Exclusive Cottage Steps from 7-Mile Beach

Our story began back in 2005 when we visited Grand Cayman for the first time.

Back then, we were on a Caribbean cruise in a luxurious onboard suite with everything that we could possibly ask for. Yet all we wanted to do was stay in Grand Cayman, on the beach, and not return to our ship.

Though we’ve visited many beautiful beaches around the world, nothing could compare to the crystal blue waters, soft white sands, and the overwhelming feeling of being at home in Grand Cayman.

That’s when we knew that the magic of Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman had stolen our hearts.

Over the next 15 years, we traveled back to Grand Cayman often. When Covid hit, we finally decided to take the leap and purchase our own home on the island.

We knew we wanted a place mere steps from a swimmable portion of Seven Mile Beach, away from the crowded touristy areas.

When Sandy Lane Cottage on the exclusive Boggy Sand Road went on the market, it was a no-brainer. We purchased it immediately.

This is not your average location. We hope you also grow to love our cottage and feel the magic encompassed within our “home away from home.”

The famous and quiet Boggy Sand Road is the only low-rise residential street on Seven Mile Beach. We are ideally located at the end of the cul-de-sac, which means there are rarely any cars on what is already a very quiet street. The beachfront beauties surrounding us are multi-million dollar homes. We are one of only a few properties with exclusive gated access to such a pristine beachfront.

We think Boggy Sand Road is “picture perfect.” It is well shielded from all of the noise and tourism that you would normally encounter on West Bay Road. Our quaint little street is ideal for taking leisurely walks, with or without a furry companion, or a scenic jog along the coastline.

We are also approximately a 5-minute walk from a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, doctor’s office, bus route, and many restaurants and shops.

Our village-style setting means that you won’t require a car every day and can easily catch a bus to any destination. There is also a car rental company a short bus trip away on West Bay Road for the days that you wish to explore the island on your own.

Within a 10-minute drive, you’ll also find stunning golf courses at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the North Sound Golf course.

You will find a plush Duxiana 6006 king pillowtop mattress in the main bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub. A posh set-up on the second story, this master bedroom has direct access to a patio overlooking our refreshing saltwater pool which is surrounded by lush sea grape and palm trees.

Also located on the upper level near the master bedroom, we have our second guest room with a full-size bed. This room also features an office desk, chair and wi-fi printer and has direct access to the patio overlooking our refreshing saltwater pool.

The third upstairs bedroom houses two Duxiana 6006 pillowtop twin beds that can either be left separate or pushed together to create one king-size bed. This room shares a bathroom with the second bedroom.

Located on the ground level, you’ll find a luxurious queen-sized Duxiana 6006 pillowtop bed. This room includes an office nook with an electric sit/stand desk, and dual 32” computer monitors. You’ll also find a hub for easy connection to your laptop. This room contains an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

There are two outdoor patios that are shaded for much of the day. Find reprieve in these sheltered alcoves once you’ve had enough of the Grand Cayman sunshine.

The ground-floor patio includes a BBQ grill and dining table for six.

A pristine, saltwater pool with deck chairs and umbrellas is right outside your front door and only steps from the beach. It’s like having access to your very own tropical oasis!

Don’t leave your furry friend behind! You are allowed one small dog or a cat. Since we are ideally located on the quiet and residential Boggy Sand Road, it is the perfect environment for walking your dog without worrying about traffic. Your pet will be best friends with the neighborhood's four-legged brigade in no time!
