Two minute walk to town of Lake Luzerne or two wonderful public beaches. Public tennis/basketball court less then a minute walk away.

The house was very clean I was very impressed with all the dishes,pots and pans and utensils that we were able to use. Very pleased with the bed it was comfortable. We were very happy to have a tv in the bedroom. The backyard was the best . The scenery was unbelievable. We loved how close we were to so many trails to take our dog for a walk on she loved them all. This was a great place to stay

Very clean, conveniently located near Lake Luzerne and just 17 minute drive to Lake George. Loved the creek crossing the backyard, the hot tub and grille.

There were no extras included, for example, lack of basic spices made cooking difficult, no extra trash bags,etc.

Great location, an easy walk to the lake beach, right on a beautiful stream, and next-door to a lovely town park with a beautiful nature path on the other side of the stream. There is a deck, patio and yard to enjoy the outdoor space. Very close to a small grocery store. Check in and check out was very easy. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need. The beds were comfortable. There was dish soap and a sponge in the kitchen, and detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, but no hand soap in the bathrooms. That would be my only suggestion for improvement. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

This is the perfect place to stay with a family and a pet! You're close to everything but still have privacy, I can't wait to stay again! Only suggestion would be to get a better lock for the back door. Although we felt safe it may make others feel uncomfortable and we couldn't get the downstairs AC split unit to come on but for us it wasn't needed but if we stayed with others it would be nice to have aviailable.

The Master Bathroom had problems. The shower head disconnected from outlet while taking shower. Place needs flashlight available when electricity goes off. The power went off for an hour during out stay. Also a bee came in and there wasn't a fly swatter available to get rid of it.

Lovely house with nice views of the creek. House was well stocked and the kids loved the basement. The privacy was perfect and super close to the beach as well as the Lake George strip. If i had to make recommendations it would be to put travel soaps in the bathrooms and put a handle on the inside of the master bedroom barn door. Also wish we knew about the fully stocked board game drawer that i just happened to open by chance as a final walkthrough. Esp with 3 kids wouldve loved that instead of watching tv at night. Overall a fantastic stay.

The property was clean, neat, and pet-friendly, ideal for our group of four adults and one dog. The location -- one block from the beach on Lake Luzerne -- was the best part.

I thought the property was great. Very clean. The only thing was that the back door (slider) only had a chain no other lock, that was a little uncomfortable with just women staying there. I would rent there again.

Wedding getaway

I liked it very much, the house was very nice and nicely decorated. Everything was there even washer and dryer. The view was so excellent and if it was warmer weather would have enjoyed sitting on deck overlooking the water. Location great, near markets, etc. I would rent again. Jan

Great Pet-Friendly Property

We enjoyed our week stay with our family and 2 small dogs. Local beach is a convenient walk. Location is also convenient to Lake George attractions - we made the drive almost every day. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Hidden oasis

Everything was great. Updates to interior very fresh. Cleanliness was great. Looks can be deceiving though. From the front looks nice but appears to be in the middle of everything. Then you step into the back yard! Unbelievable! Beautiful! Serene! The water, wildlife, and property are wonderful. Very picturesque. Hit tub a bonus. Property manager was responsive and a pleasure to work with. Close to Lake George without the crushing crowds. Close to anything you’d need. Groceries. Dinning. And more. Easy recommendation. Will be back.

Making memories

First the couple issues. The sliding door needs to be addressed asap. The air condition in the master bedroom needs a good cleaning. The book provided said there was to be two extra rolls of tp under the sinks, not provided. Apart from those issues the house is outstanding, nice layout, comfortable beds, good kitchen utensils for use. The owner rep was quick to respond to any questions we had through the VRBO app. The area is fantastic. Close to the Lake George attractions but far enough that you are not bothered by the traffic in the area. Several waterfalls in the walking area to provide great views. Check out the local Revolution Rail company only minutes from the house. Lake Luzerne provides a small secluded beach just a walk away. We even had a visit from a doe and her fawn during our stay. They crossed the brook in the back while using the hot tub. Bottom line is absolutely yes we would stay here again.

Great weekend place for family

Nice and clean. Open concept that allowed for family to be all together and relax. Nice deck overlooking stream. We enjoyed our stay.

Our Stay

Generally, we quite enjoyed our stay at Lake Luzerne. The cottage was clean, spacious and very close to the lake. We have 2 comments which are: 1) Clearly indicate what is included and what is not included so it is easier to prepare. 2) Strongly recommend repairing the sliding door so it locks properly. Using a chain to secure the door is not adequate.

Cozy, up to date cottage wirh creek and lovely lawn

This property has so much to appreciate, especially its location: a wonderful creek edges the bak lawn and a beach is a short walk away. The welcoming great room is perfectly comfortable, the kitchen was roomy for several people to be working in together, a big deck with good table seating overlooks the back yard and the creek, the beds were comfortable, two bathrooms accommodated us easily, lots of kitchen utensils, very lovely decor, a hot tub air conditioning. .all in all, just about perfect.
