Communication with the host was fantastic before, during and after my stay. She was very welcoming and became a friend, my first new friend in the city! The private entry walk out basement was perfectly sized with its own bathroom and well equipped kitchen! Parking was great. The area is close to shopping, restaurants and pretty much anything you need but felt private and quiet. Even during the numerous, expected thunderstorms in Colorado my very nervous Dogs were calm and relaxed and slept through them. I told the host I will always consider it my first home in Colorado! I would absolutely stay here again!!

Property was clean. Quiet neighborhood. Unit was extremely hot. The A/C was not turned on until our last night despite owner saying it was on. There was only 1 fan and 3 out 4 buttons did not work. Couch was extremely uncomfortable and we had to borrow an air mattress and another fan from a local friend. Yard looked like it had not been mowed in a very, very long time. As far as a place to stay it was a bit of a disappointment.

Private cozy stay

This was one of our favorite stays. The unit is spacious and cozy and fully equipped for a long stay. We were there a week. Great backyard for our pups and kind host. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay here! Just perfect size for my husband and I and later, for my son and I, with our dog. Our hosts were so so gracious and added personal touches throughout our stay. The apartment was clean, cozy, simple, nicely decorated, has a private entrance and fenced in back yard for the dog, close to walking trails and parks. I did lots of cooking here in the full kitchen. I would tent this VRBO again. Thank you to our hosts for helping us feel at home!

Perfect

This property is perfect for a longer stay. We stayed for 7 nights and had to work for 3 days. The space was great, the host was kind and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Summer stay

Great little 1 bedroom space. Everything we needed for our trip. Fenced in yard allowed our doggos to have some space to burn off energy and relieve themselves.Kitchen with all needed appliances to include coffee maker and full sized fridge.

Pleasant Stay in the Springs

We enjoyed having a spacious place to come back to every evening and unwind. We appreciated the very comfortable bed and the Keurig coffee maker and ample supply of coffee. We also liked that there was an iron and a hair dryer. Marta was very kind and accommodating.

Pikes peak stay

The location was in a nice neighborhood. Host was very friendly. Checking to see if we needed anything. Left pamphlets of entertainment in area. We are talking about another trip and this would be our first option if available

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean and the atmosphere was bright and very comfortable. Marta, our host, was very friendly and responsive to any question or need that we might have had. She made us feel extremely welcome and cared for. Having a kitchen greatly served our purposes, and helped us to save on meals. I think the rental provided a good value for us. If we come back to Colorado Springs, Marta’s place will be first on our list to seek availability.

Host was responsive to messages. I had an issue with the lock box that was brought to their attention and wasn't fixed. Although my stay was very short, so maybe there wasnt enough time to fix the battery issue. This is a basement apartment so you can hear the host family as mentioned in the listing. However at times it was LOUD, light fixtures and mirror on the wall would shake. Maybe they don't realize how much the sound travels. The area was clean and well lit outside at night for my dogs and for safety walking, as the pathway is on a hill. I appreciated being able to park in the driveway. Overall a decent place to stay, as I was in a pinch last minute with my two dogs.

Thank you Samantha, for bringing the lockbox issue to our attention. Luckily, it didn’t impact your stay and you were able to get in and out of the place without issues. It was determined that the lockbox may experience issues in freezing cold low temps, when present for extended period of time. Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather temperatures. However, we implemented an alternative, so thanks to you, future guests won’t have to experience the lockbox problems - thank you again for notifying us about it. Thank you for recognizing that the family lives upstairs. You are correct, we do not realize how loud it gets when we have guests during one day of the holidays break. Since we strive to make our guests’ stay the best one yet, it would have been helpful that you reached out and let us know it was bothersome, so we could have the opportunity fix it. Luckily, by dinner time everyone was gone, so we all enjoyed the quiet evening and sleep soundly at night. We will definitely keep it in mind for future guests - fabulous suggestion. It was a pleasure to host you and your furry babies. Thank you again for the opportunity and we look forward having you again soon!

I never received instructions on how to access the property prior to check in and the host was slow to respond so I wasn’t able to access the property at my designated time. It was almost two hours later than check in time when I was able to access the property.I also didn’t like that there was no light on the walkway with stairs. My mom almost fell. I felt the description of the property was slightly misleading. There are no accessible washer and dryer, there’s a lady who does the laundry. I’m uncomfortable with strangers doing my laundry. The photos of the outside are not up to date. The Welcome sign was broken and hanging from a string, there was trash near the front gate and squirrels were eating the trash when I got there. The lawn was overgrown and grasshoppers and weeds were all over the sidewalk

Hi Maria, sorry the stay didn't meet your standards. We are addressing an issue of the delayed checkin instructions - those are supposed to be automatic. Thus, we are in process of resolving the reason behind the system crush. There is a light on the side to help guests access the property, however, it seems as the light bulb was out. Since we are on the site, had this been communicated right away, it would have been fixed in no time. Same applies to the trash - we were not aware of those left behind - we are definitely addressing this issue with our cleaning crew. Thank you for letting us know. In the future, if you would please address the issues as they occur, that gives everyone a chance to fix them, make the stay best one yet and meet everyone's' standards. We appreciate your feedback and thank you again for staying with us!
