Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We and a great time , have stayed here before in a condo and tried a Villa. Beautiful Gulf views from the living room and beautiful renovated Villa. A few small things and maintenance came and delt with them in a timely manner. We will definitely be staying here again. They're still recovering from the hurricane but the pool, beach and Villa are ready to go. So give them a try.

All of the staff is friendly and helpful, the villas are clean, the property is well cared for and the IH amenities meet our expectations! This is a great location to be right on Siesta Key beach! The only very minor complaint is that the sofa bed coverings (mattress covering and sheets) are lacking (for villa 11). The property description is accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. We enjoy dinner at Captain Curt's and the Big Water Fish Market and shopping at the shops around those restaurants.We always enjoy our Island House vacations!

Love the Resort as a whole, Villa 11 not so much

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time at Island House and we will be back, but not to Villa 11. The blinds in most of the rooms were falling/not working properly. The sleeper sofa was in terrible condition. The décor (like the wreath in the master bedroom, cable box, internet box) was covered in a layer of dust.We love the Resort but will be staying at other units from now on.

All units are in a great location to walk to most things. The free trolley is also a way to get around. Our unit was comfortable and had most items needed. Honestly we did not spent much time inside because the weather and the beach was only steps away kept us busy.

The condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Clean, comfortable beds, kitchen nicely stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Loved the screened porch & easy walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here again

Wonderful Resort

This Villa (11) was perfect for the five of us . . . .and just a few steps to the Perfect Beach !

Overall, our 3 adult kids and my husband and myself really enjoyed our stay in Villa 11. Our view out of the living room window couldn't be beat. . . .a Direct view of the beach and water. A few minor problems - there were no sheets provided for the pull-out couch, which we needed; the glass top on the coffee table was Not attached and we almost pulled off the glass onto the hard ceramic floor when moving coffee table; the shower in the main bathroom plugged up during showers and drained slowly; and the shelf in the kitchen cupboard came loose and fell out, when a peg fell out.
