Private Hilltop Estate: Pool, Spa, Bar, Arcade

This beautiful custom home is the perfect fit for families coming together. From lounging poolside with a cold beverage to a friendly competition in the ARCADE or Game Room, there are endless activities to keep everyone entertained. Private hilltop estate with 360-degree views of mountains, hills, lakes, city views, and sunsets. Truly, a private oasis.

The Space:
The house is over 4,300 sq. ft. with 4 large bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom and balcony/patio. The Master bedroom is downstairs with a private entrance, spacious bathroom, walk-in closet, jet tub, and a unique cave-like shower. The 4th bedroom is a large mother-in-law suite that is situated upstairs with a private entrance, kitchenette, living space, and balcony. Optional 5th bedroom with working office space which includes dual monitors, printer, futon, and balcony.

Guest Access:
Plenty of parking is available and can easily accommodate parking for guests.

Other Things to Note:
With frequent spotting of hawks, roadrunners, quail, bunnies, reptiles, coyotes, and more, makes this property your own private nature preserve.

Less than 1/2 hour from major San Diego attractions.

Family Getaway

We had our family and friends yearly getaway and this beautiful home was part of our excitement! Great host, always made and effort to make sure all was well! The accommodations were very comfortable. We had 10 adults and 3 toddlers! Great access. Very grateful!!!

Best house rental ever

Tanya and Jeff have the greatest home. We had a big group of friends who made use of the property, had an incredible time, and all easily said that this was the best house we could imagine. 25 minutes from the city, less than that to many golf courses, and so many activities to do on the property. I 100000% recommend this house to any groups of families or friends looking!

Great place and hosts!!!

Tanya and Jeff were great hosts! Great communication, very clear check in and check out steps and the property exceeded our expectations. Had plenty of everything we needed for our group of 12, ie towels, fridge space, bedding, cooking and eating supplies. It was great! The property is awesome too. Great view, lots of activities to do or just relax. We loved it and would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Thanks again for everything!

Don’t miss it

This place is quite memorable. We had 12 people in our group and we had plenty of room to be comfortable. The was so much to keep everyone busy. The view from the pool was great. I have to say that the Arcade room was a giant hit for the young ones and a few of the adults too. Tanya, the owner, was always very quick to respond with any needs or questions we had. Don’t miss out on this place!

Amazing house for a large group

This house was perfect for our thanksgiving group of 12. There’s so much to do, from the pool and hot tub, the arcade, karaoke and other games. The layout of the house, both inside and out, offered lots of areas to gather or to get some privacy if needed. The kitchen and bar area were well stocked and we had everything we needed to make thanksgiving dinner. Communication with Tanya and Jeff was easy and thorough. They told us to make ourselves at home and the house made that easy to do! We would absolutely stay here again.

Fun and Family

Our 4-family, 3-generation group of 15 (8 adults & 7 kids) had the greatest time at this property. The clean, spacious home and multiple outdoor areas provided hours of fun for all. The hosts supplied all the comforts anyone could want and were very helpful and accessible – even offering to order pizza when our travel plans were delayed. We visited the San Diego attractions that were close by, but the grandkids couldn’t wait each day to return “home” to the pool and arcade. Those of us who had to work found quiet places and fast internet connectivity. This vacation home had something for everyone and will be very hard to top!

Spectacular Views

Our family stayed at the Tavern for our daughter's graduation from SDSU for about 5 days. From check-in to check-out was 5 STARS across the board!! Tanya was truly amazing to work with, from heating the pool to a PERFECT temp, to responding to our questions via text or call right away. At the Tavern there is something for all ages, you can sit and dip your feet in the shady shallow end of the pool, grab a refreshing drink at the indoor/outdoor bar, play a little game of Jenga, or play a quick game of football in grassy yard area the Tavern has it all. Our family had a wonderful time. We will definitely be staying at the Tavern when in SD again. Blessings to Jeff & Tanya :) Dena C.

Incredible home on the hill.

This property was amazing. It was incredibly well thought out. It had everything you could possibly need. All of the kitchen items were clearly labeled making everything so easy to find. The kids loved the arcade we couldn't get them out of there. The adults loved the karaoke machine, maybe a little too much. The pool is perfect and the views were spectacular. My whole family said it was one of the best experiences they have had at a vacation rental. This place was so fun. The owners were very responsive and helpful answering all of our questions immediately. I would like to sincerely thank them for the incredible stay we had.

A healing paradise! Inside and Out

There should be a special catagory for homes like this and the abilty to add a star cause i haver never stayed anywhere that has been so magical. 12 teens and 2 adults and frienships were made, healed, continued and bonds were forged. The homeowners were avail for questions and any concerns were respond to within minutes. Just great people. There isnt a bad thing i could think of but if i was to make wish it would be an espresso machine cause with all those kids they ran me onto the ground..... Thanks again for an amazing stay. 6 stars 🌟 all the way!!!
