CASA DE ALQUILER VACACIONAL FRENTE AL MAR CERCA DEL VIERNES PUERTO EN LA ISLA DE SAN JUAN

Esta casa de vacaciones en la isla de San Juan se encuentra justo sobre el mar. Las impresionantes vistas del agua preparan el escenario para unas vacaciones clásicas en la isla; de hecho, hay tanta agua azul justo frente a las ventanas que a veces sientes que estás en un barco. ¡Para realzar esa sensación, la decoración tiene un tema náutico distintivo!

Imagínense la serenidad de sentarse en la espaciosa cubierta mirando por encima de las profundas aguas azules, contemplando las amplias vistas de las islas vecinas y los barcos que pasan. La misma vista elemental también se enmarca en las ventanas abovedadas de la sala de estar cuando entra.

El estilo es informal, calentado por los colores intensos en cada habitación, una mezcla de chalet europeo y cabina del noroeste que crean un ambiente muy acogedor. El chalet tiene un plano de planta de tres niveles. Desde el nivel de estacionamiento, baja dos tramos de escaleras para ingresar a la casa en el nivel medio. Las zonas de estar / comedor dan al agua. El salón cuenta con un nuevo televisor y una estufa de pellets para mayor calidez. La cocina está muy bien provista y los cocineros invitados adorarán la gama de propano de estilo comercial. También hay una pequeña mesa de bistró en un extremo de la cocina que es un lugar maravilloso para tomar un café por la mañana o una copa de vino antes de la cena. Dos dormitorios y un baño completo se encuentran en este nivel principal también.

El loft superior funciona como el dormitorio principal porque tiene una sala de estar, escritorio y baño privado. Está abierto a la sala de estar para que la vista del agua se pueda disfrutar a través de las ventanas que se extienden hasta dos pisos en la sala de estar. El nivel inferior se ha actualizado recientemente con pintura nueva y un segundo televisor y un sofá más grandes en esta área. Además, este nivel de la casa ofrece un tercer baño con ducha, cuarto de lavado y una entrada a una cubierta inferior también.

Washington Way Chalet está a solo cinco minutos en coche del puerto de Friday y del embarcadero del ferry, donde encontrarás teatros comunitarios, galerías de arte, muchos restaurantes, tiendas de comestibles y tiendas divertidas.

Beautiful property, clean spacious rooms. comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen, gorgeous views from both decks, the property felt very private and safe, witnessed tons of wildlife; Deer, harbor seal, Orcas, Eagles all from the deck, Close proximity to Friday Harbor just a short drive. We had an amazing time and would recommend this home 100%. We hope to stay again in the future.

View says it all!

The waterfront views are breathtaking! Close to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island has great amenities. Watch your step on stairs leading to house, can be slippery at night & early morning. House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Make ferry reservations as soon as possible.

Nice location, comfortable place, good view. There were two issues that were a little annoying; you couldn't eat on the deck or even sit outside without wasps flying around you. But I heard it is a problem everywhere on the island, so I don't think the owners can do anything about that. The other thing was the heater. When it comes on, it is very loud and occasionally woke us up. But otherwise, the house is well equipped and comfortable.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was spectacular and made the stay in this house worth while! There was a mildew smell in washing machine that permeated throughout basement. We didn't use the it for that reason. This was concerning as well as smell of prior tenants that may have cooked crab as we detected that in the kitchen.

Chilly welcome and a warm stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was excellent. It would have been better to have known that the central heating system wasn't working and we would have to rely on a heating stove that needed to be fed 25lb bags of wood pellets. Lugging these pellets from the garage down a flight of steps would not work well for some vacationers. First, there needs to be something about this in the marketing of the home and 2nd there needs to be a way to have the fuel more readily available. This is not a small issue when it's cold throughout the day. The property managers handled the situation very well when it was brought to their attention, but a longer terms solution needs to be found found.

The central furnace in the home had malfunctioned shortly before your arrival - so sorry about our sudden cold snap! It will be repaired during the winter so that future guests will not have the same "chilly" night that you did. Our apolgies.

Stunning view with great amenities

The view is absolutely stunning, whether you are cooped up indoors or outside on the deck. There are 2 levels of deck, lower is covered and upside has a heat lamp. The property inside is well stocked and kitchen is very well equipped. We had no problems cooking simple meals. Pellet stove, bluetooth enabled sound system and comfy couches made the evening all the more enjoyable. Lowest floor common area is great for our toddler as it is mostly child safe. Location wise it is only 8min drive to Friday harbor and at most 20min drive to most scenic point like Lime Kiln lighthouse, Roche harbor etc... The only downside is the central heating unit is very loud when it turns on, so if you are a light sleeper you may find it not so pleasent. The 2 rooms can be very warm and you can only open or shut the vents (no in between). One last nit picky complaint is one of the two twin bed is very squeaky. Overall very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would love to come back again.

Roomy enough for 5, but not overly large with a great view of the ocean and sunset.

Very nice accomodations...3 bathrooms and laundry was a plus. It could use a kettle to boil water for coffee and tea.

Wonderful treasure! We loved it! Spectacular views of the water and other Islands.

A tri-level cottage best designed for Mom, Dad and up to 4 kids, or 2 couples. Lots of stairs to all the levels. A bathroom on each floor (3), but the lowest level does not have a bed. We contacted the property management company and they provided us with an air mattress for the lowest level. The second level has 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom off the kitchen. Not so much privacy. The upper level is a private loft, over looking the the living area below and spectacular picture window of the Sound. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking (not food), but pans, dishes, food processor, blender, etc. FYI our toaster went out and was replaced the same day by the property management company. Driveway may be difficult as it is steep and narrow. No easy access to the water, but 2 decks (middle level and lower level) with SPECTACULAR views. Around 2.5 miles from Friday Harbor. YES, I would go there again.

Spring Break

The house and location was great!! We had 4 adults and two teenage boys and the place was perfect! The teens played video games, watched TV, and had their own deck with great views in the bonus room downstairs. And the adults had a sweeping views with comfortable patio furniture and one propane heater for use on the main floor. We saw lots of marine life and eagles daily, cooked our own meals, and took daily excursions exploring the island. The house served the 6 of us perfectly!

Great Girlfriend Getaway

Just the right amount of room/space for us three girlfriends. We absolutely LOVED the view and the quiet. It was so easy to get everywhere on the island, and we enjoyed several restaurants in Friday Harbor. We loved all having our own bathrooms, even though we never could get the shower to work in the main floor bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, though a bit disorganized. But overall, we would most certainly consider reserving this property for another girlfriend getaway!

This property has a beautiful view north to Orcas and Shaw islands, and it was very close to Friday Harbor and the ferries. We hope to stay here again!

Great stay at a great location near Friday Harbor

The house was in great condition. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are very clean. The water pressure is a little low as others have mentioned, but it's not a problem as long as you don't have two people shower at the same time. We saw harbor seals and orcas from the deck of the house. Amazing! We will definitely stay here again if we return to San Juan Island.

Kitchen appliances (dishwasher was broken, stove was very worn), tablewear was dated and a number of pieces were either broken or close to it. Outdoor furnishings were dated, dirty and very uncomfortable. Linens were clean, pillows were pancakes. Views from property were great, however, overall we were disappointed with this property. Not at all worth the cost per night.

Great property with amazing views just wrong time of year

We planned a week away over a month in advance, rained everyday which stifled our plans, however the property was nice and was as listed. Definitely would go back earlier in year and after Covid. Did not have contact with property manager, no needs.

Seals & bald eagles 50yds from us! Last day a whale! Prime location! Thanks for the memories!
