Family Home in Oceanside Village. Walk to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools.

Our home, Dune Our Thing, is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home in Surfside Beach, SC. Located in Oceanside Village, a gated community with its own beach parking, the home comes with a golf cart for use within the community only, it cannot be used outside of Oceanside Village. It offers a beautiful living room with fun games and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. You will love the large screened in porch to sit and chat or play cards, the new furnishings and the outdoor shower!

The home comes with the beds made- enjoy the King bed as soon as you walk in! Towels and linens are provided for every stay.

The home was updated and renovated in 2022 and comes with access to the 3 pools and private beachfront parking for a day in the sun. The home also comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and a few bikes. You can shower off the sand in the outdoor shower. End the night grilling on the gas or charcoal grill (propane/charcoal not provided). The home does have a security camera outside the front door and a ring doorbell in the back shed area.

The home is rented on a Saturday to Saturday schedule.
Summer rentals are a one week minimum.

Helen and Bob’s place exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed all the amenities of the community. The house had everything we needed for the beach, and for our family with young kiddos. The community is pet friendly and everyone is very welcoming. We are already planning a trip back!

Perfect vacation home for pets!

From check in to check out, Helen & Bob were amazing at answering any questions we had. Our dogs loved watching the squirrels & taking ride to the beach on the golf cart. They definitely have anything you made need in the bkme. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful week we had staying at Bob and Helen’s place. It had everything we could have needed and then some! It was super clean and aesthetically pleading. We so enjoyed the golf cart that was included. Bob & Helen were very responsive to all our questions and communication was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location

We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the location being close to the green park area. Rooms were a bit tight to navigate. However, kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/utensils to make meals all week long. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location was perfect. Close to the beach and convenient to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. The house was super clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the screened-in porch quickly became our favorite hangout spot. The home had everything we could possibly need and more, which made the trip so easy and enjoyable. The owners were also extremely responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We found our home away from home!

Helen and Bob made their home our home. Not only is it well decorated and adorable, it is also well stocked with accessories for beach and yard. We have stayed there two years in a row and would highly recommend it. The access to the beach is amazing! The community that the home is in makes you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle, but it is located right in the middle of everything you would want to do! Bob and Helen are amazing and have become good friends!

The house is nice. The beds are very soft and not comfortable. It's great to have a golf cart to get around. Also bring your own toilet paper as they only provide a starter roll.

Perfect beach house

We stayed here June 28-July 5. We’ve been staying at OSV since i was teenager in 2005. This is one of the cleanest homes: Bob and Helen were fantastic hosts. It was my husband, myself and our two children who are 9 and 5. Plenty of room for us and very comfortable beds. My parents came Wednesday evening and it was still plenty of room with the 6 of us. We cooked a few times at the house and it had everything we needed. We didn’t realize it was pet friendly until midweek (explains my son’s allergies) because it was so clean. We are definitely interested in booking next year! I’m also 27 weeks pregnant so it’s bittersweet as next year we’ll be a family of 5!

Great spot!

As seen. But much brighter and bigger then pics. We just got back for the week of the 4th. Glad I picked here instead of Room on beach. People were nice,came with golf cart, so we went to beach and back home to pool everyday. Its your own little house. Safe. Kids road bikes etc. A nice break from all the commotion . But close enough to find fun. Fished a block away . Didnt have any issues. A great week. Would stay again.

Oceanside Village

This property was very welcoming with its beach vibe decor. Loved it! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked in every aspect. The kitchen had everything one would need. Ample stock of towels and linens. Full size washer and dryer (NICE). Plenty of games for the kiddos. This neighborhood has a number of amenities, pool, basketball courts, children's playground, dog park; to name a few. One of the nicest perks was the beach was a short golf cart or vehicle ride to their private beach and parking. And to top it off, a beach restaurant and bar!! If you see the lemonade cart rolling along the beach, try it. It's frozen lemonade and so-ooo refreshing!!
