Office/Third Bedroom: The office is listed as a third bedroom because of the queen-size bed, but it is attached to the master bedroom, has a door that separates them, and also has a balcony.
On-Site Assistance: I live on the same five-acre property where the Farmhouse is located. If there’s an issue, we are close by to fix it! Other than the shared driveway, the houses are on opposite sides of the property. This has been a non-issue.

I’ve lived in this area for nearly 20yrs. It’s a beautiful place to live. Close to mountains and the beaches. I am a local elementary school teacher and my husband is an agronomist. Our two kids keep us busy with sports and activities. We have three large dogs, a cat (who is king of the castle), and a few chickens. We spend most our time playing outside, kids sports, and going on family adventures. Being a host is a great opportunity to give others a glimpse of the country lifestyle and help them rest, relax, and rejuvenate.

This is truly a beautiful area. You can see Mt Baker and the Canadian Rockies from the front deck. The farmland is icing on the cake. It’s peaceful and quiet yet close to many things. If you like a good sunrise and sunset the covered upper deck will be your favorite spot.

The property is well taken care of and is large enough to comfortably host a small group or family. It has a country charm yet is close to Lynden, Ferndale, and Bellingham. And the views are memorable.
