A Beary Sweet Magnolia Retreat

Take in the magnificent views from this corner condo located on top floor of one of The Behrens - Waco's most prestigious rental buildings. This two-story loft right in the middle of downtown is walking distance to everywhere you want to go including Magnolia Market, Waco Suspension Bridge, The Dr. Pepper Museum and great restaurants. Furnished with all the best for you and your traveling companions, everyone is sure to enjoy staying indoors as well as exploring our wonderful and friendly town.

This lush space is furnished with all the best amenities including a 55 inch smart Roku TVs with Hulu and Disney + in the living room and both bedrooms, two Amazon Alexa devices, bluetooth sound bar and 3 portable fans equipped with white noise machines just to name a few. Likewise, Behrens members and guests have full access to the building fitness center at no additional charge.

The condo is located in downtown Waco and within walking distance of The Silo District and some of the best restaurants & shopping Waco has to offer. Activities around Baylor University like McLane Stadium, Texas Ranger Hall Of Fame & Museum, Texas Sports Hall Of Fame are easily accessible with a shuttle that picks up just two blocks from the building. If you are bringing children, we highly recommend the Mayborn Museum or the Cameron Park Zoo. We are also only 15 minutes to Waco Surf.

Our condo has everything you need to feel at home. A fully stocked kitchen, coffee makers, new appliances, comfortable beds, cozy living space and a great view of the Silos and downtown Waco.

Entire unit is accessible to guest except for one locked supply closet.

A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access and there are two elevators inside the building. The one to the right as you enter the back door takes you to the 6th floor.

There is a queen murphy bed downstairs. Very easy to use. There is a full bath downstairs as well.

For Coffee - we have a Keurig Duo for which we provide pods, creamers and sweetener.

Games include two deck of cards, Yahtzee and Scrabble.

This is a downtown location. Occasionally you will hear the train two blocks away, the bar (mostly on busy weekends) located behind the Behrens building and other noises associated with a downtown area.

We stayed at this condo for a family wedding in town. What stood out? The condo is beautiful with a lovely view and super clean. The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. One thing to know: if you stay on a Friday and Saturday night and want to sleep between the hours of 10pm-2am, this may not be the place for you. Even with the earplugs and white noise fan provided in our rooms, the music from the bar below may keep you awake. The host was excellent with communication regarding this known issue calling in a noise complaint and noting that the city is in the works to "move the outside band out of downtown."

We had a wonderful stay at this modern downtown condo during our daughter’s Baylor orientation. The space was stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located, making our trip truly enjoyable. The host was exceptional—kind, responsive, and incredibly understanding when we had to leave unexpectedly due to a family loss. They told us not to worry about a thing, which meant the world during such a difficult time. We’re so grateful for their compassion and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We’re originally from Waco and traveled to see family. This condo was immaculate and really comfortable. The owners were very attentive and helpful when we had questions. The location is great with lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

Overall great stay!

We had a great stay! The condo had a great feel and very comfortable. Perfect size for our family. We loved that it was downtown and close to all the sites we wanted to see. The only reason I did 4 stars for location is because it was right next to a bar that was pretty loud till about 3am but it wasn’t a huge inconvenience for us because us & our kids use sound machines. They did provide ear plugs so you can tell they were considerate of the guests staying there. Overall we loved it and we would definitely stay here again!

Bought some way 2 expensive horses!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place! Only thing I was disappointed in was the bar below on Friday and Saturday night kept our kids and my husband and I awake till wee hours. Of course that’s not their fault! It was a college football game weekend! Thought it was strange that there was ear plugs in with the delicious provides snacks! Place was beautiful, clean, and cozy!! Stay here../ unless u can’t handle loud young energy starting around 11pm on weekends! Honestly if our kids weren’t with us…… we would have joined them!

Shhhhhh…

I really don’t want to give this condo such a high rating because I’d really like to keep it my secret, but I can’t in good conscience not tell you how amazing it was. It’s even more beautiful in person and is located perfectly downtown in the middle of all things fun and 5 minutes from Baylor. Had it not been 105 degrees, we would have walked everywhere. I did make the mistake of walking down to the river trail close by and came back down 5 pounds from sweat and decided that car life was for me, but it’s absolutely in the perfect location to walk to the Silos, restaurants and bars when it’s not as hot as the surface of the sun. ;) The property manager was incredibly attentive when we had a couple of questions. My 19 year-old daughter begged me to try to purchase the loft for her to live in while at Baylor (as if), so there’s definitely a cool factor that appeals across age groups! There is typical downtown noise at night, but the owner provided earplugs and white noise, so it really wasn’t noticeable. But if you think that might bother you, then don’t stay…please don’t. Because I want to keep this place to myself! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

So comfortable and convenient!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this very nicely appointed place: they thought of everything! I have never seen such a well-supplied kitchen in a rental, with all manner of cookware & dishes & glasses, plus coffee & snacks! Lots of room to spread out & walking distance to The Silos! Highly recommended!

Great property, great location!

My daughter and I loved our stay at the Beary Sweet Magnolia Retreat. We went to Waco for a girls trip and the condo was just what we needed. It was clean and organized with everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you need if you plan to cook. The host even provides 'makeup' towels to remove makeup! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Waco. We were able to walk to all things Magnolia, the Dr. Pepper museum, and many boutiques.

Better than expected

Everything was just better than advertised. Location was in a great area. Parking and entry to the building was easy. The rental itself was well stocked in anything you would need. Plenty of seating spaces and storage areas for clothes. The beds were comfortable. Communication with the managers was great. I will be staying here again if ever in the area.

Magnolia Weekend

The stay in this condo exceeded our expectations. The location was the deciding factor as my niece planned a weekend “all Magnolia” including the Silos. Location did not disappoint. The condo is spacious and exactly as presented. We enjoyed our stay and have already made a referral recommendation!

Amazing Condo

My stay here was wonderful! Everything was as described. The condo is beautiful and well stocked!! I highly recommend that you stay here the next time you are traveling to Waco!
