used the shuttle service to airport that they recommended since we had to leave at 5am - very efficient. Would highly recommend this condo and the Captain Cook management.

Paradise Found

This condo is absolutely perfect. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach, 2 minutes from an ABC and 7 minutes from Cheeseburgers in Paradise! The patio is perfect for morning coffee and offers quite a nice view. The condo itself is very well appointed, everything you need is there. We used the pool multiple times and the bbq one evening. The only thing I would point out is the parking is 6’ in height and a bit tight, no oversized vehicles. I had a jeep and was scared the first few times that I would scrape the top. Captain Cook has also been fantastic to book with and communication has been great. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Waikiki, look no further, you found it!

Some of the outlets didn’t work. Specifically the bathroom outlet didn’t work. The desk outlet was so loose it didn’t charge anything. It’s in a hotel so you expect it to kinda operate like one but it doesn’t. You take care of the resort. Also was charged a Vrbo fee using Expedia.

The property was clean and a close walk to the beach, restaurant and shopping. There were 2 beach chairs, boogy boards and a umbrella to take to the beach. That was nice! Check in was easy and the property manager was responsive. We had an issue with the toilet and it was fixed by the next afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai having our breakfast in the morning. There is a lot of city noise but with the doors closed we didn’t hear it. The free parking was great! It can be difficult to park as it is a tight fit but I think what to expect when parking in any bigger city parking garage. We went to the pool on afternoon and it was good. It would have been nice to have a hot tub as well. We would stay here again. We would stay here again.

Family fun in Waikiki

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great for small family. A bit noisy with construction going on and street noise, but nothing that would keep you up at night. And surprisingly very little noise from elevator which it is adjacent. Issue with water being off one day and hot water being off due to the repair, but shouldn’t be an ongoing issue. Great location, walking distance to Waikiki beach and strip in front of beach with shops and restaurants. Loved borrowing use of the 2 beach chairs and beach umbrella. Views of diamond head and small bit of the ocean. Loved being able to cook a few meals.
