Not What I Expected
The property could be the 5 Star rating if the owner put some money back in the property. Louver door in hall way was off the track. The slats in all the blinds in the entire apartment have issues. None opened properly. Broken slats were turned over and hung again causing the slat to be off center. All blinds allowed light in when shut. The front blind is the worst. Internet hooked up to a wall switch that needed to be turned on. No one told us about that. Faucet in kitchen broken. Floors very dirty. This facility charged me a cleaning fee when they do not use it to keep their facility clean. The dirt in the ceiling fan was unreal! Finally ALFAN Estates is non responsive. They sent a guy over who rehung the slats by punching a hole off center from the broken connection. Hence the slat is hung on an angle allowing light in. Several slats were still missing. ALFAN stated they would call me back and discuss compensation from first complaint, but never did speak to me again.. They just went radio silent.
VRBO rates the facility as a 5 Star facility when it is a 3 Star because of the owners "get by" approach. ALFAN is cheap, Non responsive and and only interested in making money. For these two reasons I will never ever use ALFAN Estates or VRBO for my travel needs. I am very disappointed in both!
