Nuestro hermoso condominio de casas adosadas "PENTHOUSE" ha sido diseñado con 1722 pies cuadrados con su comodidad en mente. Algunas de las comodidades son pisos de mármol, aire acondicionado de 5 toneladas, ventiladores de techo, centro de entretenimiento incorporado con TV de plasma de 50 pulgadas, encimeras de granito y tocadores, y techos de 10 'en todas partes. Ambas habitaciones grandes están equipadas con camas king size y televisores de plasma. Great Spring Break!

We loved the stay at Ocean Homes in Puerto Morelos. The Condo surpassed our expectations. The host was very quick to reply and left us a nice fruit basket and pastries. The views were great. The kids loved swimming at the pool. 5 stars and would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the laid back small town beach vibes of Puerto Morelos.

Wonderful Place!!

We loved every minute at this place! It was beautiful and perfect. the only reason I left off one star on location is it is a tiny bit further from town from other places we have stayed at, but it is by far the nicest place we have stayed in in this area!!

The moment we arrived everything was 100%; from the check in to the the beautiful condo. I have stayed at many condos in the past number of years, but this place and location was amazing. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony in the morning was also beautiful. I am a definite return customer.

Penthouse is nice, but not luxury, management is responsive

We go to Mexico a lot and have even been to Ocean Homes before so it was as expected. A "luxury penthouse" denotes "luxury," but it's really just the top floor of a condo. (Things like a big hole in the bathroom covered up with plastic aren't luxury.) For a top-floor condo in Mexico it's adequate. The pictures are correct and it is in front of the sea. Ocean homes is a nice tranquil facility. It's walking to everything you want to do in Puerto Morelos and yet far enough away that you are not near the noisy parts of town. The facilities in the house were good. A good amount of cups and glasses and bottled water. (They were missing laundry soap). It's a bummer there is no shade on the terrace so you can't use it most of the day. The toilet in the master suite did not work for one of the nights. We got a hold of the host right away and he suggested we just flush it using buckets of water, which didn't seem like an appropriate response. However, we were able to get a hold of the building manager Ramon (RAMON IS AMAZING) he couldn't fix it that night (they didn't have the part) but had someone come first thing in the morning to fix it. The sliding doors and some windows don't close. It's not a safety issue I don't think as they are the ones that face the sea, but as a result, you get a wind whipping through the apartment that causes the internal doors to bang all night. This could be fixed with just a seal between the door and the walls or you can put a sock in it like we did (LOL). There was a little unexpected upfront hassle. We had to pay for insurance ~$60 USD and there were rules we had to sign before we could gain access to the apartment. There was no easy way for us to get a signature for them as they did not use DocuSign or an online vendor so we had to find a printer and print and scan. On balance, I think it was an as-expected experience (sans the toilet issues) and the location could not be better.

Good location, great beach

Wonderful hosts, spectacular views, comfortable condo. It has everything you need, and is a reasonable walk to town, 10 to 15 minutes top or a 30 peso cab ride. The tropics are tough on metal, as a result some of the fixtures are showing their age, but don’t be put off by that it’s just the salt air. The views and breezes are spectacular. There was pretty much always a pleasant breeze.

Great location for laid back beach relaxation

Easy to get to/from Cancun airport if you want some local flavor. Found many US/Canadian extended stay people who provided us with food and transportation ideas. Great place if you are looking for luxury place to stay within a local Mexican setting.

Beautiful!

This condo exceeded our expectations. Tall ceilings, perfect appointments and amazing sea views greet you as you enter, the gleaming marble floors reflect the frigate birds as they wheel overhead. This is the spot for a fab vacation. The grounds are groomed and flower filled. We love the pool, too, of course. Town is an easy stroll away, by beach or by road. We will surely stay here again, as soon as possible! Many thanks to Bobby and Ramon.

Puerto Morelos Paradise

This apartment is extremely luxurious along with the pool and beach areas. Ramon and his workers and Rosie the cleaner are very efficient but also so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and it is only a 10 minute walk along the road or the beach to the town square. We felt safe at all times and we are counting down the days until we can return to this gorgeous apartment hopefully in the very near future.

Great condo in a wonderful location

The condo was perfect, large, clean, nicely appointed, and close enough to downtown Puerto Morelos that you could easily walk to the restaurants. The complex is not overly large but had a big pool. If we had questions or needed extra water someone was available to deal with it quickly.

Wonderful home away from home

If you are considering staying here - you cannot go wrong!! It is in the best location in this little fishing village. A short walk into town and you find friendly people and tasty restaurants at very affordable prices. I stayed in one of these condos for almost an entire month with various family members coming for shorter stays. My whole family loved this place. The management were responsive to any of my requests, cleaning, more water. At one point one of the workers even purchased fresh fruit from the local fruit truck for me as I was out exploring when it arrived. Everyone was so friendly and it is so safe here I can see why it is a safely guarded secret. Well, now you know - so go. You will not regret it!! The views from the condo are superb and I will miss the sunrises. Until next time... I wish I could give more stars - it deserves it!

Location Location

The location is fabulous, steps to the beach and an easy walk into town. The condo is very spacious with gorgeous views of the ocean, however... The condo itself is slightly rundown and it needs a thorough cleaning. It was disconcerting to have the beautiful floors marred by spilled coffee, or the kitchen cupboards and drawers wearing the previous renters marks, drips and spills. The kitchen contains the basics but missing some of the expected items such as a wine opener. During our stay we had a challenge with the doors. The front door would not open with the key provided and although Bobby was quick to send help it was never fixed. Instead we used the side door located through the laundry room which had the musty smell due to dampness and the humidity. We never could open the sliding door in the dining room and gave up after repeated tries. The condo has a large roof top deck with amazing views of the ocean which would appeal to anyone. Unfortunately there is not a chair to sit on to admire the views. Back to the problem of the doors, opening the sliding door to the roof top deck took a lot of muscle and we could only open enough to pass through. But at least it opened! The blinds to the windows were stiff and slightly unyielding. On the first day of our stay after trying to pull the blinds a slat fell loose. As with sliding door we gave up trying to close the blinds. The bedrooms were large with ensuite bathrooms and the beds were really comfortable. Perfect! Finally thank you to Bobby for his responsiveness and long distance hospitality. With a little TLC, this condo would be a lovely place for a family to rent, as a perch to enjoy the beaches of Puerto Morelos.

Amazing view

This was by far one of the best place I stayed in Puerto Morelos. Great location, amazing view, spacious condo, modern, clean and well maintain. Great service from Bobby and the people on site. The only issue was the Internet Connection who was down most of the time but can’t complain with the view we had. Thanks Bobby I will for sure come back.

Spent a week

Two couples spent a week and loved it - wanted to reserve the same condo for 3 weeks next year but a couple from Canada that was staying above us beat us to the punch so we reserved the one next door - great place, great access to beach and to Ono Bar on beach - we love vacationing here and had stayed elsewhere but found this one a loved it - we have friends staying a couple of doors down and they've been going for years - definitely recommend

"Star Wars" Ocean Homes condo was Out of This World!

Just came back from relaxing vaca at Ocean Homes (Star Wars) condos. Rented 3 BR - dealing with the owner was easy and seamless. Ramon (on site manager) and staff v accommodating once we arrived. V safe, clean, stylish, roomy and well equipped. Pool large enough for swimming and well maintained (would love nighttime lights, tho!) Location can't be beat - a ten minute walk on beach or quiet street to the village of Puerto Morelos - far enough to avoid crowds and close enough to stroll over for lunch or dinner at one of several casual but delicious dining options. (Really enjoyed La Pirate, La Terrazza & La Casa del Farito on the beach.) Massage right under the stairs (Luisa!) and Unico beach bar (Claudia, Christian, Miguel and Shane!) were perfect for midday indulgences. Beach is clear, wide, long, well marked for swimming and with the reef visible in the distance, close to dive areas and what makes Puerto such a great place to visit. Loved Wet Set dive shop for underwater excursions - otherwise, we enjoyed staying close to home and all the amenities Ocean Homes provided. Highly rec!

A Month in Paradise

We have just returned from a wonderful month's experience in Puerto Morelos and Ocean Homes. First of all we want to thank Bob, Ramon, Alma, Marilyn and the rest of the staff for making Ocean Homes "our home away from home." In previous years we did the "all inclusive" resort, which was wonderful, however staying in Puerto Morelos for a month we found out first hand what it is to be "a local." It was more than what we could have ever expected. The condos, given the opportunity to experience both the 3rd and main floors, are well equipped, clean and more than spacious. At times there were 4 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Everything worked and if it didn't the staff were on it right away and things were rectified immediately. It was so nice to come home with clean clothes having laundry facilities right in the condo. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful plants and flowers throughout. The pool is wonderful. With Greg's handicap he was able to go in the pool on his own to swim and get his daily exercise. The concrete area allowed him to get around with ease and the beach is fabulous, clean and maintained on a regular basis. How can that big body of water be sooooo warm!!!! Ocean Homes is in a perfect location in the village of Puerto Morelos. We did the Costco in Cancun trip once (yes the Cdn Costco card works) and the rest of the time we were able to easily walk to Town Square in the village to get any supplies. It is close enough to the village but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests in the complex. We've made some new friends and hope we can all be together again in the future. It was nice to hear that most guests were returning for their 2nd or 3rd time. There was some construction going on in the area but we didn't mind as it is all for the better and the new decks look great. The restaurants in the village are all wonderful, Cantina Habeneros was exceptional, it is a place "where they really make you feel like a local!" The only thing we could think of missing in the village was a fresh meat store (ie. steaks). The fruits and vegetables couldn't have been more fresh. We loved learning about the village and its people and look forward to spending many more years at Ocean Homes and PM and hopefully more friends and family will join us so they get to experience all that we have.
