“The Sunfish House” is the perfect beach cottage to spend a week with family and friends. Minutes from all the best things that Murrells Inlet has to offer. 5 minutes by car from Garden City Beach, and only a mile from the Marsh Walk, this home is in the perfect location for everything you need. Take the kayaks for a morning paddle, or ride the bikes to the marsh walk for lunch. If escaping the heat is your preference, relax on the porch at the private bar. This home is perfect for golf trips, weddings, family vacations, or couples getaways. A true Inlet experience that does not get any better than this!

The host was great. The house was a little dated, but clean. Note the 5th bedroom is at street level and not connected to the rest of the house. The location was great.

Our host was so accommodating and responsive to everything! Not only did they provide an opportunity for me to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family, they genuinely cared about our trip, our stay, and our enjoyment. To me that is “Over-the-Top” radical hospitality!! Our property was well kept, cozy and didn’t miss on anything! Location was also key - close to many great golf courses and restaurants; we never drove more than 6 miles in any direction! Two thumbs up and a plethora of High-Fives on our stay!

Rented the house for my family to stay for wedding. Was awesome. House is large and spacious with plenty of room. Hosts were excellent and quick to respond to any inquiries. Beautiful porch and quiet neighborhood

CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS: All guests must check in after 4pm. We do not provide early check in due to guests checking in and out on the same day. - Use the Access Code Provided to unlock the front door - Keys to the sliding doors and the downstairs Mother In Law Suite (same key) are located to the right of the door inside the house.
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: Check out is at 10am. We do not provide late check out for the cleaning crew to have time to thoroughly clean the space.
Strip all the beds and leave the towels / linens in a pile in each room Place dishes in the dishwasher and run them. If you decided to handwash or dishwash during your stay, please make sure to put the dishes back in their places :) Empty the kitchen trash can if it is full! Trashcans located in the front outside of the stone wall to the left. Please pick up any and all trash on the back porch, downstairs bar area, and dock. Put all kayaks, paddle boards, paddles, bikes, saftey gear back in their original locations. Empty the fridge / pantry of all items. Anything left behind will go in the trash! Set thermostats back to 72, turn off the Air conditioning wall unit in the Mother In Law Suite Check all outlets to make sure you are not leaving electronics behind! Turn off all lights when leaving Lock the downstairs Mother in Law Suite / sliding doors on the main level. Put the keys on the holder to the left of the front door. Lock the front door by hitting the "lock" button on the key pad
ACCOMMODATIONS: We provide linens and towels! Please bring your own beach towels. Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash in each bathroom. We do not provide hair dryers, curling irons, etc. The Sunfish house has light cookware, coffee pots, microwave, freezer, fridge, and dishwasher. Laundry is located downstairs (double doors) to the left of the stairs. EV charger for electric and hybrid vehicles located on ground floor. Grill is located on ground floor. We have a boat slip for a small watercraft (John boat, jetski, Boston Whaler Skiff) no more than 20ft in length. The public boat landing is about 2 miles up the road. CAUTION - we live on a tidal creek that varies 6-8ft from low to high tide. You will not have access to the creek below mid-tide. There are two paddle boards, kayaks, and beach cruiser bikes to use during your stay. Helmets, life jackets, and safety equipment provided as well - located in the outdoor shed on the side where the kayaks are.
HOUSE RULES The Sunfish House is located in a residential community. Quiet Hours for the community is 11pm to 7am. Please be respectful of the neighbors that live here year round. No loud music or loud voices during quiet hours. Absolutely NO PETS, NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO EVENTS / PARTIES on the premisis. Please be aware that only a max of 10 guests can fit in our Airbnb :) Also, we do require that all guests (unless children) be over the age of 25! The number of guests that are on the reservation are the only guests allowed on the property. This is a requirement & non negotiable! When entering the house, please remember to take off your shoes / rinse off from the beach beforehand! Sand is inevitable, but guests can help by doing these two things! Please be aware that we are not liable for any risk associated with the water toys / bikes. Use at your own risk. Place Kayaks, bikes, safety equipment, paddle boards, paddles back in their original locations after use. Be conscious of the tidal times when using the paddle boards or kayaks. YOU WILL GET STUCK going out between low and mid tide. Do not jump feet first or dive into the water, there are oyster beds in our section of the inlet. Swim at your own risk. Grill - Please keep grill under covered area. Do not move the grill. Please clean grill after each use. Parking - there is plenty of parking available in the driveway. We allow for a max of 5 cars to be parked here. Inventory - Please do not move or rearrange furniture, with the exception of the trundle beds in the twin room. Please do not take any books, decorative items, linens, or towels. If stolen, you will be charged for missing items. Please remember to LOCK ALL DOORS (front door, both sliding doors, Mother in Law Suite door) when leaving the house at any point during your stay.
