Very nice place to stay

Cottage was comfy and had a nice screened in porch. Lake was very active with boats and water activities. Perfect place to go and just chill. Darryl was easily accessible and gave us tips about the area restaurants.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time at this property! The house is lovely with a beautiful view of the water. The property was clean and in great shape and the owner was very responsive to all communications. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin has lovely lake views that made mornings and evenings especially relaxing, and we enjoyed spending family time gathered around the grill for meals together. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.A couple of small notes: it would be helpful to have signage indicating that the fireplace is out of order, as we initially weren’t sure if it was usable. Also, the bathroom is on the smaller side — those needing extra space to move around should be aware — but it was very clean and functional.Overall, a charming spot to relax and make family memories by the lake. We’d happily return!

Great quiet cottage on Lake Locke

We stayed two nights while visiting our son who is a nearby camper. The cottage is small but has everything one needs. Sandy beach, fire pit, comfortable beds, grill, screened porch. It does have the tiniest bathroom we’ve ever seen but it was clean and functional! Overall a great stay and we would recommend to others!

Simple & Quaint Place, Just Enough

My girl and I along with our small pup stayed here on a last minute lodging change. We were visiting Gilford to see a concern Friday night and spend a few days of R&R. The home sits right on Locke Lake and was neat and clean. We seriously had no complaints at all and the owner Daryl was kind to give us plenty of information including places on where the eat while visiting. Thanks much Daryl.

Beautiful private lake front house

Overall, I was looking for a private, on the water, modern house, and this is exactly that! I am kind of surprised there are no other reviews, so I think I’m the first one. The owner Darrell, is very communicative, the inside is very updated, especially the kitchen with all new appliances and living room/dining room area, the house sits about 15 to 20 feet back from a little private beach area that’s probably 15 or 20 feet wide that comes with a dock and some sand near the water. The outdoor grass/weed/deck area could use a little cleanup and weed whacking and painting, but those are very minor things , the house also has an outdoor Fourseason but fully enclosed and covered deck area with windows that slide open, which is very cool and also has an outdoor deck with patio and grill. To the left through some woods is a private but public beach area for the homes in the area with a swingset and picnic tables and roped off for safety beach/water area and to the right you have a house about 50 feet and you can barely see their dock or their house, the southside everything I was looking for as I am big on privacy as I don’t want to see neighbors lol from way across you could see some really pretty houses. Just be careful voice travels and small sounds gonna go far away lol overall I would definitely stay at this house again, and definitely recommend it, five stars!!!!!
