Memorial weekend getaway

We reserved this condo because it was on the beach, and I needed a little salt water therapy. This condo was ocean view. But it was perfect for me and my husband. No crowded beach, a clean pool, a quiet room, and a comfortable bed! The furniture was great, and we had no issues all weekend. If anything, it needs a little rug at the front door and one at the balcony, because of sand. We will be back, and I would love prices on the bigger condos for family trips!

This one could use an update

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 402 and while it was ok, it could use a few updates. The shower controls are very dated and the type where the hot turns one way and the cold the opposite way. My wife almost scalded herself when she tried to turn them off and only the cold turned off. I think with a few little updates it could be a great little place. A few suggestions, shorter curtains in the bedroom. The current ones block the airflow of the AC unit. And put a few hooks on the balcony to hang towels and/or swim trunks to dry.

Jimmy is well is the other office staff are very helpful and will address any issues we have. It was a lovely condo on the fourth floor watching beautiful sunsets and sunrises was awesome. The pools were fabulous and the restaurant by the pool was truly a nice addition.

It’s ok but don’t recommend

The location to restaurants/activities and the beach was amazing! However, you can tell there is not much up keep. When we first arrived, the comforter had multiple stains and the sheets had hair all over it. Luckily we had brought our own blankets and pillows. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRINING YOUR OWN SHEETS/PILLOWS/BLANKETS. The bed is also extremely uncomfortable- we ended up leaving a night early to get a good nights sleep before the long drive home. Honestly, you get what you pay for.

It had two window air conditioners that were old and loud. In the pictures, it looks like you have access to two big pools and a beach bar and restrooms. Nope, those are for the Hilton next door. You have a very small pool with four umbrellas in the back of the building. The furniture in the living room was very old and ran down. It said you could not check in until 4:00 but they were only open until 5:30. Very small window to check in. Our WIFI never did work, we called and explained that it wouldn't work and they said they would send someone to fix it. He did come and left a note saying that he would be back later to get it done. He never returned. Our daughters called ahead and asked if they could have some things put in our room for our anniversary and the lady was kind of rude and said, "we don't do that". I was just not really impressed at all with the whole place. I know you get what you pay for, but I would have thought with it being on the beach like that, that it would have been a lot nicer.

The property itself was ok. It was dated but it didn’t matter as I was looking for something on the beach. The reason this review isn’t as high is because of the management company. If I’m paying dearly for them to manage it, I would expect communication as to check-in and out procedures and I received nothing and had to email them to know how to get the key, etc. I had also asked a question before we left about the room and was given misinformation. I can’t review the owner because I didn’t hear back from them when I emailed a question…perhaps they didn’t receive but I noticed other reviews talked about them. Overall, it was a place off the beach which is what I wanted. It rained every day so didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth about Hilton Head. Lastly, there was not enough parking at the facility.

And notable dust on the clock and lamp in the bedroom. The pillows that went on the bed were under the bed.

Great location

One thing I look for when renting a place like this is outdoor space. The balcony view of the beach was marvelous. The place was clean and well stocked. Couch was very comfortable. I would stay again.
