With breathtaking views all around, the house boasts a sandy beach with tide pools and a pier, perfect for exploring Nelson Bay and Core Sound with the two provided kayaks. Admire the stunning sunsets from almost every room in the house with views of Nelson Bay or Core Sound. Keep in mind that oyster shells and marine life may be present in the water and around the beach, so swim at your own risk.
The house is located on Nelson Bay along a quiet road, but please be aware that during King Tides or storm events, the road may not be passable by some vehicles during high tide. Ample parking is available for guests, but please plan accordingly as the road may not always be accessible.

Family vacation

Drove over 7 hours to arrive to the house about 15mins before getting there I get a message that there is no water the well had went out the day before we went the first 18 hours of vacation with 12 people with no water and only thing that was offered was full refund and try to find something else or tuff it out the house was nasty due to not having water beds were made with dirty bedding dog hair and pubic hair on and in beds and killed 4 roaches during the stay just before check out we were messaged that you have to haul off your own trash pay that much and have to take it 2 miles up the road is aggravating definitely would have been nice to know before booking it’s a beautiful location and once water was on and we cleaned and washed the house it was a nice stay but an offer of some discount or something to make up for the inconvenience Should have been made and the over all unprofessional way it all happened warrants a worse review than the house it self deserves

Pat attention

Very nice property had a few issues but they were dealt with swiftly. The dock / pier is not useable all the way out. Very limited cooking untensils i.e. only 2 pans amazing views and neighbors

Loved the sunsets, Barker’s Island, Cedar Island and Beaufort!

Plenty of space for our family. Wish we had a second family to enjoy with us! The kitchen is a nice size. We can see in the warmer months how great the dining room and grill deck would be for entertaining. The private dock gave us access to a small beach that in the summer would be great for kayaking, etc. The house is fairly remote so anywhere you might need to go is 20-40min away. We didn’t mind. The drive is beautiful. We would defiiitely go back!
