Camine o monte en bicicleta por 12 millas en la playa o monte su bicicleta a lo largo de 55 millas de senderos verdes y tierra adentro.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Ocean Dunes and have done so since our first visit 11 years ago. This was our second year in unit 321. It changed owners between our two visits and the new owner had new furniture and upgraded the sofa to a sleeper-sofa. We also met the owner while at the pool and had a great conversation. The staff at VTHHI is also amazing to deal with and assists with anything we need.

Dirty and Run Down

The good - our condo was ready two hours early. The bad - we spent those two hours cleaning. The unit smelled liked mold and mildew the minute you walked in. A gallon of bleach and a bottle of mildew remover later it was livable….there was black mold all over the vents on all three a/c units. We took those apart to clean and saw the coils/fins/filters were wholly covered with enough lint and dirt to render air circulation extremely inefficient, much less putting said dirt in the air. You can tell preventative maintenance is NEVER done. Walls are more than scuffed. Remotes don’t have working batteries. Sinks are clogged. We called we were told the maintenance man was off sick. No backup maintenance for a company who manages so many units?!! The unit floors were filthy too. Sock bottoms were black within 5 minutes. No way I was walking barefoot. The management company advised they don’t clean items the owner provides, so enjoy the bathroom rugs full of hair or the bed quilt with blood stains- they aren’t washed between guests. Only sheets and towels are switched out. Living room furniture and rug was filthy, as well. Do you need extra bedding, it’s on the dirty floor in the closet. Maybe use a dresser drawer to store extra linens. We love Ocean Dunes and were backed into this unit at the last minute due to the sale of our usual location. Don’t rent through Vacation Time of Hilton Head. Their units are not clean and not well kept.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Inside property was fine. Balcony was a mess. Sliding glass door windows were so dirty you could not see out of them. Washed one with soap and water three times so that we could see the beautiful view. Floor was littered with leaves and debris. All of this was obviously old and could not have been from the storm. Even if it should have been cleaned before checking. Reported to rental office with pictures so hopefully will be addressed with cleaning staff. Nice end unit. Perfect for two couples.

Great ocean front condo with easy beach access

Reviewer Comments: We have now stayed in 5 different condos at Ocean Dunes due to the way beach access. This condo is nice, it is well equipped and furnished. They're are some areas where it could be improved for the cost. Overall it works well for our family with 2 small kids. We found that the quantity of linens provided has decreased since the last time we stayed, there were 2 bath wash cloths and 1 kitchen towel for 4 people on a 10 day stay. Or request for more linens was quickly accommodated by VTHI. Check in and check out was simple. I am completely annoyed by using a physical key to enter the unit and we were only provided 1 key. Why not upgrade to keyless entry?? But that's my only gripe, everything else was great.

Great Little Vacation

We loved the property! The kitchen was nice and furnished! The ocean view was spectacular! The beach was close, clean, and not crowded! The pool was nice! We have nothing negative to say except that the toilet in the master bathroom needed a new kit. I reported it to the property managers and they said they would take care of it. Highly recommend!

Beachfront Condo with views

The place and furnature Needs to be cleaned up . Remove the storage cabinets from the small balcony and upgrade the patio furnature. Otherwise an excellent location on the island with great ocean/beach views at a reasonable price.

Another Great HHI Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the "girls annual get-a-way" EXCEPT this time we invited the men (our spouses) to join. We felt it was due time to let them join in the fun we have on an annual basis. We absolutely love the location (Ocean Dunes Villa) since it gives us the beautiful beach view from the balcony. Now the guys can see why we love going to HHI every year. They joined in the miles of bike riding we do - on the beach all the way to the end of the "foot" to see the light house and then all around Coligne Plaze (shopping) and surrounding streets. We rented a golf cart and drove to The Palmetto Sunrise Cafe, so mom (84) could enjoy the outdoor fun as well. We stayed at this exact condo last year. It looked the same, but we could see that it has had some wear and tear on it - but it was enjoyable non-the-less. The cleaning was not super upon our entry - found dirty towels in a dresser drawer, coffee grains in the coffee pot, but this was the first time it's not been perfect. Oh, and one of the TV remotes did not have batteries, just little incidentals that we could remedy ourself. BUT, would definitely come back and stay here again. Recommend this unit - it has a great view of the beach. Great location.

The pool was heated

This was a nice place for a quick getaway. The beach access was great. The unit could have been cleaner. The neighbors were friendly.

Another Wonderful Week in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For many years we've been staying, almost exclusively, with villas managed by Vacation Time Hilton Head, and for good reason. We invariably have a wonderful experience. Our recent stay was no exception. This villa, Ocean Dunes 321, is one of the best we have stayed in, and I wish I could personally thank the owners. The owner's attention to detail was amazing. From the hooks to hold the curtains open, the generously provided cookware and dinnerware, remote controlled fans and lights, comfortable beds and furniture, and overall decor, it was all we could ask for. The staff at VTHHI are simply the best. Several have become good friends over the years and we are always happy to see and talk to them. It's almost like a reunion each time we arrive, with recommendations for places to get our favorite foods and activities around the area. The views from Ocean Dunes and Seaside Villas are wonderful. You can't go wrong with these folks. Best value on the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! We enjoyed being in the Forest Beach area of HHI! Our unit was nice and clean, other than some stains on the furniture in the living room area and dining table chairs. Noise levels were high outside of our unit due to the fact we were by the stairs. The view of the ocean was amazing and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Bathrooms have recently been renovated which was a plus. Our biggest complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom. It was super hard and not comfortable at all. Sadly, we did not get as much rest as we would have liked. Other than this issue, we would stay in this unit again. The property management and owner were easy to deal with in renting this unit.
