LA CASA: esta casa de 3 pisos con vista al río es ideal para grupos familiares y amigos. El piso principal es espacioso y ofrece espacio para todos. La gran cocina comedor se abre a la sala de estar y la barra de desayuno y es perfecta para socializar mientras prepara las comidas. Muchas mejoras: pisos de madera, mostradores de granito, televisores de pantalla plana, nueva sección de cuero. Los alojamientos incluyen 3 dormitorios (king, queen y 2 camas matrimoniales), 3 baños y un área tipo loft con 4 literas incorporadas, capacidad para 12 en total (todo en camas cómodas, sin sofás cama). Con porches delanteros en 3 niveles y también un porche trasero, los huéspedes pueden relajarse y disfrutar de la vista del río. House es muy conveniente para el área de la piscina, capilla, centro de conferencias, zoológico y muelles. Parking privado cubierto en planta baja. No fumar y no mascotas por favor.

EL RESORT - Steinhatchee Landing Resort está ubicado a tres millas aguas arriba del Golfo de México a orillas del río Steinhatchee. Ubicado entre robles cubiertos de musgo y pinos imponentes, el complejo ofrece un paraíso natural de Florida como ningún otro. Diseñadas para parecerse a un antiguo pueblo ribereño al estilo de Florida, las 70 cabañas victorianas y Cracker con techo de hojalata combinan la arquitectura histórica con las comodidades contemporáneas para una escapada verdaderamente única. Wonderful family trip

It was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for our family to sit and play games and celebrate our granddaughters birthday. Kim was so easy to work with and another successful scallop season at the hatch!

Great fun!

This was our 13th year scalloping in Steinhatchee with our children and grandchildren. This was the first time staying at Fisher’s Cove. It was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and very spacious. We enjoyed our trip very much.

Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a house full of family and everyone was comfortable. Steinhatchee Landings is a wonderful place. Having our boat docked just a 2 minute walk from our house, and being able to see it from the balconies, is very convenient! I would definitely recommend this house and we plan on booking every year!

Awesome Stay!

My whole family had a great stay. The house was amazing. Rhe resort, where the house was located, was very kid friendly. Fisher's went out of their way to set up a Christmas tree, so that it really felt like Christmas. Can't wait to plan our next trip. We would highly recommend this home. Tracie Horn

Terrific mini vacation

We went scalloping one day and kayaking the second day and had the best time! The house was wonderful, it exceeded our expectations. The Landing has many amenities, and the size and decor of the house were perfect. The owner was very helpful with kayaking suggestions of where to put in and take out. The view of the river while sitting out on the porches was so peaceful. It was a great place to spend family time together before the kids and cousins go back to college.

30th birthday celebration

We celebrated our grandsons 30th birthday birthday and our house was central and large enough to accommodate us to eat drink and enjoy family and friends. We rented the pavilion and the grill for the party and it held all 20 of us comfortably. Great location near the pool and also the pavilion. This is our 3rd time staying at Fishers Cove and we will be back. Sheila

Wonderful getaway location!

Our family of 9 spent a delightful 3 days in Fisher’s Cottage. The ad did not do the property justice. The home was clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and included little extras like condiments, coffee filters, cream and sugar and plenty of room for 3 couples with a bonus area for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked, and the personal photos and carefully selected decorator items made us feel like family. Communication with owner was easy and all our questions were quickly answered. The Landings is a friendly community and although the playground, petting zoo, docks are all within east walking distance to the home, we were glad that we brought a wagon to help transport our ice chest and other boating needs to and from the boat. Having a golf cart would have been even better. Thank you Kim and Mark for sharing your beautiful home. If we return to Steinhatchee we will certainly book again with you.

Just Wonderful!

You'll be pleased with Fishers Cove. We have been using vacation rentals for our spring and fall trips for years. We have no complaints about this one. It was roomy and comfortable for 6 adults and 3 children and clean too! Great kitchen stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the porches and porch swing with wonderful views of the river. The amenities in Steinhatchee Landings to include pool, hot tub, games, exercise facility, playground, petting zoo and docks on the river with fish cleaning tables were great. The Landings is quiet and beautiful and we were amazed at how immaculately the grounds are kept. We kept our boat at the Landings dock and with direct access to the gulf flats we fished, fished, fished. It was great! We did very well with the specs which was what we were after. Kim Fisher was great to work with. She did everything possible to ensure we were accommodated comfortably. If you have never experienced the "old Florida" it still exists in very few places. One place it can still be found is in Steinhatchee. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, relax, fish, enjoy nature but still be comfortable Fishers Cove at Steinhatchee Landings is for you! We can't wait to visit again. Thank you Kim for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was great!

Great Family Memories

Thank you To the Fisher family! It was great to have cousins all in one unit. Kim was very responsive to questions via msg, text or app. Love the furnishings and large kitchen layout With lots of cabinets, counters and seating. Kids stayed in bunks and watched dvds and adults had time downstairs. Large porch was great for coralling the toddler. They enjoyed the freedom to walk around on property and explore. Fished from the dock, swam in the pool and played cards. Went scalloping opening day with Captain Mike Baker and Captain Steve Kroll. Great guides, fun day, scallops and swimming on the sand bar. Also enjoyed a day at Keaton Beach. Nice bath house and outdoor shower and covered pavilion for lunch. Very shallow and safe beach area for using masks to look at hermit and horseshoe crabs and little fish. Nice drive. Also shopping is great at Maddie’s Market and ice is cheap at outside ice box, bulk or bag. Skully’s BBQ has great smoked mullet, dip (when they can get it) and bbq. Sweet homemade ice cream is a treat at Steinhatchee Scoops. Also enjoyed pizza from Hungry Howies! Kim has large pots for big batch homemade spaghetti and also for our homemade seafood gumbo. Bring your own file’ powder and everglades seasoning since none found at local stores. Had to go to River Haven Marina for fishing gear and live shrimp for boys dock fishing and for souvenirs! There is a Fanily Dollar/Dollar Tree and Dollar General and I heard there is a plan for a Dollar General family market with expanded produce and frozen meats and other groceries. A great opening week family vacation! Go Gators!!!

Always great

We’ve stayed her a couple of times and it’s always a great time. We have a large family, lots of kids, and grandparents. The house is large enough for people to spread out for naps or all gather together for karaoke in the living room. We’re already booked for next year!

Perfect chill getaway

The house is huge and has everything you may possibly need. Our kids loved visiting the animals and going to the pool. We had a wonderful time and will definitely plan another trip next year.

Great house for families

Really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room. The neighborhood was great for families. My only compliant was that the neighborhood boat ramp was hazardous but thankfully, there were public boat ramps nearby.

We've been coming to Steinhatchee since 2003. Our kids have practically grown up here! The fishing and scalloping are better than anywhere else! We were fortunate to be able to build this house in 2007, and we make the short trip from Gainesville whenever we can!

Fisher's Cove is a beautiful 'home away from home' for vacationing, fishing, scalloping, or just taking a break from everyday life. It's very relaxing and a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends. We love coffee on the front porch overlooking the river. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. And of course, the fishing and scalloping!
