Centrally located on Jekyll Island, we're within minutes of shops, restaurants, fishing, and 40 beach access points. Brand new kitchen with huge island for cooking and entertaining. Perfect private pool with outdoor fridge, outdoor TV, grill, and putting green. Upstairs in-law suite with a second kitchen, patio, living and sleeping area. Ample parking for cars and golf carts! Fully stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. 2 bikes included with each rental!

It was fantastic. Everything you needed for meals, cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc was provided. Plenty of room to be together with room to spread out. Loved, loved loved the firepit. I think only suggestion would be a TV for Master on ground floor. Our host was very helpful & made sure we had all we needed and got back to me quickly. Great stay.

The bedrooms and amenties were awesome. The location was perfect. We had such a fantastic time. My only critique: there was an alligator that kept coming into the pool and pool deck every day. The bathrooms were also mildewy.

Beautiful house on Jekyll Island

We had 11 family members (3 families) and this house was comfortable and spacious! The upstairs kitchen was used by one family for breakfast , snacking, etc. It was so much fun after a day of adventure (bike riding, beach playing, geo- cache hunting) to return to an inviting swimming pool to cool off. There were no issues (aside from a broken blender) and everything promised in this house was provided. If I were to return to JI with the family, I would rent this house again.

Family vacation

Many rooms with the in ground pool that helped make our trip enjoyable. A few things could be done to property by owner to make the stay more enjoyable. With that said the island is a wonderful place to spend a family vacation.

Birthday weekend

This house was perfect, great location, very well stocked, Beds were extremely comfortable. The Extra area upstairs worked out perfect for our family everyone had their own space. Communication with the owner and the property manager were very prompt. We will definitely stay again here.

This home is spacious and perfect for large families. Having the built-in ‘apartment’ feature was a nice extra for privacy. Easy communication with host. We really enjoyed our stay!

Felt like home….only better

So roomy, so comfortable; but unlike home, steps from the beach. Perfect beach decor. Our family hated to leave. Definitely will make this a repeat very soon! Thanks to the Youngbloods for providing this excellent accommodation.

LOVED OUR TIME AT CHARLOTTE'S CHATEAU

Fantastic place for our girls high school golf team during our state tournament. Plenty of space, wonderfully appointed with amenities. The girls loved the pool. We also used and appreciated the grill. Thanks for allowing us to be there.

Loved Charlottes Chateau!!

Had a large group of adults. Place is spacious. Nice decor. Comfortable accommodations - did I mention the Pool - so awesome spent many hours with our group swimming splashing and making the best memories- lots to do and see in the area. Beach is super close. Highly recommend this place and Jess the host was very attentive.

Perfect joint family getaway

This house was so lovely. Extremely spacious for two families with small children. Jessica provided a high chair and pack and play, which was so convenient for my sister who flew in with a one-year-old baby. We had everything we needed fora week of fun and comfort. We hope to come back.

We loved this property!

Perfect for our family of mostly adult children plus a three year old grandchild. The kitchen is fabulous! We all love to cook and we had plenty of space at the island to make homemade egg rolls one night. Loved having the extra fridge in the upstairs kitchen and out by the pool. The pool was a huge plus! Host was very responsive to questions.

Excellent location!

My family stayed here with another family. The location is fantastic for families. The tides come in and out and the beach closest to the house ends up under water, as described in the listing. It's only a short drive to another location where the beach stays available regardless of tides. The pool was well kept and there were toys/floats available for the kids.

Great Stay

Very accommodating home with all a big group could need for a week on Jekyll. Jessica was extremely responsive and helpful with recommendations for our first time to the island. WiFi worked great, beds were comfortable, kitchen and linen closets nicely stocked. Easy beach access. The only suggestions I would make would be some window coverings for upstairs and fix the top bunk bed railing. Would definitely return!

Jekyll rental

My family and I rented Charlottes chateau for the week. It was a fabulous stay and I can't say that there was one thing that I would change. This home was beautiful inside, the upstairs bedroom had a kitchen and a small living room that my husband and I enjoyed very much while my kids and grandkids stayed downstairs,the bedrooms were all a decent size and the beds were all very comfortable, plenty of room for the 10 of us,The kitchen is very large and is fully equipped for any type of cooking.beach access was across the street,a short walk,the pool was very clean. We would definitely stay here again and looking forward to our next family vacation.

Loved the layout of the house. Perfect for having a little fun with your older adult kids, while the grandparents could sleep comfortably in a quiet area. We had 12 family members with us The house could use just a little bit more renovation, which would be fun to watch as we would return again. Owner was quick to get back to us with a couple of questions which was greatly appreciated. It was great to return to Jekyll as we used to go every year for 12 years, we would return to this house and appreciate the owner sharing it with us.

A Memorable Stay!

My family of 12 had an absolute blast at our stay. The location was perfect, and the homes temperature and amenities exceeded our expectations. The pool was an amazing highlight. The hosts' hospitality and communication was top notch in case we needed any extra attention anywhere. The statement of the parking situation fitting 10 cars might be a bit of a stretch though. It felt tight with 4 cars and a rented golf cart. However, I loved that there were bikes provided to ride and the washer & dryer was available. Comfy beds and plenty of space. There's no doubt that this rental home would be our top choice if we visit again.

Amazing spring break!

From booking the property through the entire stay it was wonderful! We arrived to a beautiful, fully stocked home and all the comfort's we looked forward to having during the week. The beds were amazing and we all slept very well, bettert than anywhere we have stayed before. Such a beautiful island and our teenage boys had such a fun time exploring the island. Super nice neighbors and others on the island who gave recommendations on hidden places to explore. The restaurants were all delicious and we had fun in Brunswick and St. Simmons island as well. Would definitely come back and stay at this property again. Charlotte was always available if we had questions which was very comforting. Thanks for a relaxing and comfortable trip! Your Wisconsin Spring Breakers!!

Hunter & Jess are a recently married couple who reside in Atlanta, GA and are the proud owners of this beach house that has been in Jessica's family since 1968.

Charlotte's Chateau was established in 1968 by Jim & Charlotte Youngblood. They raised their children and their children's children in the home on Jekyll Island for over 50 years. After the passings of Charlotte and Jim, the house was passed on to Jessica's father. In 2016, he added the upstairs suite to accommodate even more space for the family. In 2022, Hunter and Jessica were given the opportunity to purchase the house and restore it to its former glory while honoring the rich history of influences from Jekyll Island, the 1960s, and even Charlotte herself.

The Youngbloods are excited to share this home with you and they hope you love it just as much as they do.

This house offers a completely private backyard and private pool oasis. Come enjoy a drink by the pool after a hot day at the beach! The home enjoys a classic mid-century modern style that was popular when Jekyll was founded in the late 1950s. It is perfectly set up for multi-family guests and groups of friends.
