Cozy comfortable

My husband and I went for our 10 year anniversary. We enjoyed our stay the rental had everything we needed and more and convince to shops and restaurants. We would rent again absolutely.

Plenty of room for air mattresses if needed. Having 3 full bathrooms was fantastic. We walked to town always. And we were very convenient to all the attractions. We loved our stay!

Comfortable Condo

Reviewer Comments: This condo was large, spread out over 3 floors, each floor having a bedroom and a bathroom among other rooms. I would stay again, however I would suggest a lot less personal effects. There were too many personal photos, 4 of them framed and on display on the dresser in the bedroom that I used. Nice to see, but they took up space that I could of used. It was like this all over the condo. Yes, we know you are a Brown graduate, yes we know, well, way to much about you and your family. A bit personal for me. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could ever want in a kitchen. But by doing so, there is not a single cabinet to store our food in, such as snacks, cereals, etc. One should be left empty for quests use. Every surface had a knicknack or a photo on it, even the coffee table. I felt like I was staying in someone's home, not in a vacation rental. But they were very generous with having plenty of paper products for use, dish detergent, and a special welcome gift. Much appreciated.

Very cluttered

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always love renting with Loon Reservations. They are outstanding! The unit I rented was not. The condo was large and the bedrooms were placed away from each other which was nice for our family. However the condo is filled with knick knacks, vases, and decorations. Like, completely filled. It would absolutely not be an appropriate rental for families with young children. It was also hard to tell which items were family heirlooms and which were now. It was nerve wracking being in there. Every single surface has some sort of decorative ornament on it. We had to move large glass items off the table in the basement just to use it. The basement was situated nicely otherwise but it had a very unpleasant damp smell. The home also had many family photos which was fine but paired with the ridiculous amount of stuff in the condo it did not seem like the owners were prepared to rent. Have rented many units at Alpine and will not rent here again.

Good location for exploring White Mountain

There were some negative reviews about this condo being overcrowded with personal items but we found felt that the decor made it feel more like staying with a friend and less like an impersonal hotel room (that many rentals seem to feel like). That being said we did have a few issues. We arrived just after dark after a long day on the road to find an alarm was going off (about once per minute). Thinking it was a low battery indicator for a smoke alarm we checked for that first only to find the smoke alarm taken down and disabled (apparently the cleaning crew thought the same thing???). We called the number given and left a message about the problem, luckily we got a quick call back and a maintenance person came to address to problem. He took down a security alarm that had a low battery causing the deeps and upon request put back up the smoke detector. We loved each couple having there own bathroom but were very lucky that we only had 2 couples staying because when we went to check out the lower level the smell was awful. For a finished, walk out basement it had a terrible musty smell. Someone had started a dehumidifier to help with the overwhelming smell but it was so bad no one would have been able to sleep there. Even when we left a few days later it still smelled terrible. I hope this problem is/was fixed before a renter needs all of the space listed in the description. Another positive would be the wonderfully stocked kitchen. It had anything you could need.

Close to so many restaurants, stores, and things to do. As most other reviews have said, there is too many personal items around the place making it a little difficult to put your own items somewhere during your stay but it certainly isn't a big enough problem for us to not want to stay there again. We will definitely be back!

Over stuffed Condo

Reviewer Comments: While the property was nice by itself, I felt the contents( furniture ) inside the Condo were too much given its size - we had to be careful not to hurt ourselves just by running into a table or a nightstand. The sofas inside the Condo were pretty much useless, they had become soggy and are impossible to sit on. Everything looks great for aesthetics, but when it comes to using any of the facilities, it has been tough.I have always enjoyed booking through Loon condo connection, but not so much this time.

North Woodstock - Real Find

The check-in was flawless, communications with Loon were quick and easy, and the property was even better than described. 3 levels that seemed like individual apartments with a bedroom and bathroom on each level, 2 large living rooms and 1 smaller sitting area. The only negative was receiving a multi-page lease agreement after the stay was paid for and confirmed on airbnb. This lease document should be part of the reservation process before payment is confirmed. I signed the document, but it was the type that you would sign if you were moving in to a residence for a long-term period.That said, I highly recommend Loon and this unit #84 in particular. The location is exceptional for exploring the area. You can also walk into town for a few restaurants and drive a short 10 minutes to Lincoln for lots more choices.

Great location

Property was clean and perfect for our group, with three separate levels. My wife and I on lower level, my brother and his wife (who has mobility issues) on the first floor and a cousin on the third level. It was great having a full bathroom on all three levels. The only issues were there were many throw rugs that made it difficult for elderly people. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was OK . . .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a quiet location in a well-kept complex. It was pretty well equipped and met our needs as a base for summer-time road trips around central New Hampshire. Part of the living room curtains were on the floor when we arrived. Not a great introduction. We were able to fix it easily but have no idea why the housekeeping staff might do that. The condo was otherwise well cleaned. Unlike some properties that are intended primarily for rental, this one seems like the owner's home. There's a lifetime's collection of memorabilia in there which makes it feel cozy, but cluttered. If that's your style, you'll like this. This property is air conditioned, which can be important if you're staying during a heat wave. As is probably typical of properties of this age, it is not central air. There is a window unit on the main floor and that area was pretty comfortable. However, the upstairs bedroom stayed pretty warm and the basement stayed very cold. This may have been our error, but we never found a way to get all three levels comfortable.One caution, especially if you are bringing small children. Water temperature in the showers is really sensitive to water use elsewhere in the house. Turning on a faucet or flushing a toilet anywhere in the house makes the shower water instantly scalding hot.

Very beautiful location, quite and friendly neighborhood. I couldn't figure out the cable in the media room and the wifi wasn't secure, other than that it was perfect for a two month stay.

I have stayed there before and have also stayed at the Nordic, Deer Park, and one of those resorts on the mountain across from the games. This place is the best, and the CLEANEST.
