Great location on Siesta Key

The location of the condo was great. The community was quiet, well cared for and had super amenities: pool, private beach, game room, etc. Communication with condo managers was easy and they were very accommodating. The condo was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Siesta Key.

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I stayed for a babymoon before our little girl is due in July. The place was lovely... quiet, clean, comfortable and the staff and other guests throughout the facilities were extremely nice. We found that the bed in the master bedroom was pretty uncomfortable and seemed like but other than that, everything was great. We did wish that there would have been a beach umbrella and chairs available for us to use so that we could have gone down to a different part of the beach without having to rent or buy our own, but my husband did ask the staff at the front desk and they let us borrow an umbrella that someone else had left behind for one of the days since i was pregnant and really needed to have a little bit of shade available. We were there during the lovebug mating season, so that wasn't too fun, but that is no fault of the accommodations, we just didn't realize what we would be dealing with since we had never heard anything about this before arriving.

Nice Villa but some issues!

Spent a weekend in this unit. Very nice inside but the main bathroom could use an update. The tub was very slow to drain and a party of five had to wait to use the only shower in the unit. Then there was the issue of ants in the unit. The trash receptacle would fill up with them in a matter of days. Couldn't leave any food out or the ants would be all over. The unit could also use ceiling fans in the bedrooms...only fan was in the living room area. Finally, the blinds in the living room area were either missing or damaged. When closed...view from the street was still possible and the sun would shine through in the mornings. Other than these issues, and the weather being bad...we had a good time staying indoors.

In the future, please do not leave donuts and candy out on the counters as that will draw ants right away especially because we are in the middle of a drought here. Hope to see you again soon!

Quick walk to beach from the villas and easy to grab the trolley to go to the village. However V8 needs some updates. Cabinet in kitchen fell off hinge(went to office to have fixed), toilet ran for days (went to office but never fixed), faucet stopped running (went to office to have fixed), no ceiling fans in bedrooms and no exhaust fan in bathroom. You have to shower with the door open. Would stay again at Island house, just not in V8

Disappointed at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was nice, as it usually is here. We’ve been staying here for a week every year for a long time. This year the beach wasn’t very much fun because there was a group of about 15 tents (that even wrapped around OUR tent) that ruined the beach. They were a massive group of people, and a few from their group even told us about how they weren’t all staying there, and most of them were at a hotel down the street. We pay about $2k for a week here, and this year we couldn’t even enjoy the “private” beach access because there were about 60 people clogging the place up. Management used to be more aware of making sure people on the beach we’re staying there, they also used to be more aware of taking peoples tent frames down at night to clear the beach. Which should be done to enable sea turtles to nest there at night, and to make sure the same people aren’t taking up all the space on the beach. I’m not sure that we’ll be back, we’re reviewing other options for next year, as this year was a nightmare.

We liked staying in a villa and having our car parked so close! It was nice to not have to deal with elevators or steps! The grills were well maintained and my hubby enjoyed grilling with an ocean view! We appreciated having chairs and sand toys already there that we could use! We had a great vacation!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit pictures are deserving, pulled into driveway and the storage door is blown out and needs to be replaced. The entrance door to unit never closed until you locked it, needs to be replaced. the master bedroom had a computer monitor for a tv 21 inch (come on man ! ) The king bed was so uncomfortable we had to sleep in the twin beds in other room. The shower head only pumped out half the water the other went through the tub faucet. When you turned on the cook top tiny ants would crawl across the cooktop. The blinds are broken going to lanai. The lanai tile floors are broken up, rug over them. i sat in the patio furniture chair and fell through. The pool needs to be cleaned, Black mold along the top blue tiles. We have been coming for years and never saw the pool looking that bad. The property of the rentals is keep up nice. The beach was beautiful and racked and keep up. This unit and pool are very concerning.

Great location!

We had a blast and enjoyed the vacation very much. The listing made it seem like it was ocean front so we were disappointed to not be able to see the water. But we had. A great time and the villa was very nice !

Beach Vacation Stay

Overall, the property was suitable and in an excellent location. The property grounds was well cared for. Our Villa was acceptable but in need of some maintenance and in comparison to other Villas on the resort, it is not as well maintained. It was clean. Again, the short walk to the beach was awesome with beautiful approach. The pool was very close, heated, and well maintained. The game room also is in need of significant upgrades and maintenance work. But nice to have near by. Overall, a nice get away with acceptable accommodations, just wish it was in a little better shape.

Thank you for the comments and glad you enjoyed. The owner has been wanting to come down to do some upgrades but unfortunately he is from Canada and with the border closed he has not been able to get into the country. I am sure all will be done once he does arrive. Thanks again.

Clean and close to the beach

My family of four enjoyed our stay in this unit. The beach has loungers that are free which was nice. Cabanas and other items were for rent. The unit was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. It had everything we needed except for paper towels. Maybe that is the norm for this area to not provide paper towels? My only suggestion for the owner would be to upgrade the mattress and pillows in the master bedroom. The double beds in the other bedroom were way more comfortable.

The property was very nice, updated and clean and just steps away to the beach.

The Villa was perfect for us. It was nicely updated, clean and just the right size. The screened porch got lots of use. The beautiful beach was just a short walk down the path and you could easily take a quick walk back and forth throughout the day. Overall, it was great. The only minor problem was the pillows and that was easily resolved by going to the store in town and purchasing a pack of 4 inexpensively. I would definitely recommend this property and Siesta Key.

Perfect get away...

Place was clean and inviting. Bedrooms comfortable and nice. Kitchen had everything needed. Great location close to beach made for an excellent stay.

Peaceful paradise

The village was very clean and the staff is very friendly . The beach is beautiful, and the sunsets are amazing. I will return definitely.
