HeartWind Cottage -Quaint, newly renovated with private pool, steps to the beach

HeartWind is a quaint and charming cottage which was extensively renovated and redecorated in 2024. It's in a spectacular location south of 30a just a very short walk to the beach! We are also right by picturesque Eastern Lake, a popular place for kayaking. Kayak rentals are close by if you're ready for an adventure.
Our cottage sits on a large fully fenced private lot with a sparkling heated swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees and vegetation.
When you walk inside HeartWind you are greeted with pretty beach decor in an open concept living room, kitchen and dining room with vaulted ceilings. Just off the dining room is a beautiful porch where you can enjoy relaxing after a day at the beach and also enjoy outdoor dining. The living room has a brand new comfy sectional couch and a HDTV.
Our bungalow has 3 bedrooms; the master bedroom has an en suite with a shower, and HDTV, and we also have a queen bedroom and a cute bunk room for the kids. The main bathroom has a combination tub shower.
We think the best thing about our beach cottage is the close proximity to one of the most spectacular beaches in the world! San Roy Road and Sugar Dunes Beach access's are steps away. You can access both the beach at Eastern Lake and the Gulf Beach from the San Roy beach access.
We are also only 1.5 miles from Deer Lake State Park where you can experince a beautiful scenic walk across the dunes to another spectacular beach area.
We have a beach cart, beach umbrella and four beach chairs for you to use. All you need to do is bring your beach towels and sunscreen.
We are pleased to welcome dogs under 20 lbs. A pet fee of $175 will be added at the time of booking.
Pool heating fee of $250 can also be added to the reservationon on request.

Great beach house

Close walk to the beach, awesome pool, walking distance to a great seafood restaurant and also other smaller shops . We would stay here again in a heartbeat

A Great Getaway!

We have grown up coming to 30a and love staying in the eastern lake area of Seagrove. We wanted a quick getaway for a babymoon and the cottage was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and cozy. It’s also an easy walk to the beach, and the pool is a great added bonus!

Wonderful property

Our experience at Heartwind Cottage was fantastic! Communication with the owners was effortless, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was impeccably clean, and the backyard pool provided a perfect retreat when the Gulf was too rough. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful—a wonderful escape. We highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway!

Great Week in Santa Rosa Beach

This place was amazing for our vacation with friends and our young baby girls! Michelle and Gord are awesome hosts and were quick to respond on anything we needed! The pool is a great place to hang out and a short walk to white sandy beaches! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place!

We had an amazing time staying at this awesome property! Beautiful pool and very quick walk to the beach. House has everything you may need including a beach cart. I have rented from Michelle and Gord multiple times and have always been pleased with my stay. Would recommend.

My family enjoyed our week's stay at HeartWind Cottage. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was nice after a day at the beach. The owners are very responsive to any needs that arise. Nice location on 30A but off the main road and away from traffic. Thanks for a great week!

Cozy Beach House

We had a wonderful week here with 4 adults and 1 child. We walked to the beach every morning and enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. The shallow end of the pool was perfect for our 3.5 year old! The backyard was lovely and private. The house was nicely decorated and worked well for our family. We would stay again.

Fantastic Vacation House

House and pool were perfect for a week long beach trip. Owners were delightful to work with and communication, details, ect could not have been better. Beach is about a 3 min walk and having all the beach gear already at the house made trips very easy. So happy that we stayed here and we will be back next summer.

We’ll Be Back!

My husband, our 4-year-old, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at HeartWind! The location, the house, and the pool were so wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything we needed for our stay including a well-stocked kitchen. The walk to the beach was short and easy as well. Our 4-year-old is already asking to come back next year! Gord and Michelle were very receptive to anything we needed. Highly recommend all around!

Great owners

Working with Gord and Michelle was a pleasure. Michelle was quick to answer any questions I had. You can tell they really care about their property and those staying in it. The house was clean and great setup for our family. The home was very close to several things.

Exceeded our expectations!

Our stay at Heartwind was wonderful! We have stayed at many different homes around the world and this one exceeded our expectations. It has everything we needed and very nice “extras” - good beach gear, stocked kitchen, ample bath towels. Our children adored the bunk beds and ocean themed picture books. The home is lovely and light and airy, the porch the perfect setting for morning coffee and afternoon book breaks, the pool refreshing and roomy. It was our first visit to the area and we were delighted to be walking distance from the Dune lakes. The beach with the shallow lake was so fun for our children, ideal for young ages. What fun! We hope to visit again!

Amazing!!

We enjoyed the property so much it was very difficult to leave! We've been coming down to the Emerald Coast every summer for 10 years and this is our favorite place so far! We loved the close proximity to the beach and visited some days several times. The walk to the beach was very easy with no stairs and not a long distance from the walkway to the water. The property had a great wagon and comfortable beach chairs to use as well as toys and umbrella. The pool was a lot of fun for our family and having access to a quick rinse was very useful. We enjoyed everything about our stay and hardly ventured out because we enjoyed it so much there. We hope to stay again sometime.

The location of the house is great, the onsite pool was great also. The house was smaller than we are used to, but it had everything we needed, just a little cramped with 4 adults and there wasn't anywhere to store food or snacks in the kitchen. We only ate lunch at the house, so this didn't present a major problem for us, but I could see where it would be a problem with a family that wanted to eat in every night. The host were amazing and communicated with us during our stay. If traveling with just my husband we would stay again, overall we enjoyed our stay. Seagrove is our happy place! Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Perfect beach/pool stay for our young family

Loved our time at Heart Wind! The pool was perfect for our baby and toddler (13mo and 3yo). The shallow end was about 10" deep and a great size for them to splash around. We rented a crib and high chair through coastal crib, but probably could've just rented the high chair as there was a nice pack and play with sheets on site (and baby gate). Beaches were great! The closer of the two (with shower) was private but there were properties that weren't policed on weekdays. The public beach - 2 minutes further - had a nice tide pool/fresh water mix area for the little ones. There is a beach wagon, big umbrella and chairs for use. We cooked most meals at the house and the kitchen was more than enough. Grill worked great and was clean. Nice dishwasher and laundry. Stayed for a week. Wish we would've done 9 days. Would 100% book again.

A Heart in Seagrove

Property was excellent, very clean, photos are accurate. Was surprised to see pack n play & beach cart (won’t have to bring next time!). Kitchen was on point - enjoyed cooking in it. Appreciated the beer glassware! Knives were sharp, etc. grill is down by pool so it’s a haul to bring the grill food down/up. Color theme/motif was nice, added a real “emerald beach feel”. Was nice that it was modern/updated but wasn’t stale and still had character. Mattresses was fine to me, but I don’t need a sleep number to get a good rest. Washer and dryer worked fine and seemed new. Nice quiet area, really liked it being close to beach but off the beaten path and still minutes to “go to-s” (seaside amphitheater, Deer Lake Dunes, Buddys & Goatfeather fish markets - not too far from a Publix$$ grocery if you need - right by Florida House/Cafe 30a, maybe 10-15 min drive to Shunk Gulleys for those familiar with area). The pool is fantastic - it has a wading shallow end so perfect if you have youths, our 2yr old had a blast doing a “belly crawl” swim & wife enjoyed lounging & reading in it. Pool has some toys, there’s a nice swing in the outdoor picnic area. Outdoor porch was nice, spent a decent amount of evenings on it while we were there. beach was nice If I could give more stars on communication (response time, friendly, outgoing, genuine care) I would. Would recommend and would like to stay there given future opportunity. A little gem, a heart in Seagrove. Thanks Michelle and Gord!!

This was our second consecutive stay at HeartWind Cottage so needless to say, we adore our time there. The property is beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we need. Our 5-year-old swam in the pool every single day this visit and with a super short walk to the beach, we also enjoyed the ocean as well. Michelle and Gord are very kind, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to all of our needs. We appreciate them so much and hope to be back once again next year! We love HeartWind!
