The dining table seats 2. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The view from the 2nd floor onto the ocean was amazing. You could sit on the balcony and read a book with the waves crashing in the background. The location was fantastic with less than a 5 minute walk to stores and restaurants. The only downside we had was that the bed was quite hard.

Close to stuff

It was very close to Colgny Plaza and the beach. We had a wonderful view from our room and a table set to enjoy. The only down side was the bathroom is so small.

Fun time at the beach

We had a very nice time at the beach. The location is perfect! Once we arrived we didnt have to take the car out very often as everything we needed/wanted was right there. The rooms even for just two people are very small though. The

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth time to HHI and our third time staying at Breakers. This particular unit was perfect! It's very clean and beautifully decorated. Even though the units at Breakers are small, they are perfect for couples, and in 212 they really maximized the space in the bathroom with built in shelves. Island Time was absolutely perfect. They provided excellent communication, even checking in on us to make sure we got checked in and that everything was good. One night we accidentally locked ourselves out on the balcony (totally the hubby's fault! LOL), and with a quick call they had us back in the unit within five minutes. I will 100% book through Island Time again. They more than exceeded our expectations!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think the overall location and quality of the room was very very good. Everything was absolutely perfect. For 2 days, the WiFi did not work and the AC even went out and started leaking water all over my belongings. Again, everything else was perfect besides these two things, but in the middle of August having lousy AC is unacceptable.

We loved the table for meals out there and the small couch for lounging. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for a short stay, the bed was great compared to others! The bathroom towels were ready and the washer and dryer were a huge convenience. The AC worked great all week along with the ceiling fans, it was a hot one while we were in and that was refreshing. My only complaint is only one elevator was working and it was on the opposite side of the complex and we didn’t have the gate code for access to and from the pool/beach. Otherwise the location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants.

Good stay except for thermostat

My husband and I have been coming to Hilton head Island for over 20 years. We almost always stay at the Breaker's. Great location, nice beach, and small complex so not overly busy. This is the first time we stayed in unit 212. Although the unit was nicely updated, the thermostat was locked out so that you could only adjust the temperature for four hours at a time and then it would default to 75°. This is not really ok when you’re staying at the beach, and you come back from a day in the sun and it’s 75 degrees in the unit. I also woke up hot every night at about 4am for the very same reason, and had to reset the thermostat to be below 75°. I understand that cooling the unit is probably very expensive. But it’s also expensive to rent a unit for a week and I should be able to be cool and comfortable.

Great Location!

Clean, well-equipped condo in a wonderful location. Close to everything in Coligny area, on the beach, had a great stay. The building/development is somewhat older but things are in good shape.

And wifi login instructions in condo were different from what office told us & different yet from what we finally got to work.

very frustrating

lots of trouble navigating on line. I've used VRBo for yrs and had no trouble. Looks like on line is more confusing and complicated now! I tried to find a real human to call and ask ? talked to several agents or robots who could not help me. chat room w/ cut me off on time limit as I was tryiing to explain what I needed.L Finally someone told me the property was now under Island Time at Hilton Head. WHen I tried to contact them or any help still did not get human. Needed door code and check in proceedure. finally was able to get someone who could help me. got a phone # by checking other property owne r. she gave me direct # for VRBo Very late to be giving check in ---agent I finally got was very helpful. Breakers unit was decorated well but a little too much clutter. Also bed and sofas are not very comfortable. more supplies needed in kitchen--no spatula, need written infor re: how to adjust thermostat and tv, remotes etc. very crowded in bath but know you can't do anything abt that. all in all enjoyed the beach inspite of weather Would not rent this unit again. all experiences needed a human and welcoming touch.

Great Condo for Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this condo for a virtual conference. When I arrived it was very clean and nicely decorated. The condo is a bit small, but great for a person vacation or getaway. The balcony was the best part. Perfect views of the beach, privacy walls, nice high top chairs and table. Was absolutely perfect for the morning conference sessions to sit out with a cup of coffee and enjoy the sunrise and beach goers. The proximity to the beach, restaurants and activities on the island was perfect. Either walk across the road to coligny, or no more than 10-15 min drive to the north side of the island. We went to the tiki hut a few nights as it was just a very short walk on the beach from the condo. Overall, a fantastic beachfront location for a couple!

Great vacation

The property was nice and clean, not a lot of noise around so it was nice and quite, beautiful views from the balcony of the second floor, close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing against the sand and the foliage between the complex and the beach was pretty with palm trees and other plant life, we could hear the frogs and crickets plus the waves from the ocean which was very peaceful and calming, had an issue with the ac breaking one night we stayed but it was fixed within a few hours after making a few calls, great response time from the property manager and everyone else involved, the night crew that kept watch over the property were very cool with a great sense of humor and made us feel good when staying there, one guy in particular that works at the breakers residence we stayed at was very nice and a great guy to talk to, his name was josh, very cool and lay back guy with a awesome personality, he recommended many places for me and my girlfriend to visit while we were there so i give him 5 stars on his services while we were there, the night life was great a very mature crowd for the most part which was nice, not a lot of rowdy people causing trouble so it was a great stay, will definitely be concerning staying here again next year, thank you for the amazing vacation!
