Stunning Three Bedroom Historical South Park bungalow - located just steps away from UD, downtown Dayton, and Miami Valley Hospital. This home features an open concept living space with white oak hardwood flooring through-out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern amenities: stainless steal appliances, soft close cabinetry, granite countertops. Two Gorgeous bathrooms w/ custom tile work including a master w/ walk-in shower. Completely fenced in rear yard w/ privacy. Magical space!

Home near the park

We had a wonderful stay in Dayton with our family! We were here for our daughter’s wedding in Yellow Springs about 30 minutes away and found this historic home where we could all be together. Everyone enjoyed the home and thought it was nicely renovated and great shape for being over 100 years old! Comfortable beds, modern appliances and very clean. Perfect decor for the home and area. Hosts even provides a lovely welcome gift basket and binder filled with great information about the home, themselves and the area. Everything we needed and then some was provided for our stay, like extra towels, bed linens and cozy blankets. There is also a nice park across the street! We felt safe during our stay and the home is in a good area. Parking was not an issue and had plenty of street parking in addition to alleyway parking. Super nice place we all enjoyed for our brief stay!

Didn't get to stay

We didn't get to stay at the property. We made the reservation, received multiple confirmations, and paid for the rental in full. We had family in from out of town for my son's wedding and already had 14 people staying at our house, so reserved the home for them (5 guests). Of note, I have used VRBO many times and never had an experience like this. We received emails from VRBO about check-in that stated to message the property manager for the access code since it wasn't provided in the email. We messaged the owner/manager for days with no response. Starting at check in time we spent 3 hours constantly on the phone and driving to the property, where we were instructed to take a picture of the property and send it to VRBO customer service in Peru (proof we were there?). VRBO declared us stranded guests, and after another 45 min on the phone offered us a hotel an hour away from our home and the wedding venue. We made alternate arrangements without VRBO. The owner eventually apologized, stating he thought VRBO gave us the code, despite the multiple direct texts and phone calls we made to his provided number. He refunded our money but offered nothing for the phenomenal stress and inconvenience the whole situation caused... with 14 people waiting for us at our home. VRBO lists him as a 'Superhost.' Sadly, not for us. :( * Rated cleanliness and location only because survey required it. Neighborhood was fine, didn't see inside the house to assess cleanliness.

Modern and Charming House in Dayton

We appreciated the decor and the great touches at this house. There was plenty of room and lots of thoughtful touches. The house is convenient to University of Dayton, the Oregon District and downtown. Quiet neighborhood.

clean and comfortable

This house was the perfect spot for my family (brother, mom and dad, and me) to stay as we were in town for another family member's wedding. The house is styled really clean, modern, and the kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. The house has a very nice open concept for gathering, with 3 very private bedrooms, great style on the interior design, and had some really cool features (especially the master bath!). It was very clean and comfortable for our family. The house was so close to everything we did. The wedding and reception were downtown (5 minute drive) and we were able to explore other fun areas of downtown including the market on Saturday which was great, as well as Oregon district for some fun shops on wedding day. Thanks for a great stay, definitely recommend!
