Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all everybody at Breen is fantastic, helpful, polite and just a joy to speak with. The house is in a prime location to walk to the beach or take a walk on the preserve. All of the neighbors are fantastic and very personable. The beds are very comfortable and in short, we are just sad that we only booked it for 11 days. The house is clean with any amenity that you could possibly need. Would never be able to say enough nice things about breen and their vacation rentals.... thank you, thank you thank you.

Wonderful week of relaxation and wildlife

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the pots/pans we needed during our stay. Had a great week walking the ranch across the street and watching the wildlife in the neighborhood. We had 6 deer in the yard with many more sightings of them throughout the week. The Fiscalini Ranch is always a positive because of the wildlife both in and out of the water. Great for photography.

We love Cambria!

I have stayed in Cambria many times and have vacationed in various areas of the town. This house near Fiscallini Ranch Preserve was perfect for me and my dog! We could walk the Ranch every day and meander down to Lampton Park for more beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding hillsides. So many deer and an abundance of marine life. Hard to believe a place like this still exists in California The house was perfect for us- all amenities and very clean. Of note, it is very quiet and peaceful here, somewhat off the beaten path. I really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful spot

Very happy with our stay at this property. Great location next to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Walked there every day and enjoyed watching waves crash on rocky coast. House was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Easy to work with management company and get questions answered. Will recommend to others.

Perfect beach house

The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - we did bring our own spices. The knives were sharp, there is a good assortment of pans and cooking tools.The layout is really nice. We really enjoyed sitting upstairs with our coffee in the morning and looking out at the beach and the nearby trails.

Remembering a Best Friend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My dog loved Cambria. We had to put him down in October so it seemed fitting to go back to the place he loved, doing what he loved. The house was perfect. Nice beds, good cookware, and the furniture was comfortable. This is our second stay here. Being literally across the street from the Fiscallini Ranch was great for getting out and meeting all the welcoming Cambrians. Loved seeing a deer cross the street in the early afternoon and watching the Turkey Vultures soar above us as we sat outside. Nice to know there is a house that fits our needs that’s in a quiet area with beautiful views.

Exactly what we needed :)

This sweet little beach house was exactly what our family of 4 needed! It's right near the beach as well as a nature preserve, which is wonderful for exercise and exploration. Wish we could stay longer!

Cambria beach house

We had a most comfortable stay over Christmas. The kitchen had everything we needed to make an excellent dinner - including a pie! Beds were warm and comfortable, living room was spacious and cozy. We used the loft area to play games and enjoyed the afternoon sun on the west facing deck. We are already talking about returning next year.

There was an ant problem and needed to be tended to everyday. The main concern we had an was one of the reasons we left early were the numerous signs reminded us to keep the dog off all furniture and the bed. After a week there, my friend’s dog and my friend were most uncomfortable. I don’t know why they advertised as dog friendly and charge a 95.00 pet fee.

Great Location by the Fiscalini Ranch

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Wedgewood Beach House. The location is great - just a few steps from the Fiscalini Ranch Bluff Trail. We walked our dog on the trail every morning (or our dog walked us - she loves the ranch.) The house has everything you need: comfy bed, nice TV, kitchen is well-supplied. There was a problem with the fireplace (which is the heating system for the house) but it was fixed promptly by the property managers. We noticed some ants in the kitchen but they are not too bothersome. We appreciate that the property is dog-friendly.

The excellent location, close to the water and the ranch, makes for a peaceful and beautiful experience. I especially appreciate the flat driveway, scenic views and comfortable interior. With two decks upstairs, there was always somewhere comfortable to read or rest. I loved having a morning fire in the fireplace with coffee and a good book. Though it isn't elegant, this home is one of my favorites for sure!

The decks & master bedroom are upstairs, and main living area on lower level. I never even used the upstairs. A Wonderful House, A Wonderful Location, A Wonderful Time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've rented multiple times from Breen, and have always been very happy with the properties. This property ranks as my FAVORITE rental of them all. Although this isn't the most updated and "elegant" interior of the houses I've rented (bathrooms are esp. dated), the location is incredible. It sits right at the entrance to Fiscalini Reserve, which means walks and hiking are right outside the door. You can hear the ocean always...go to sleep with it and wake up with it. You can see the rocks and watch the waves break from first and second floors. This is the best few in Cambria...looking out over the Fiscalini Reserve for the perfect sunset view. Although the parking lot for the reserve is right across the street, it never feels busy and always feels private. The fog and mist wrap around the house at night...and the whole experience is magical. Beds are comfortable. Couches are comfortable. TV is excellent. Stove is excellent. Slight problem with tiny ants in the kitchen counter, but that is an easy fix. My only wish is that the smaller front balcony had bar height stools so you could easily see over the railing when watching the sunset from there. But standing there with a drink is just fine, listening to the waves until the dusk fades into darkness. Perfection. .

We enjoyed early morning walls and the deer and fawns we encountered every morning and evening. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we appreciated that we could bring our dog with us.

Beachside Getaway

The home was well kept and clean. Despite the chilly nights we were comfortably warm, especially with the fireplace on. It was nice to be just a few steps away from the shoreline, explore the tidepools and enjoy the sunsets. Hearst Castle was close by so we visited and San Luis Obispo was close enough to visit as well. We will definitely book this property again as it was exactly what we needed for a weekend trip.
