Close to everything

Nice place that conveniently located close to everything downtown. The owner was helpful and responsive in communication. We'd definitely use them in the future.

Convention Stay

I stayed in Louisville for a convention downtown. The house was very nice and true to the pictures. It was well maintained, and check-in was seamless. The house was just a few minutes from downtown so getting back and forth was easy. The bed was comfortable and towels for the bathroom were provided. The only drawback was the closeness of the freeway to the back of the house. It was extremely loud and distracting.

Clean and neat

The host is very attentive to your needs and the home was very well updated and clean and comfortable. Just fyi: it says one and a half baths but there is only one bathroom. It is a good size but no half bath. Otherwise nice experience.

Host was very nice. The house is only a 4 minute drive from the fairgrounds and downtown. There are some great brunch spots just around the corner!It is unfortunately right underneath an overpass, and you can’t help but hear it all day long. The neighborhood itself is still developing, so feels a little sketchy at night. The home was unfortunately not cleaned very deeply, so the dishes were a little dirty, the counters hadn’t been wiped down, and a guest had clearly smoked inside and ashed in the sink before leaving. There’s some cosmetic damage around the home (holes in drywall, cracked floorboards) and cobwebs in most rooms (floor and walls)All-in-all, it’s a convenient location, but the price felt a little steep for the quality.

Oasis a perfect urban getaway

At first glance you see a very nice looking front yard fully scaped with a lawn jockey greeting you! After entering the home i could clearly tell the owner spared no expense in furnishing it. There is an awesome kitchen table that also turns into a pool table which is big enough for at least 4 people if not more. There was plenty to do inside with an assortment of board games to keep your mind occupied. The bed was a very large and comfy king size bed. The location was convienently centralized to downtown, highlands, and churchill downs. That made it perfect for all of my needs as everything was about ten minutes or less. I highly recommend derby oasis to anyone viewing and considering renting the house. Overall i would have to rate the experience and house a solid 10/10. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay here and responding to messages quickly. Thanks Alan!

The Game Filled Home :)

The house is beyond amazing! It's so much better than the pictures show! It is set up perfectly and really has everything you may need already there! The kitchen table could seat at least 8 but it's also a pool table. There are tons of board games as well or you can just relax on the comfy couch (you can also use for an extra bed) and watch a movie on the huge tv :) or there's plenty of room for an air mattress in the living room or bedroom! The bedroom and bathroom are at the back of the house and are set up so cute! There's a cute little area in the back to hang out or you could sit on the front porch or even the side of the house has little steps you could hang out on. I will be visiting Louisville quite a bit in the near future and plan to stay in this house if it's open every time! I would definitely recommended this house to anyone who needs a place to stay in Louisville. It's in the perfect location right off the freeway but you don't really hear the highway noise inside the house! The host is very nice and answered me very quickly no matter what time I contacted him. You can tell his priority is making sure his guest are happy!
