The house was extremely well appointed with amenities like a hotel. The host was in touch before, during and after the stay with a high attention to detail. The neighborhood was walkable and near the downtown attractions. The holiday decorations were especially nice.

Before our stay, the host gave great communication and made sure we had all the information we needed to start a good stay.When we arrived we were excited to see the location was better than pictured. We were pleased at the decorations they placed for us as this was a Christmas stay. I am thankful that the host went above and beyond to make this a special stay for us. There were plenty of everything we might need. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking and such. Lots of glass wares and other essentials as well.During the snow they even had someone come out and plow and shovel.We are quite pleased with this host and this home. We will definitely consider this location when visiting Rochester again.

Bowling Trip

I felt welcome as soon as I purchsed the stay. The communication from Sophia went above and beyond. Flawless acces to the property and all the amenities made us feel at home. This is our annual trip and when we come back next we will definitely try and get this place again.

Graduation Stay

We were in town for U of R’s graduation and wanted a place the whole family to stay together. South Wedge Gem definitely delivered. The house is spacious, very clean, and offers generous gathering spaces for dining and relaxing. Great location close to U of R as well as tasty South Wedge eateries. Sophia was very accessible and a super welcoming and conscientious host. Recommended!

Great place - clean - close to everything

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great property that is well maintained and very clean. The property owner is very detailed, friendly, and helpful. We will be staying here again when we return to visit our son at RIT. Thank you.

Perfect location- great property!

We stayed at this property for our visit to RIT. From the time of booking to check out, the property owner was amazing- great communication. This was the perfect place for our family to spend the weekend with our Tiger. We loved the extras of snacks and a nicely stocked kitchen. The home has everything you could need…and more.. The beds are all super comfy. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend

A special time with family

We came into town to visit family from out of town for Christmas and Sofia went out of her way to make it a special time for us. We arrived to a house decorated with two trees and, lights and Christmas themes all around. Gifts and toys for the kids to play with, she went all out. It took a huge burden off us as parents to small children to create that Christmas magic while away from home. As a house it was everything advertised and well stocked. I have stayed in VRBO in the past where the host was aggressive in not supplying anything including TP. this was the opposite, a very well stocked kitchen and honestly enough food that we could have delayed shopping for a few days. It was clean and bright, and the neighborhood was fun to explore. Her staff was attentive to a boil water advisory and brought us water without asking and the handy man came to maintain the walks and drive after the snow fell. No one had any complaints; we would definitely Stay again.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to nature (just a short walk to Genesee Riverway Trail), and eateries. Within short driving distance to other restaurants, downtown, Collegetown, and shopping.
