This stylish, family friendly Capitol Hill rowhome will provide you with the quintessential DC experience. Originally built in 1914, this home has been fully remodeled with all the amenities you need to feel at home.

Great location, 1 block to Lincoln Park, near Capitol, Union Station and Eastern Market. Walkable to Barracks Row, H Street and the Fields at RFK. Great bike and walk scores! METRO nearby: Stadium-Armory, Potomac Ave, Eastern Market.

This is a whole-house rental, so you have exclusive access to the entire house and to the patio. There is a separate one-bedroom English basement beneath. It has a separate entrance as well as separate climate control and utilities. There are no shared spaces or communicating doors.

The location is great. A 12 minute walk to the Metro station. The pizza place on the corner has good pizza and salads. Easy pickup and drop off for Uber. I felt safe at all times. The home is comfortable and well stocked. I loved the sitting area outside and inside. I will say the couch is low so this old lady laughed every time I tried to get up. We did carry our Roku, so not sure about TV. I would recommend and I will stay here if I ever return to DC

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable, walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops, and so much detail was thought of for the stay! Highly recommend and if we come back to the area, we will stay again!

Great neighborhood, quiet, safe w good restaurants in the area. The house was well stocked for families inclusive of high chair and pack and play. The outside patio was great to grab a little sunshine and coffee in the morning. And really appreciated the prompt and real time communication with the owner. Would stay again!

Amazing stay!

This house was everything that it appeared to be online. It was gorgeously decorated, flawlessly clean, and just a fantastic location for doing fun, touristy things in DC. Communication with the host was very easy, and all around it was just an absolutely fantastic stay. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful cozy place!

We stayed here and were so impressed by the thoughtfulness of everything And the beautiful decor. They thought of everything- many umbrellas for use, multiple hair dryers/straighteners etc. thank you for a great time !!

Gorgeous stay

We stayed for a long girls weekend and this was the perfect place for it. Location was great with wonderful local businesses nearby. The home has every amenity needed for a very comfortable stay. It was extremely clean and well maintained. We couldn’t stop talking about the beautiful decor. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is a great home. Its walking distance to everything. Metro is close and easy yo use. The home has everything you could want except your clothes and food. The neighborhood is quiet. A great experience from start to finish.

Great neighborhood; great home

Had an amazing week of sightseeing while staying here. Metro is 10-15 min walk. Great pizza place at the end of the block. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. Street parking was safe. Walked to Eastern Market multiple times for errands. Would stay here again!

Great additional space for family reunion coming to see us in DC

Close by to my home in DC. Great extra accommodations for overflow family we could not put up in our home during our family reunion. Safe walking distance. Pizza restaurant on the corner is delicious

Fantastic place to stay!

We can't say enough about how happy we are to have secured this property for our week long trip to DC. The communication with the owners was always timely and very helpful. The location is extremely convenient: there are several quaint restaurants easily within walking distance (think 3-5 minute walk), the nearest grocery store (Safeway) is only a 10 minute walk, and getting to and from sightseeing in the city is anywhere from 15-30. The neighborhood is very well maintained and feels truly like a community (at all times of the day people are walking their dogs, pushing babies in strollers, exercising, bringing food home for dinner). It feels extremely safe to walk around and getting Ubers/Lyfts usually only takes 5 minutes. The property itself is well kept and looks just like what is advertised. It has all the modern amenities you'd want (washer/dryer, toaster oven, large fridge, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, mounted tv, AC, etc). We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs, and this one tops the list. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would encourage anyone else to do the same :)

Truly a home away from home

We were in town for a few functions and lots of sightseeing with a 7 year old so this location was perfect. Great neighborhood! We walked to the Metro, the park and the grocery store. The house is an old- school Washington row home that's been tastefully and comfortably renovated. I grew up in DC so the style of house brought back lots of memories. Walking in the front door truly felt like we were coming home. The kitchen was spacious and fresh. The beds were great and the bathrooms were clean and attractive. The house has all the conveniences-washer and dryer, dishwasher, A/C and plenty of hot water. We loved the entire experience and would stay here again in a minute!

Great location and hosts!

We visited our daughter for Mother’s Day weekend and this place was perfect. Lots of walkable restaurants and parks nearby! Perfect kitchen/dining room table for playing card games, etc. Comfy beds but could have used a few more pillows. Enough room for us to spread out in this cozy home for a little nap time if needed. Wonderful kitchen with anything you need! Best of all, super responsive and kind hosts to the few questions/requests we had.

Delightful

This was a wonderful spot for our family to stay while celebrating our sons wedding nearby. Very homelike feel in a very safe neighborhood. We were too busy to explore much by walking around, but this is a nice place. There was some issue with VRBO not showing this as a trip in my account, but an email to the owners got a rapid response to clarify my questions. Highly recommended.

In the neighborhood you'll find The Cupboard, Hill Cafe, Wine + Butter, Manna, The Pretzel Bakery and more. Three METROs nearby: Stadium-Armory, Potomac Avenue, Eastern Market.

W/D and Dishwasher in unit. Wi-fi, Netflix and other streaming including. Parking pass for street parking can be provided and should be requested in advance.

Keyless entry, 2 separate front and back entrances. Please note there are stairs at each entrance.

Upstairs unit of 2 unit property. New ceilings have been installed between units and greatly reduces sound transmission, however, as is typical in older DC rowhouses, noise may still carry between units (upstairs or neighbors) as these row homes were built in 1914.
