Room 102

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The one bedroom condo was enough space for our family of four. The location was great as we could leave are car parked and walked to all the amenities. The condo itself was a little old and worn. I don’t mind a dated interior, however, it wasn’t very clean. The basics of cleaning were done, such as a made bed, carpet swept, and fresh towels. But the bathroom floor was very dusty and dirty along the baseboards, the side tables were dusty, the vents were dusty and moldy looking, and the pillow cases had stains. I think the unit needs a DEEP cleaning and some TLC, not just the basics.

Reviewer Comments: Very dated, only 2 coffee cups, couldn’t get ahold of anyone to get towels, there were needles and other things found in the pull out couch, there should at least be a broom in the units (we had kids)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before in a different unit which was not available. The unit we stayed in was in horrible condition. The sofa was old, dirty, and worn out. The unit was not clean. The heater vent in the bathroom was coming down from the ceiling. The remotes for the TVs were switched so it was second day before we were able to figure out the problem there. The carpet was old and dirty. This unit should not be rented out again until some work is done on it.

Definitely needs renovation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mold in the kitchen, bed room carpet sticky from either needing a serious carpet cleaning or most likely just extremely old. Toilet lid broke, definitely a fun ride wiping, sarcasm. Sleeper sofa, lol, terrible. Even sitting on it was a challenge, couch was broke and had a serious sag making you fail towards the middle if you tried and key word tried to sit on it. That hotel has been there many years, you have made plenty of money on the 40 year old carpet and furniture. Time to dig into that wallet a little and upgrade your condos. Very ran down, only upside was it is a good location to downtown. Oh a definitely don’t use the dishes, pots unwashed and full of crude. Will not be visiting again and I visit Gatlinburg 4 times a year and you are definitely less than a 1 star compared to many other places

Walking distant to everything. Price was great.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Negatives- dont plan to sleep 4 when u rent. The queen sofa bed was springs. Definitely needs replacing. Pool had trash floating in it. We didnt stay much in the condo but I would recommend them getting new mattresses and keeping the pool cleaner.

Nice Comfortable Place to Stay

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were on our honeymoon and just wanted a base to come back to. Oak Square was close to the attractions in Gatlinburg as well as Smokey Mountains. It is an older building but seemed to be fairly well maintained. The condo was small but well laid out. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the hot tub wasn't working. But the indoor heated pool was and we were able to get in it. I liked being able to park under cover, although the weather was great while we were there. I would recommend it as a nice get-away.

Worst. Experience. Ever.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The girl at the front desk seemed to pretty much hate her job. The room want clean, dishes were dirty, the heating/ cooling vent in the bathroom kept FALLING OUT of the ceiling. We were never asked if we needed anything like clean towels, etc. We were expected to take our dirty towels all the way to the office & ask for clean ones, which had to be dug for & finally found. When we had to stay an extra night due to sickness, they made us change rooms & charged us an extra cleaning fee! If they charge a cleaning fee, they should at least clean the rooms! Worst vacation room experience we've ever had!
