Very quiet area and most enjoyable stay at the cottage and in the surroundings. Cleanliness and lots of useful amenities pleased us most. Pleasant interior design was Sara’s signature.

Perfect OGT Week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in OGT! Sara was an excellent host and the home had everything we needed and more. Great location for families, walkable to Footbridge Beach and downtown (recommend bringing a wagon on stroller for the littles!) - we were able to enjoy all our favorite places with ease :) We look forward to next year already!

Beautiful Cottage

This spot was perfect for an Ogunquit vacation! The house was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 teenage friends. The pictures don't do the house justice. The bathrooms were spacious and beautiful and the rest of the house was clean and spacious. We walked to the beach and to the town, the car only moved for a drive to the grocery store and Kennebunkport. The house was spotless on arrival and had many items household items that made the stay even more comfortable. Had pleasant text conversations with the owner, who seemed eager to make sure we had a great experience.

Ogunquit Summer Vacation

Our stay was wonderful! Sara was always very helpful and accessible with any questions that we might of had right from the start! The cottage is very well supplied and very clean! It is decorated with a homey feeling yet she didn’t skip out on the details! It’s within walking distance to the Footbridge beach and she also had the beach supplies there if needed! I would definitely recommend the cottage! We would love to stay there in the future! Thank you Sara for your accommodations! You have a beautiful cottage!

Picture Perfect Getaway

Larry’s Lodge was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Close enough to walk to the beach/dining with little hassle and something to do for everyone. Kids enjoyed the little playground and playing ball in the field. Adults enjoyed the abundant options for outdoor seating and enjoying a book. Would recommend to any family looking for a nice, quiet location right in the thick of all Ogunquit has to offer.

Great Cottage Rental!!

We had an absolutely amazing week, thanks in no small part to the amazing and beautiful cottage we stayed in! The owners really have a lovely place here, and their “touches” throughout the home are so well thought out and tasteful! We really loved staying here! We’ll be back!

Perfect beach cottage

We were truly thrilled with our week at Sara's Ogunquit cottage. I have never stayed in a rental so well stocked and adorably decorated. It felt like home! We so appreciated the stocked storage shed out back with ALL of our beach essentials and the washer and dryer inside. Larry's Lodge road is the quietest alcove of small cottages around - right off Route 1 but seemingly miles of serenity away. I worried when I booked that this cottage would be too far away from the beach and town and I was completely wrong! It is an easy walk to town and Footbridge Beach without any of the hassles of parking in Ogunquit. We made good use of the beach cart every day. We actually preferred Footbridge Beach because it was a little less crowded than the main town beach (although we could walk there along the ocean easily from our beach chairs every day). Definitely bring home lobsters from Beach Plum Farm next door for great prices. The house was the perfect size for a family of 4-6. We ate breakfast and had happy hour on the porch each day. Truly outstanding!

Peaceful beach getaway

This property was perfect for our family. The distance to Footbridge Beach is short and walking downtown was easy. The house was clean and very well stocked. Our little ones loved the swing set in the common area. Sara was a wonderful host and very easy to get in touch with. We hope to be back again next year!

A delightful home!

What a delightful cottage! Everything was perfect, from the gorgeous landscaping, comfy beds, spacious living area, and beach amenities provided [chairs, umbrella, beach caddy, beach towels]. The trolley stops just past the end of the street, and takes you into the main part of town or the beach without the headache of driving and parking. The house is stocked with most everything you need -- spices, coffee, sugar, -- even ice packs to use in your cooler for lunch on the beach. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had. Our family had a wonderful vacation here. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Cottage.

My family and I have been going to Ogunquit for the past four years and this past trip was the best one yet. This cottage was perfect for my wife , 2 small children and my parents. The cottage was a 15 minute walk to footbridge beach. We also walked to the beach fire grill for dinner and egg and I for brunch. We also easily walked into the center of town to get ice cream or hit the up bakery. The location is perfect for any family heading to Ogunquit. The cottage itself was adorable. It was clean , had everything we needed and had a great space for my kids to play in. Someday I would like to buy a cottage in oqunquit and I would want it to look and feel like Sara’s place .

Adorable Cottage in Perfect Location

That headline comes directly from the comments of my daughters (“it’s adorable”) and my husband (“the location is perfect”) when we first arrived at the property. We were very comfortable for our week in Ogunquit and enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the village. Great property with all you need

Our family of four stayed in this delightful cottage in July. It was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Great outdoor space to relax. Ideal Location , walk to beach. Property came with beach chairs and buggy. Washer and dryer a great extra. Highly recommend!

Great walking location to town and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. House was clean and well layed out. Owner thought of everything. So nice to not have to find space in the car for beach towels and chairs and caddy as they are all there for you. A great experience overall!

Quintessential Maine beach cottage; adorable, updated, and well-appointed, steps from everything!

We stayed a week at this cottage for our annual trip back East to see family. My brother has owned a house in Ogunquit for 15 years, so we needed to be within close proximity to his place. We totally lucked out when we found this cottage. Location is perfect- walking distance to several great restaurants, the beach, and all the shopping on Main Street. The place is one of several cottages in a small Association, (and definitely the nicest among them) that sits discreetly in its own little quiet enclave off Main Street/Rte 1. An easy drive gets you to the conveniences of Wells, and the cottage itself is delightful, with original knotty pine paneling, hook and latch hardware, but tasteful/smart updates to lighting, plumbing and electric so you're not "roughing it" in any way. The decor is adorable- coastal with just the right amount of cute. The kitchen is well organized and has everything needed for a cook, if you plan to eat in. Bedrooms are generous in size, and the A/Cs and fans provide plenty of cooling for the more humid weather. The nights were so peaceful in this place, our 5 & 8 year old actually slept in! I loved waking up and enjoying my coffee every morning here, and coming back to all of its coziness each night. It was truly the perfect spot. Note that there is no washer/dryer- we didn't miss it, as we were able to do a mid-vacation load at my brother's place, but if needed there are a couple laundromats just up the road in Wells. The owner is responsive, helpful, and accommodating.

Wonderful cottage, comfortable for six.

We chose this cottage because it is near the Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit, with room for 6. We had a great time and would absolutely consider staying here again in the future. Nice, well equipped kitchen, great dining room living room space, and wonderful beach toys and chairs made it perfect!
