Firepit under the stars tucked away in Sky Valley, this cozy cottage feels like your own private world yet everything you need is just steps away. Step out the door and you’re near the clubhouse: golf course, pool, hot tub, workout room, library, restaurant, hiking trails, and a waterfall that’s perfect for photos. Kids love splashing in the creek and panning for gems right outside.
Inside, unwind by the wood-burning fireplace, or gather around the outdoor under the stars. Every room has its own TV, and the kitchen’s fully stocked—Keurig, drip coffee maker, crock pot, blender, everything. Fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected without breaking the spell.
Highlands, NC—charming shops, great eats, and mountain magic—is only ten minutes down the road.
We welcome one well-behaved dog (small fee applies). Come for the quiet. Stay for the everything-else.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Creekside Hideaway! The host, Gail, had wonderful communication and was always available to answer any questions. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, secluded but yet close enough to everything we would want to do. The house was decorated nicely, beds comfortable, and we had a wonderful long weekend / Thanksgiving holiday. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay, and can't wait to book again! The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our family. The kitchen was well-equipped for making meals, and the host even decorated beautifully for Christmas. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek in the backyard, and the property was private and quiet. The driveway is very steep, so keep that in mind if booking when there's ice or snow. The host was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful.

Perfect spot for us. The property is secluded and has a beautiful stream running through it. While the location is very private, it is just minutes away from golf, tennis, and the pool. The best of both worlds. We will be back.

Memorial Day get away!

Overall a great stay! House is beautifully decorated and kitchen pretty well stocked. The back deck and stairs could use a good pressure wash, and a screen door on the back door would be ideal! The backyard is awesome, and our little boys loved playing and exploring in the creek. We also used the community pool and the husbands golfed at Sky valley. Perfect retreat weekend!

Thank you Kara. Yes, I have told maintenance to pressure wash both decks. There are lots of trees so this has to be done very often. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and I’m glad you’re coming back again. I am adding a waffle iron. Lol

My trip to sky valley GA

As someone that sees nothing be palm trees and hot weather year round I was nothing but excited to explore the change of scenery and enjoy the cold temperatures that the Georgia had to offer but my trip was made truly magical by the property owner she suggested so many wonderful places to see.she was nothing be attentive and kind and just a joy to deal with. The cabin was amazing private and the creek was just a plus. I would definitely go back.

Special getaway cabin in the woods

We loved our fall foliage week in this cozy cabin in the woods. Everything was super clean, nicely, decorated and well equipped. Especially loved the beautiful backyard with a babbling brook and outdoor firepit. It’s a special experience to sit out there and hear the regular carillon concerts while gazing at the beautiful tall trees surrounding you. Communication with the host was excellent. Very friendly, helpful and understanding.

Perfect hideaway!

From the second I stepped in to the home I fell in love. Decorated exactly how I would expect a mountain home would look. I loved having the fire nightly and reading. TV’s in every room. Just well stocked. Gail the owner even had the cleaning lady contact me and have the refrigerator stocked!5 stars ⭐️!!!

Amazing!! Mountain magic at its finest!!

Just a beautiful property with an actual mountain stream running right through the backyard. My two boys (6 and 4) had so much fun playing in the stream (so did I) and the house itself was so nicely appointed with comfy couches and the beds were so perfect! There's so much to do in Sky Valley and the surrounding areas we could have stayed an extra week! What a beautiful location....and the property manager Gail was fantastic...answered promptly all our questions and couldn't have been nicer!
