Great stay, when we first arrived I was a little unsure because the house has peeling paint. But inside is so much nicer. Walking distance to the light house, long sands and short sands. Nice quiet neighborhood as well.

We had a wonderful time staying at this charming Nubble cottage. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location is unbeatable—tucked away on a great, quiet family street but just minutes on foot from the beaches and local attractions. The cottage is very well-equipped, and the kitchen setup with the unfolding island was excellent for family meals. The outdoor space was perfect, from al fresco dining to winding down at night. The host was fantastic and the property was immaculate. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming up to York for many years. Bonnie’s house on Airport Drive was excellent. Location is fantastic walkable to both Short and Long sands. The house had everything you need and then some. They really thought of everything! Our family of two adults and two teens had a fabulous time. Plenty of room for all. And having a full and half bath was great. We spent some time around the fire pit and hanging on the back deck too! Such a beautiful yard. Thank you for the memories! We hope to visit this house again. Thank you!

Perfect beach house

We had a great time. It’s walking distance to downtown York, Nubble light house, and short sands beach. The living room is perfect to relax and watch tv. I would recommend staying here.

We loved our week at the Nubble Cottage. The house has beautiful gardens and a wonderful back yard with three seating areas including a fire pit. Very comfortable and private. The location was very convenient close to both long and short beaches as well as an easy drive to Rte 1 and attractions. Bonnie is terrific!

Perfect location

This is a very cute house with all we needed as a family of 3. Great location, great deck, great kitchen in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to both beaches and restaurants. We found the stay comfortable. They were very thoughtful to let us in a bit early when a storm rolled in for shelter from the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay at this home. The kitchen was amazing stocked with all the essentials. The gardens are beautiful. Enjoyed relaxing in the back yard in the afternoon on the patio. We enjoyed walking to the beaches and in town, while enjoying a nice quiet, and friendly neighborhood. Can not wait to return to this home in the future.

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

House and property are exactly as advertised. A few minutes’ walk to either Short Sands or Long Sands. Great little private backyard with deck, grill, patio and fire pit for relaxing after a day at the beach! Outdoor shower was a bonus! Nice, quiet residential area.

Summer vacation

We all loved this house. Its in a perfect location and is exactly as described. Owner was very responsive to our questions. We love York Maine and if we decide to come back next year this will be my first choice and would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

Just what we needed

This comfortable, private home was just perfect for our mothers’ and daughters’ weekend away. The outside sitting area choices were perfect for reconnecting throughout the day and the kitchen and living room were just right for playing games in the evening. We all agreed it was just what we needed to feel refreshed and reconnected.

Get away to York beach

This property has everything a family needs. It’s in a prime spot within walking distance to both Long and short Sands beaches. Beds are comfortable and all amenities listed are perfect. Bonnie is very responsive to questions and very helpful. Being from York originally, I feel very confident that anyone will be happy with this property. This home was more than I could have ever expected!! Extremely comfortable and quaint inside. Very clean bathroom, which is an indicator of how clean this home was throughout. The host, Bonnie was extremely courteous and took great strides to make this home comfortable; she was also very responsive when I reached out to her. Also, very close to beaches! There is no doubt I would rent this property again. Thank you Bonnie!!

We had a great week-long stay at this beautiful home. The location was extremely convenient as it was within walking distance to both long and short sands. The home had everything we could ask for, and then some. Tons of kitchen and grilling utensils! The chairs and beach buggy were super helpful in the shed. We loved enjoying coffee under the umbrella on the deck or sitting under the canopy on the patio. Communication with the host was spotty until we exchanged phone numbers, which was great. The only odd thing was when using the outdoor shower, we noticed the neighbors sitting on the deck next to us. It was a little odd that we could make direct eye contact with them as they were not too far away. Besides that, our stay was great!

We had the best 2 week stay! House is very well equipped. I travel frequently and must say this home had everything you would need. Location could not have been better walk easily to both beaches and there was a wagon supplied for easy. Nice touch. The yard was beautiful and great spot to hang with my 4 teenage grandchildren and play games on the deck.Thank you Bonnie for great home away from home

Great place

The place was very clean and walking distance to Short Sands and downtown York. It also has everything you need - well stocked kitchen and towels, etc. Perfect for our girls weekend away!

Great place

We had a short vacation with 4 adults and 2 yr. Old twins. The host was responsive, polite and attentive. The house was just as described, we spend lots of time on the deck and the kids had enough space in the yard to run around! Great place that we would love to visit again!

Great family spot

This place was perfect for our first stay in york, me. It fit us wonderfully and had everything we needed. It was just far enough away but also super close to both beaches. Clean and fully stocked. Owner was quick to respond to any questions. If my family didn't just grow by 2 more feet this week.. we would def stay here again!

We enjoyed the Maine House

We enjoyed our stay in Maine very much. The house was very clean and well equipped. We were a little disappointed that there was no dining room and the kitchen got very hot even with a ceiling fan. We were lucky with the weather and we were able to eat our meals on the back deck in the lovely garden. Overall, it was a great stay.
