A solo una cuadra de la playa, esta belleza de tres habitaciones tiene interiores refrescantes y playeras con 1 cama King y 2 camas tamaño queen junto con un sofá cama tamaño queen, terraza cubierta, terraza en la planta baja con mesa de picnic, parrilla de gas y bar.

Le encantará la comodidad de los mejores restaurantes disponibles en Kitty Hawk junto con excelentes tiendas y vida nocturna. Y, por supuesto, nuestras famosas playas! El intrigante Wright Brothers Memorial es sólo unas pocas millas de distancia y se llega a otros lugares de interés histórico como la colonia perdida y Elizabeth II en cuestión de minutos.

My youngest granddaughter enjoyed the back porch because her and papaw could set and look at the stars and even a rabbit. My older granddaughter enjoyed her own room and the walk to the beach. My dogs enjoyed the yard and the walks. All and all it was wonderful!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our first stay in the outer banks. There are so many things to do and the beach is fantastic with crystal clear and cool water. The house was very accommodating for our family of 5 and our dog. You can tell they are trying to update it. I think hardwood or laminate floors would be better than carpet in the eating area. Also the sandy driveway between the outside shower and the steps into the house needs to be paved if you want to prevent sand from coming in the house. They do have 3 TVs but only one has satellite service. Otherwise you have to watch DVDs on the other two. It was very clean upon arrival too. An easy walk to the beach and nice safe street to run, walk, and ride your bike on was a plus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family including our fur baby stayed a week at Cocktails and Dreams for the first time. I'm always wary about a stay in an unfamiliar home that allows pets. I've experienced beach homes in the past that have that ocean musty smell, and varying degrees of cleanliness that comes with pet friendly homes. As a clean freak, I was very pleasantly surprised how clean and clean smelling the home is. The carpets and furniture are in perfect condition. The kitchen is well stocked, and the grill is a very large 4 burner. I don't believe that the listing mentioned originally, but for you fellow coffee fans, there IS a Keurig in the kitchen. The walk to the beach is quick, down the block, make a right and straight ahead a short distance to the sand. I would absolutely recommend a stay if you're a clean fanatic too. It was a great home, in a great location.

Cute Beach House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from our OBX vacation and stay at Cocktails and Dreams and absolutely loved it! We have been coming to Kitty Hawk for the past several years with our dog, and typically stay at another Carolina Shores rental, but needed to change it up since our dog is getting older and hardwood floors are no longer an option for her to walk on. So we decided on Cocktails and Dreams since it’s fully carpeted outside of the kitchen and bathroom and we were not disappointed at all! The house is perfectly decorated and has everything you need for your stay! We were happy to see so many things that our other rental did not have in the kitchen and outdoor area as well as the king sized bed in one of the rooms! The house was super cozy! We loved hanging out in the cute living room and the deck was great too! It’s about a 5 min walk to the beach and not a big deal at all! We didn’t realize this until it after the first day, but there is a small little fenced area to the right of the stairs for your dog to use that does not contain burrs and cactus. The first night we had our dog go in the backyard and which was a huge mistake... she could barely walk, but once we discovered the fenced area it was great! Cocktails and Dreams definitely won us over and will be our house of choice for many vacations to come!!

Careful in the backyard!

We had a great time. The house is an easy walk to the beach and has a nice deck and hangout area under the home with an outdoor shower. The back yard is big with greenery providing lots of privacy, however there are prickly thistles growing everywhere. We had to wear shoes and check the soles when we came out of the yard or we would track them into the house where they get stuck in the carpet creating a minefield. Lots of ouches! Also our dog got them stuck in her paws which made the yard pretty much unusable.

It was clean and decorated just the way a beach house should be decorated. Carolina Shores staff was very friendly and helpful and even provided a bag full of essentials to get us started on our vacation. We had a wonderful time reconnecting and enjoying this beautiful beach.

Unkempt property

We arrived to a dog urine wet carpet. The pungent odor punched us in the face when we walked in. The AC filter looked like it was not changed in over a year! We have pictures of it. Each bedroom had its own odor. One of dog one of cigarette smoke and the last urine. The bathroom floor was a dark grey.. until we wet mopped it!!! Light grey! Kitchen sink leaks, the faucet would run water across the counter and under the sink it leaks from the drain. We spent the first day cleaning calling management about the problems . Day lost!!! Dog urine on the patio curtain, no screen on the door. We couldn’t even air out the room if we wanted, cuz of the damn biting flies would come in like swarms . The yard looked really nice.. until you go to walk in it. Sand Spurs ! (Devil spikes) it got in the paws of our dogs and our feet!! Unreal , no using the back yard! Had to walk them around the block . There are more problems, however no room to add them .

great home and location

The property was very nice and met all our expectations. the beach access was a short distance away. Only negative about the stay was when cleaning up after our dog we found four piles left by previous people, we just cleaned it up and enjoyed our vacation. We would definitely recommend this property to others and actully we already have!
