Hale Lani Villa has beautiful ocean and sunset views! Close to Cruz Bay town (10 minutes) and National Park beaches (15 minutes). Villa is located in a quiet neighborhood with private pool.

Hale Lani is all about open air Caribbean living and the spectacular ocean views! The Villa has a main living area with a living area, kitchen, and expansive patio. Our home has sliding doors that disappear into the walls so you can truly feel the Caribbean breezes. There is also a covered breezeway with additional seating/lounging off the main living area that leads to the refreshing pool.

We live on island and will be available for any questions before or during your stay and are here to help all we can!

Hale Lani is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Great Cruz Bay and is very quiet and easy to get to Cruz Bay town and grocery stores.

The views were amazing and the main areas were fabulous. The bathrooms could use a little updating but overall the house was great and the hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs.

Our family loved this spacious, well-equipped private home. Plenty of room for a group of 7 adults. The pool is wonderful and includes nightly gorgeous sunsets. Several different areas to hang out. We dined inside and on the covered porch outside. We cooked a lot and found all the supplies we needed. Other guests have left seasonings, oil, etc, so that was helpful. Excellent communication with Julie and Dave and their concierge/driver team. The added beach gear, cooler, towels, snorkel equipment, floaties came in handy. Highly recommend. Wonderful vacation. OH! and it was our first time to St. John and we went back and forth on which part of the island to stay. I am so glad we chose Chocolate Hole - close to the town of Cruz Bay for dining, shopping. We did rent a car, but on one occasion our adult kids dialed up a taxi ride from the house and back and it was cheap, effortless, and convenient to have that option.

Kitchen Set up was great- fully stocked. Pool had a lovely view. Sprinkler system seemed to be a waste of water and some of the light fixtures need attention. Overall 3.5/4 out of 5.

Hale Lani exceeded our expectations. The communication with Dave and Julie was timely and easy. The villa was beautiful and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable for our party of six. The sunset view was spectacular and we caught it every night except for the one night we enjoyed it at The Windmill Bar. The location was perfect & the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Every single one of us said this was our favorite vacation thus far and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

This was a great relaxing escape for our family. Four separate bedrooms was great and the location was central for our home base for the week. The pool was a great spot to watch the sunset from. The views from the house are incredible. Beach chairs and equipment was also nice. Numerous flowers around the house and we saw deer, mongoose, hummingbirds and iguanas from the pool deck. It truly felt like a private escape and we had a wonderful week.

Beautiful view

We loved this house. Lots of wildlife from Iguanas, to hermit crabs to a friendly family of deer. The private pool was wonderful as well as the amazing view. The bedrooms are very private. The upstairs area is all recently remodeled. The two lower level bedrooms are not remodeled and are very separate from the rest of the house so just be aware if planning to use these rooms. The concierge person was extremely helpful in pretrip planning. You are close to the grocery stores as well as the Westin where we went for a day sail. We had a fantastic stay!

Fantastic View

The property was beautifully landscaped. Driving from car ferry to property was easy. The home was furnished nicely and the recent renovations were great improvements. The pool and covered breeze way by the pool was perfect for sitting and enjoying wonderful sunsets. Beds were super comfy. We were treated to a lovely charcuterie board on arrival. Our contact with agent Kelly on arrival was informative and pleasant.

All our friends were so happy with Hale Lani. The layout is perfect for privacy and group hangs. The great room is amazing with open air and amazing kitchen. The views from pool and all rooms are spectacular! We couldn't have asked for better.Thanks!

Fantastic stay at Hale Lani in St John

We had a fantastic stay at Hale Lani for our kids’ spring break (ages 7, 11, and 13) with another family. The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly laid out, with two master suites upstairs and two queen bedrooms downstairs (outdoor spiral staircase). The kids loved having their own space!The house had everything—kitchen essentials, a grill, games, snorkel gear, beach chairs, even paddleboards with car straps. Thoughtful extras like toiletries, laundry soap, and spices were provided, along with a welcome charcuterie board with fresh flowers.Communication with the property manager was excellent, and the location was ideal—close to the market and Cruz Bay. We chartered with Stormy Pirates, rented a dinghy (our favorite day!), visited Lime Out (fun but pricey), and swam with turtles at Maho Beach. While the island is expensive, Hale Lani was well worth it!Thank Dave and Julie! We hope to come back again!!

Hale Lanai - Perfect Villa

Could not have stayed at a better villa. The outstanding views, outdoor space, pool, amenities, location, cleanliness, beach chairs, coolers, & owners communication during our stay could not have been any better. The backup power definitely an added plus. Highly recommend Hale Lanai!!!

Perfect house for family

The location is very convenient and easy to get to. And it provides easy access to grocery stores and restaurants The sunsets are stunning. And the floor plan for the house is perfect for our family of Adult daughters and son-in-law. Two masters up stairs with out door shower were very much a novelty and very much enjoyed. The bedroom lower level had great views of the ocean and very bright. The common space both in doors and out doors was a fantastic place to gather and see the sun sets and play games in the evenings. The recently updated kitchen was modern and clean and is a spacious layout. We’ll be back to stay at Hale Lani again.

Beautiful Villa, outstanding views

Hale Lani Villa was everything we had hoped for and more: clean, modern, comfortable, spacious and a breathtaking view of the ocean. Great kitchen and pool area. The windows and light throughout the house have been well thought out. Every bedroom comes with a firm king bed.

THE perfect home for a St John Vacation

We have been to St John many times over the years, from our early days working with Royal Caribbean to taking numerous vacations. This was our 2nd stay at Hale Lani and it was even better than the first in 2022. Outstanding home in a prime location, great management and check-in process and very responsive to any requests during our stay. Very accommodating with pre-check in provisioning from Landlubber Logistics (separate company, also recommended!). Our family of four really enjoyed the incredible view, the great remodel upgrades to the kitchen/living room/master bath. Everyone loved the outdoor showers, the pool with a million dollar view and the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely stay here again, it's just perfect!

Unbelievable views and incredible property!

Hale Lani is everything it promises to be and more! Our family of five, including a set of grandparents and young adult, had more than enough room to spread out between the two master suites upstairs and the downstairs bedrooms. The covered lanai leading out to the pool that overlooks the beautiful waters of St. John was wonderful to wake up to and come home to after our daily trips exploring the incredible beaches. The property manager, Julie, was very responsive and communicative. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return!

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. The bedroom layout was perfect for our family and everyone enjoyed the panoramic views from the living room. Greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys supplied by the hosts. David was quickly responsive to our requests.

Amazing house

The house is perfect. The view is about as good as it gets. Also, good location to run to the grocery store or to the north beaches. Neighborhood is quiet. The house has regular power and solar power with back up Tesla batteries that came in handy when the power went out. Our vacation was uninterrupted by power outages. The property managers are easy to communicate with. The house has 2 master suites on the top level each with private bathrooms and ice cold AC and indoor and outdoor showers. The bottom level has 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom with excellent AC as well. There is a community restroom on the top level. The pool is excellent. House is stocked with everything you can think of. Would highly recommend and would return again.

40th Extravaganza!

The pictures don’t even come close to how amazing of home this gem is in St John. Julie and Dave are great hosts. We’re typically beach goers but it was hard not to enjoy time at the house and the pool. This place is a winner! Best way to start my 40’s!

Spring break getaway for 8

Beautiful views in a lovely location. Flight in was delayed to the island; property manager stayed in contact the whole time making checkin and getting to location easy. The house was clean, there was wildlife everywhere, and taking a moonlight shower outside was a the perfect way to end the night or prep for a night out. Thank you to everyone at Hale Lanai Villa. 💗

Amazing!

We've rented a few houses on St. John and this one has been our favorite so far. The house was super clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well-supplied, plenty of room for everyone, and divine sunset views. We will definitely be back.
