Welcome to Reel Relaxin', your perfect vacation rental on the lake! We're thrilled to offer you a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, two spacious decks, along with a third deck off the master suite, and screened-in dining. Each bedrooms offers beautiful lake views and plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Enjoy the main level and lower level living rooms, as well as an additional downstairs kitchen. The outdoors is just as amazing with a firepit, lighted pathway to the dock, kayaks, and Bluetooth speakers on the dock. Come and experience the magic of Reel Relaxin'!

This house is amazing and has everything. The kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. The dock is great and in a no wake zone. I would definitely rebook this house.

Weekend visit

We enjoyed our visit! The house is beautiful and we enjoyed renting a pontoon boat for the day at Bridgewater Marina. The kids had fun using the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The fire pit has a nice view of the water.

Place was wonderful! Great space for our group and beautiful grounds and dock. Near grocery and restaurants too which is great on SML

Awesome family gathering venue

This outing was a post holiday meetup for 2 families. Great house layout with lots of deck space and windows. Loved the breakfast space overlooking the lake with tons of light. Nice big dinner table for family card games. Nice big kitchen next to den and big screen. Week started out freezing but warmed nicely and family took advantage of kayaks to explore the lake. Also took advantage of the firepit for a few nights of smores. We experienced a maintenance issue during our week but appreciated the communication/responsiveness of the property manager and owner.

Fantastic spot!

This was one of the loveliest and best-stocked rentals I've ever booked. The house is in pristine condition, spacious, comfortable, and the kitchen in particular had everything you could possibly need. And the fact that it includes a full size crib and high chair was an added bonus. The location is great--super convenient to Bridgewater Marina, and very peaceful. The driveway is definitely steep as others have said, but with the pullout area up at the top we were able to park 6 cars. Loved this house!!

Great location & property

We opted out of the usual beach vacation for a family trip to SML. Loved everything about the trip. Perfect location for our trip. The house and dock were everything we expected. We had all the amenities needed! Made most our meals we prepared in the well equipped kitchen. We made use of the secondary kitchen for frozen cocktails and snacks. We made our way out to eat by boat a few times. Jakes is in our cove and had good food and service. The arcade of course the kids enjoyed going to. The only drive not by boat was to the grocery store. Spent a lot of time on the water and dock. We plan on returning to SML for family trips and certainly for Chris and I. Chris found her retirement area and is searching properties. See you all at SML again soon!

Wonderful Lakeside Weekend

This property was absolutely gorgeous. We booked this place because our friend was getting married nearby and we decided to make a whole weekend out of it. We had great weather and were accommodated very nicely. We couldn't imagine a better place to have a little weekend getaway!

Thanksgiving week

Great place, everyone enjoyed kayaking, fishing, fire pit, ping pong, glorious kitchen setups, very jealous of the owners. They have a diamond. One maintenance issue, the silverware tray in the dishwasher unhinges frequently. We survived however. Love this place and the lake.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed this home. The view and location were great. It was very well equipped compared to other places we stayed. The kitchen had anything you would need and plenty of it. They had extra blankets and pillows. It was very clean and comfortable. The only thing and I’ve known others have mentioned this is the walkway down to the dock is a little treacherous. I believe I read that they plan to fix that.

Fabulous girls trip!

We loved this rental! The house is even more beautiful then pictures indicate! This was our first trip to SML. Plenty of room, and great layout! It actually was too big for us! We had a great time and honestly this was all about rest and relaxation and we enjoyed laying out on the dock, swimming in the warm water and doing absolutely nothing else! The dock was so nice and offered a lot of extras like petal boat and kayaks! Don’t miss the ice cream boat that comes around everyday! We loved that! Walking down was a little bit of an effort for us over 50 but nothing we couldn’t manage. Would loved to see stairs down to the dock but again it would not keep us staying here again!! It was very quiet!! No bugs,, we sat outside every night!! We enjoyed watching the boats going by the house to Jakes or the launch, but not too busy that we couldn’t be in the water. We used the grill twice which was great but we were not there to cook! However kitchen had everything a chef would want! We all had a great time and hope to come back soon!!

Had a great time!

The house is very spacious and beautiful. There was enough space that our family of 8 could be together but not feel like we were all on top of each other. We did wish we knew just how steep the walk down to the dock was beforehand.

We absolutely loved our time at Smith Mountain Lake staying in Reel Relaxin'! This was our first time visiting the lake and we had a wonderful time staying here. We can't wait to stay again next year! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving here. The house had everything we needed. Would have been nice to have linens by the local contractor. It’s tough traveling with linens.

Beautiful and spacious home

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We had 7 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us to hang out and relax. The ONLY negative thing I have to say, is that the house is very close to a boat rental facility, so there were constantly boats passing by the house on what is a relatively narrow strip of water. Swimming was still ok as long as you don't venture out too far from the dock. Other than that, we had a fun and relaxing stay!

Location, location, location!

This house is located in a no-wake zone so we safely floated, swimmed, fished and kayaked off of the dock every day. We also rented a boat and the location was nice because even though we did spend time heading south on the lake to explore, we were also able to get to a nice wide spot within 5 minutes to tube and water ski. The house itself is very nice. Plenty of room for our group to spread out and also a few nice places for us to gather and play games, hangout, etc. The ping-pong table is a nice bonus. There are actually more beds in the downstairs "bunk room" than the listing says. There is a twin over full and then another set of twin bunks also. We ate dinner every night on the screen porch and really enjoyed the use of the fully stocked kitchen. If you are considering a trip to SML, I recommend REEL RELAXIN'

Great Lake Vacation

We had a wonderful week at this well cared for beautiful home. I have never stayed in a home where the kitchen had every possible piece of cooking equipment. The pots and pans were brand new and we wanted for nothing here. A bonus for us was the crib and high chair for our grandson. The dock was a fun place to hangout when we weren’t on the boat. A terrific week and everyone in our family loved this home.

Comfortable site

Plenty of space for 8. Convinient access to water craft rental. Bring your fishing gear for jumbo perch. And, extra TP just in case.

"Real" Relaxin

Property was perfect! Clean and well equipped! We loved the porches and , of course, the setting was wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the dock and were pleased to have use of kayaks and floats. We were a little disappointed that the paddle boat was not accessible, as it was on an electric lift and renters do not have use of the lift. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope that we can return next year. Hopefully, for a longer visit!!

Loved this house! Everything was wonderful minus the steep driveway with limited space for cars since we didn't have access to the dble garage. The walk to the lake was tricky as well. Pics on the website are very misleading.

Hi there! We're Carleton and Ashley with deluxesmlhomes.com and we can't wait to host you! We love SML so much that after only one visit we decided to look for a home of our own here. We found and fell in love with our first home and decided to share the magic of SML with others:) It turns out so many of you loved our home, too so when the opportunity to buy the home next door came up we jumped on it. We now offer two large, beautiful homes in the same cul-de-sac, just a short paddle or swim away. We love spending as much time there as possible and love meeting our guests if we are there at the same time. Everyone has been so kind and complimentary of our home. We have poured so much time, energy, and love into our homes and love when people love them as much as we do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love the neighborhood for the wide roads which are great for a morning jog or evening walk, kind neighbors, quiet/peaceful neighborhood, and the wildlife. My littlest one loves seeing all the deer when we go on walks and is constantly asking to go on rides to the end of the cove to see turtles, blue herons, and eagles. We love being in a no wake zone on the lake which makes for great kayaking and paddle-boarding, and seeing boaters go to and from Jake's place. Our baby learned to wave from all the friendly boaters slowly going by day in and day out:)

Our home has a kitchen that is stocked with everything you can possibly need. We have three decks, plus a screened in porch with a dining table. Reel Relaxin' sits in a no wake zone but is close enough to the buoys to watch your kids wakeboard from the deck. Just outside of the cove is Bridgewater marina where you can rent a boat, jetskis, or other water toys, feed the carp, and go shopping. We offer adult and child kayaks and a firepit for a perfect day outdoors.
