Este espacioso condominio de 7 dormitorios y 2 baños para no fumadores se encuentra directamente en las playas de arena blanca del Golfo de México. La sala de estar y los 2 dormitorios están alfombrados y la cocina, los baños, el lavadero y los pasillos están alicatados para facilitar el mantenimiento. Incluyendo la barra de desayuno hay asientos para cenar para 8. Las cocinas están completamente equipadas, ¡te sentirás como en casa una vez que te quedes en este condominio! La unidad cuenta con una lavadora y secadora para su conveniencia. La sala de estar y el dormitorio principal tienen puertas que dan a un balcón privado de 30 'con vista al hermoso Golfo de México. This condo has an awesome balcony with amazing views of the ocean! I have never been in October, but this has easily become the best time to come to Fort Walton! It was just me and my husband and the home was very spacious! There would be enough room to accommodate another couple or couple of children! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the unit has carpet. This isn’t a total deal breaker but the removal of the carpet would make this condo a 5 STAR no doubt!

Great location and amazing view on the beach.

Couldn't have asked for a much better location and the view from the balcony was great. Acces to the beach was amazing and the coordination with local adventures made it really easy to do the things we wanted (at a discounted rate)!

Brooks and Shorey were very easy to work with. there was a mechanical issue with the room we originally reserved, but Brooks and Shorey contacted us and placed us in a comparable room. This was done smoothly and when we arrived all was well. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the ocean sunset.

Great Beach Vacay

We love Okaloosa Island and stayed in this condo for 5 days in October. The whole process from the time I booked it was seamless. The property managers were great to work with and were very accommodating. The unit is an older one and could use a few cosmetic updates mostly in the bathrooms but it was clean and great functionally and had everything we needed. It is one of the largest 2 bedroom units I have seen and had great furnishings. The balcony is huge and offered beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable. The beaches weren’t crowded and of course amazing! This location is close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The Surf Dweller was quiet and seemed family oriented. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit is older and definitely needs some updates, especially in the showers/bathtubs, and the air unit was noisy but overall great place. Just a little over a mile from the fishing pier so definitely within walking distance. I also like that this unit had a reclining couch and loveseat. That should be standard in all condos but just my opinion. Elevators also need some work. The elevators were slow to respond and sometimes we had to press buttons multiple times before it would move. I would stay here again though!

Not worth the price.

We got to the property and there was supposed to be a parking pass in the room which wasn't there. Went to HOA building which closes at 5 and check in is also at 5, so you cannot talk to anyone. Got in the unit and there was no towels, washrags, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Check out time is 10am and they were at the door at 10:01 am.

First family Beach trip

Reviewer Comments: While myself, my children, my mother & husband go on vacation each year (typically cruises) this year was the first time in my life that my dad came also. With him he brought my late sisters children. In total we had 4 boys 3,5,7&14 and 4 adults. This was also our first time to the island. Y’all, it was beautiful. The weather was COLD for this Mississippi family at a crisp “beach 60*” we spent most of our time in the condo because of this. This unit was the BEST floor plan I’ve ever stayed in. The balcony is huge. The kitchen is very spacious, as is all areas of this unit. The proximity to target & Publix is PERFECT for our last minute trip for board games and winter clothes lol. The other residents in this condominium were very nice and we enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone as they are all very friendly. The heated pool was a nice surprise for our kids so they did get to enjoy a bit of outdoor activity. We have found our new forever condo. We will never stay anywhere else if we can help it. The couches are big and roomy- the master bed is like a cloud!!! We had a wonderful, cold, spring break in this property. We can’t wait to come back. Also- do yourself a favor and eat breakfast at chicken and egg!!

Amazing views, amazing beach & amenities- poor quality condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked Surf Dweller 411 in 5-2023 . We were contacted 1-2024 & told due to walkway renovations, we needed to be moved. (Never saw walkway reno while there) #709 as “comparable” to what we had with 411.The pictures Brooks & Shorey sent us of 709 looked VERY dated compared to 411. I also saw through the link that was sent, 709 was close to $1,000 cheaper than what we paid for Surf Dweller 411 on AirBnB. I asked that we be reimbursement the difference bc we paid more for a nicer condo that we no longer can have. We were told no (only $10 refund). Views were unreal. The beach access, umbrella/chair included was a major perk! Beds were comfy.But we were so disappointed in the quality of the condo. Carpet stained, dirty looking & old. We didnt eat at the table bc the chair cushions were gross with food stains. Bedroom patio glass was very cloudy and unclean. Living room patio door was also very cloudy and dirty. One of the closet doors by main bedroom had a brown splatter on it. The trim along the doors were dirty from fingers touching it repeatedly. Sprinkler in laundry rm hung down too far & couldnt open door all the way. No flexibility from B&S for reimbursement after move which was a significant downgrade than the original rental.The elevator in the middle was down all week due to work being done around the around so the only options were the two elevators on each side of the building. However, it would just depend on chance of they would be working or not that day. We had to take the stairs to and from the 7th floor several times due to the elevators being out and people waiting to see if they’d come back on.We loved the area, loved the amenities that came with the rental with Xplorie/rental, the view was by far the best thing about this condo and that was breathtaking. We are fortunate for that. But will likely be looking elsewhere for future Fort Walton stays.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at the beach, this condo is very nice, located on the top floor with gorgeous views of the beach. Bedrooms were nice, A/C worked great to keep the place cool while you are out for the day. We have stayed at the Surf Dweller twice now without any issues.

Everything was great except the smell

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only issue we had with surf dweller number 709 was that there was a definite odor when we walked in on day one. Brooks and Shorey management was very kind to bring us some air freshener plug-ins. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The view was great. The beach service was great. The kitchen was well stocked. There are no ceiling fans but they had portable fans in the closets. Check in/out was easy. I wouldn’t recommend solely based on the odor.
