Sea Colony is a very unique resort in Bethany Beach, one of a kind to the area. Unit 209 is a second floor unit with terrific views of the ocean! The unit has just completed a renovation and it boasts numerous modern touches and relaxing style. New flooring, furniture, bedding, and fixtures will make your stay in this condo an absolute pleasure. The unit includes a primary bedroom with a full bathroom and water views. There are two additional bedrooms that share a hall bathroom with a shower. The living area opens up onto the deck that provides views of the ocean and one of the numerous pools. There is assigned parking at the condo for 1 car. This is a resort like no other in this area! Sea Colony guests enjoy exclusive access to a half-mile of private beach, up to 12 pools (including two indoor), world class tennis, pickle ball, state-of-the-art fitness centers and activities for all ages. You do not need to leave the complex, there is always something to do. Resort amenities are not included in the rental fee, anyone over the age of 4 must purchase a badge to have access to any amenities at Sea Colony including the beach.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $182.25. To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

The condo was beautiful, updated, and had a great layout. We really enjoyed the space and it felt modern and comfortable. The only downside was that when we arrived, the floors had sand on them, there was foil stuck to the bottom of the oven, and a couple of stains on the comforter. These were small things, but worth mentioning since they stood out in an otherwise lovely stay. With a little more attention to cleaning, this place would be perfect.

Good location and amenities. Condo was a bit dirty under the beds with noticeable pet hair, sand, and dust. The front door also closed/slammed extremely hard, which was a cause for concern for our small kids.

Great property - best way to visit Bethany with easy access to the heated pool and the beach. Wonderful space with rooms for everyone and a full kitchen so you can easily make some meals without going out. Beautifully renovated and perfect balcony to enjoy the ocean views.

Joseph Gallagher is why we book this place He's so accommodating and kind and patient. The unit was tight with two little boys but we made the best of it. Sea Colony is our favorite because of the private beach and many pools. Wish we could have a larger unit there for next summer.

Fantastic property

Our unit was well appointed, very clean, and perfect for our family. Sea Colony is a beautiful resort. Quick access to the beach and pools was nice for a family. Residents are friendly and welcoming. The staff & security are also very nice & helpful. We were very happy with the entire experience.

Somewhat disappointing

The ocean view and short walk to the beach and pool was appreciated. The furnishings were pretty nice. The kitchen and bathrooms were not that well-finished, and the kitchen could have been better stocked. We were unhappy that there were dirty sheets on our beds, dirt on the floor and TWO broken glasses in the cabinet--with two glass shards pointing up in the dish drying rack where someone could have sliced their wrist. The property manager was skeptical about the glasses and not sufficiently apologetic about the condition of the property. They did address the bed sheets and most of the vaccuming, but a full-throated apology and a refunded cleaning fee or flowers was called for.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect stay at this rental in July 2023 and couldn't imagine staying in Bethany anywhere else. The unit was perfectly sized and wonderfully improved - a full kitchen so we could stay in and cook with ease and 3 great bedrooms so everyone had their space. The easy access to the heated pool and beach were perfection - great for kids but also relaxing for adults. Wonderful balcony to watch the sunset and enjoy the wonderful summer thunderstorm. Five star - highly recommend!

Just okay

I have stayed in many condos at Sea Colony over the last three decades. This one was a bit disappointing. The glass door to the balcony did not lock, the main door took a lot of coaxing to close because it didn’t work properly, the bedroom door wouldn’t close because the flooring was too high, and there were loose pretzels on the floor of the bedroom when we arrived. For paying what we did, I expected things to be in working order and cleaned thoroughly, just like our condos at Sea Colony were in the past.
