This condo sits on the second floor of Sugar Top, an aptly named resort property with commanding views of the mountains. On the grounds, you'll have access to an indoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a steam room. It's a great location for relaxing and exploring, with the Sugar Ski & Country Club (half a mile), Sugar Mountain Resort (three miles), the public golf course (three miles), Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster (three miles), Grandfather Mountain State Park (nine miles), and a number of excellent wineries close by.

Spend summer mornings sipping coffee on the balcony before preparing hearty breakfasts in the well-equipped kitchen. On winter evenings, come home from skiing to toast your toes by the fireplace and stream movies in the warmth of the living room. Sit down for dinner around the dining room table, leave the day's gear in the care of the washer/dryer, and retire to two comfortable bedrooms - each paired with its own smart TV and full bathroom.

Ski trip

Everything was great minus the first hurdle when coming to the property. The cleaning lady had never cleaned the room. I had to end up doing laundry so we could have clean bedding around 4-5pm when I checked In. Luckily we had brought some of our own blankets because there is no way that would have dried at a decent hour to get some rest. They were very good at communicating the problem though and a housekeeper came the next day at 11am(I got to chose the time). The door code did not work so we had to share one key so someone had to be up if others went out later etc. which got kind of annoying and also had to make sure we did not misplace that one key !!! The location itself was great, had a shuttle to take us to and from parking lots (which parking lot A they mention in ad was closed so the lots where a little further from resort). We definitely had a lot of fun and would stay again and hope the housekeeper comes as scheduled and the key pad works !

Not booking from this agent any more

- [ ] My family with 1 baby and 1 toddler checked in around 7pm and noticed the heater didn't work because of the very old thermostat. Talked to customer service and they said they would have it fixed asap but nothing happened. We were too tired so we went to sleep with layers of clothes especially for the kids. Nobody ever contacted us back. Next day we called again they said they will have someone to call us but no call at all. I told them I would not stay if this issue cant be fixed. They promised it would. We came back in the evening trusting them but the same issue there, called them twice explaining the same thing and they put me on hold but the phone got disconnected twice. Nobody called back. I called them the 3rd time and this guy said they will have someone called within a few minutes. After 45 mins, someone actually called and asked us to check the wires in the bathroom. The problem was from the stripped wire. The heater worked but it turned off every 2 hours. Couldn't sleep well both nights, luckily we checked out the next day. I won't be renting this and will stay away from Vacasa because of bad customer service. They couldn't take care of the issue for 2 days. Heating is a must up in the mountain this season but they failed and didn't even care we have 2 young children.
