The kitchen was clean and had nice cookware and utensils,the entire unit was very clean and had a beautiful view of the pool area and destin pass.

This condo was terrific!! Easy check-in, spacious kitchen, and clean. Plenty of great restaurants and activities nearby. We would definitely like to stay again!

A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING

THE UNIT WAS NICE BUT THE GUEST SERVICES WERE DISAPPOINTING. THE ICE MAKER DID NOT WORK. THE MASTER SHOWER LEAVES A POOL OF WATER IN THE BATHROOM. THE BATHTUB DID NOT FILL WITH WATER. THE FRONT DESK WAS NO HELP WITH ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS.

What a view!

This room has an amazing view of the pool area as well as the waterway. Just gorgeous! The two balconies let in lots of light in the daytime and are breezy enough to sit out there and enjoy the weather.

Great Weekend Experience

The kids and I had the best time. Thank you so much! We will definitely stay here again. Cant beat the view, the pool area, the free boat shutyle to a beautiful beach and the free four beach chairs and umbrella for our family.

Great Condo that lost its best seller

We absolutely loved this condo until it dropped its access to the resort boat shuttle etc.. We were unaware of this at the time of booking. 2nd time stayers. The boat shuttle access is what makes this an awesome condo, now thats gone I will book some where else.

Perfect View

We enjoyed our stay, View was great!! Kitchen could have been better stocked. But went and bought what we needed so all was good. When we arrived the HVAC was leaking into the hallway Condensation line was stopped up. Called the support line in my reservation summary and it was fixed promptly within a couple of hours we were good to go!! Beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

NO BEACH ACCESS AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

We booked a condo at Emerald Grande through Vacasa/VRBO, we were informed at the front desk that we are not allowed beach access since we booked through them. I asked Emerald if we can pay extra for it they said no. I then called Vacasa to see if if we can pay extra for it they also said no and we’re not helpful or accommodating at all. After getting into our room i looked at the description and it does say it at the bottom, so im aware its my mistake but they wont even let us pay for it. I’m aware we can drive to a beach but we payed a significant amount of money to stay here and can’t even use beach access and have some sad kids because the reason we stay here Is to use that beach. This is the 5th time staying here and have never had this happen. Will never rent through Vasasa again.

Nice but no beach access

Location! We are regulars at Emerald Grand and love the location and all the benefits of the resort. Upon check-in we were informed that this specific unit does not pay the fee for beach access. I did not see anything in the description regarding this feature otherwise I would have booked a different unit. Other than that, the unit is nice and clean.

bugs

bugs in both baths and shower door in main bath leaked badly under door. also microwave above stove didnt work which included vent and over stove light. they replaced with a $50 walmart countertop one

Same price as resort charges, without all the resort amenities.

When checking in, we were told, they did not have our reservation in their system. I made phone calls, after learning the owner advertises the condo through vrbo, but uses a company called Vacassa to be the property management. The front desk at this resort told us Vacassa does this often, not putting people into the Reservation system. We were told they operate out of the state of Oregon. What? How can they manage a property that way? I made several calls to Vacassa, after 3 hours of sitting , almost in tears, in the lobby with my family, until we were finally given the keys and ok to use the unit.

Disappointed

I have stayed at the Emerald Grande for the last 15 years, at least once a year sometimes twice. I absolutely love the location, convenience, staff. I always have a wonderful time. This time started out rough for myself and my family. My daughter who is a teenager went into the bunk bed room to find black hairs all over the blankets. It was so much that I believe it had to be an animal. We always get groceries before we check in. I love my coffee and wine on vacation. I found this unit had no Keurig, and no wine opener. One of the many luxuries of Emerald Grande is that you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to, and I never do. Especially with the traffic that you find in Destin. But I found myself heading out to buy a wine opener. This is the one unit I was very disappointed with. The pull out bed was dirty (which is what I was going to put my daughter on because of the bunk bed room dirty sheets. So I found myself doing laundry until midnight because the compact dryer took forever. I did call Vacasa who said they would send someone out, but did not contact me until the next day and she needed somewhere to sleep. The queen size room volume didn’t’ work on the TV. I just felt like too many issues for the amount I paid. The area is beautiful, I always love the Emerald Grande and normally book through VRBO. For future, I will be calling Emerald Grande directly.
