¡Esta casa de estilo mediterráneo diseñada a medida es nada menos que exquisita! Ubicado en la muy deseable Key Colony Beach, es el lugar perfecto para un retiro VIP. Arriba, los huéspedes encontrarán una segunda gran suite principal con su propio baño privado y balcón al aire libre. Este baño principal cuenta con tocadores para él y para ella, una bañera grande, ducha de pie y acceso al balcón. La espaciosa suite principal también cuenta con una cómoda área de descanso, televisor de alta definición de 50 ", escritorio y una puerta separada a la terraza al aire libre en la parte trasera de la casa con vista al agua. Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful property…plenty of room and amenities in an exquisite location…the pool area and sunsets were fantastic. The property is in need of some minor maintenance fixes and updates but it is stunning in design and location. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return again sometime soon.

Breathtaking View and Home

We had the hardest time leaving this beautiful place, and we will be back for sure. We fished the dock for hours, and enjoyed unbelievable sunsets every night. This house accommodated 8 people comfortably, and we can’t wait to come back!

Family get away

I have rented properties on Key Colony Beach for more than 25 years and this is truly the best I've stayed at. The property is amazing. It looks as good in person as it does in the photos. Very relaxing stay. The outdoor grill and refrigerator are fantastic. The hot tub can really get hot if you want it to unlike other rentals I've stayed at. The property management company checked in to see if everything was working as it should be during my stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Dock pole is shattered at base. Ice maker in refrig not working, drain clogged in sink of downstairs bedroom, exhaust fan in master bath making noise. Otherwise, very enjoyable stay.

The Perfect Get-Away

This may have been the perfect vacation with dear friends. The house was everything we expected and is a destination in and of itself. We didn’t want to stay in Key West but it was close enough for two day trips including an AMAZING and magical boat charter to Dry Tortugas and snorkeling spots with Eric of Laid Back Key West (highly recommended). Key Colony had everything we needed with fishing tackle stores, bike rentals, gas, grocery stores, ice cream shops and so much more all within 5-6 miles max. We fell in LOVE with Conch Custard - oh my word, so good. The house was fully equipped with what we needed. In the kitchen, it had a brew coffee pot plus an electric tea kettle that we used to keep coffee warm while we brewed a second pot as we are heavy coffee drinkers. I don’t remember being short of any other kitchen needs. Two blenders for smoothies and drinks were also useful. The house had several spices in the pull-out spice door which were nice for cooking. The gas stove was great! The outdoor kitchen was located immediately outside the kitchen door, which was so convenient. We wanted to do a Low Country Boil (Frogmore Stew) but the house didn’t have a large enough pot (20-quart or more) and we couldn’t find one to buy. THAT would be a good thing for the owners to add to the kitchen. We ended up finding a recipe to make them in foil packets on the grill instead and it was absolutely delicious. Beautiful home and location.

Everything from booking to checking in to checking out went smoothly. There was plenty of room for our crew of 9 adults and a 10 month old. The home was clean and well equipped with everything you need. We rented a boat for the week that stayed at the dock. Perfect spot. Pool and hottub were prefect for the day and evening. The sunset was spectacular every evening. We have been coming to Marathon every year for the past 8 yrs. This was our first time staying in Key Colony.We loved it. Yes, they do have a 25 mph speed limit that they do enforce. We found ourselves going way under as we were taking in the sites of the beautiful homes in this area. Our last few days there we found Sparkys and Havanah Jack's. They are both right there in the community and you never have to get out on the main rd. Food was spectacular and an awesome happy hour. We will be back.

Wonderful Stay

House is wonderful, location is perfect. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we will certainly return. Only thing is having your own boat tied up to the dock can be stressful. The wakes from other speeding boats makes for a rough docking. But overall the house is beautiful as well as the neighborhood.

Visit to Paradise

This home and it’s location I. Marathon we’re truly like being in paradise for a week. The pool was magnificent and the rooms were richly appointed! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this home to others!

Marathon Family Fun

The property is spacious, clean, and room for time to yourself. It could use a little TLC, just because it is a little older home. The pool and hot tub were nice, but the pool needs some work, as in tiles are falling off. It was great to have the dock and being right on the open water. The outdoor covered area was nice especially you can be out of the sun and watch the kids while they are in the pool. Having the two washers and dryers was great for getting laundry done. The ice maker was very convent. The kitchen is big. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable beds. The place was very accommodating for a group of nine.

Great house / Great Location

We rented a boat for the entire week and kept it at the dock. The dock was great and the dock whips crucial as there are heavy wakes from boats passing constantly. Super quick access to the Gulf or Atlantic for fishing. The house sound system was broken and the pool needs some upkeep. The hotel ice machine in the garage was a great asset for fishing and drinking. Overall great place, just needs some upkeep.

Memorable Vacation

Our family visited for one week in March the temperature and weather was great the entire time. I definitely recommend taking advantage of renting a boat and using the dock if you have the opportunity. The kitchen was fabulous and we enjoyed making food at the house dinner and it was well appointed.

Marathon Fl Family Vacation

The house and property are excellent. Very nice house that has a lot items not included in other houses, been coming down for last 20 years. Caught fish from dock and Beautiful sunset view. Here are my only complaints. 1) House was advertised as included bicycles which were onsite but locked. House was advertised as included bikes but were told when we arrived that we could not use them and would have rent them. Since this was last minute information, no bikes were available first week. Had I know they were not available, I would have brought me own. 2) Key Colony has a lot rules example no cars parked on road infront of house, no boats parked in yard and speed limits of 25mph is religious enforced. 3) House is listed as having a boat dock that according to the agent, you can leave your boat at. Boat dock is in open water area subject to large boat waves. All other boats in this area are on lift ( out of water ). Only way a boat can stay in the water at the is you monitor it 24/7

Keys Retreat- June 2020

The house is awesome. The location for offshore fishing is perfect. A short run to reef fishing and to blue water. We had as much fun fishing off the dock as we did in the boat. Sunsets were amazing.

Paradise in the Keys!

This house by far exceeded all of our expectations! The property cannot be beat! Not only is the inside of the house lovely, the outside area accommodates everyone! You can sit in the sun, shade, fish, swim, eat and drink with several seating areas to choose from , read, play games, relax, take a nap if you dare miss one minute of your time there! We have been fortunate enough to stay in this house 4 different times with our extended family. We started our annual family trip to the keys 12 years ago and have stayed at several rental homes- this is the family favorite! The entire family enjoys this gem- ages 8-80! We cannot wait to book next year! Thank you for keeping this property top notch!

Great mulit family keys vacation home!

We had 3 families all with children and never felt cramped. The pool and spa was a lot of fun, the view of the ocean was amazing. The house was well stocked and with almost anything you could want. There were 2 washer dyers which was great for multifamily and a huge ice machine that was awesome to have access to. The theater room was fun for the kids to watch movies in. The only negative was the AV system did not work well. We did have a boat and the dock was easy to use and the location was great to get the boat out to a couple very nice snorkeling reefs or out into the fishing areas. However, we were amazed how fantastic the fishing from the dock. The kids caught fish no stop for the whole week and everything from tarpon, barracuda, a few snapper species, other fun reef fish and a couple of grouper. There is no doubt I would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants a nice vacation house.

Absolutely wonderful property

We had a family reunion involving 9 people and stayed at the property at 295 14th street on Marathon Key and had an unbelievable time. The house is palatial with roomy bedrooms for everyone, many with their own bathrooms and private balconies. The property is designed for vacationers with all sorts of different seating areas both inside and outside for enjoying meals or simply to relax in. It is located on the water and has its own dock which we made use of to fish, snorkel and to tie up a pontoon boat we rented for a few days to take us to diving sites off the coast and to different restaurants that had boat access. The location of Marathon Key is between Key Largo and Key West; we took several day trips to Key West to enjoy the sites up there. The house is fully equipped, with bicycles, home supplies such as laundry detergent for the two washer/dryer units, a screening room - a dedicated room with a large mounted TV display, and microwaves and ovens for meals. Being a large group, we would all come together or break up into separate groups and made use of all areas of the house both inside and outside. Everybody had a wonderful time, probably the best and most comfortable places we have all stayed at. All types of stores were nearby and there are a lot of things to see and do. It's hard to write specific details of our visit because we did so much and the property and surroundings have so much to offer. More than just renting the property, I'd like to buy it and live there if I could only afford the multi-million price I assume the property is valued at! We would love to return although we do like picking other places to get to know. But, I feel very strongly about giving a hint of our wonderful experience and recommending most highly this location and house for anyone else who might be interested - you will absolutely not be disappointed!

What a fantastic home!!!! Photos do not show how truly wonderful this home is. Our party consisted of 9 adults and we definitely had room for all. I will say, previous reviews that said the neighbors complained.....those travelers must have been extremely loud late at night. we were out on the patio every night or on the dock fishing and never had a call about neighbors complaining, and we can be a loud group. Leslie and the entire staff of American Caribbean were so helpful, on Tuesday we noticed that the hot tub was cloudy we called Leslie and she returned our call within 5 minutes, the pool man (Tom) was there within 15 minutes after our call. That's service!!! We are planning yet another trip to Key Colony and hope to rent this home again, if it's not available we will be sticking with any home American Caribbean rents....they are fantastic. Again, this home is worth every penny from the cleanliness to the most amazing sun sets....if you are planning a trip consider this home....fantastic!!!!!

Perfect!

Myself, my husband and 4 other couples stayed here this last week. It is a beautiful home with every amenity you can think of. The outdoor area (which is the most important) is great. A long concrete dock with lights (you can watch all the sea life after dark-its amazing), tons of outdoor furniture, a gazebo, an outdoor sink, countertop, grill area, gorgeous tropical landscaping, and couple Chameleons (if you can see them, they can be hard to spot). The pool is deep and plenty large enough to lay out on floaties. It is also partially shaded for those of you who do not like the sun. The inside of the home is gorgeous and beautifully furnished. Lots and lots and lots of dishes, storage containers, coffee pots, blender, cutting boards, silverware and knives. It also has a commercial ice machine....(if my husband was wondering if we needed one, he isn't wondering any longer) very handy to have around. It also has separate media room that everyone loved, lots of comfy blankets and recliners and a big flat screen TV. This home was plenty large enough for the 10 of us and has lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to occupy in a beautiful neighborhood. There is no one out and about after 9PM...very quiet area. The neighbors to this property are "home" and not super friendly. They did complain about us right after we arrived. It was 6PM (serious) and we were visiting around the pool and had the radio on (the rental company called to let me know and was very nice) we ended up moving into the covered area of the patio in the evenings for the rest of our visit and we didn't get any more complaints. If your a rowdy group, I do not recommend...:) This is a beautiful home with everything you could possibly ask for at a reasonable price...I would stay here again and again and again...

Villa del Mare was even nicer than the internet listing promised. The house and grounds are beautiful and the setting is spectacular-we enjoyed the sunset during happy hour every night right from our private patio. The kitchen is a cook’s dream. The children went from swimming in the pool to fishing on the dock to watching TV in the media room when they were too exhausted to do more. The bikes for our use were the perfect finishing touch. Nothing has been missed to make Villa del Mare the perfect vacation home.

It was a wonderful family vacation and we would definitely rent this house again.

This house was perfect for a family reunion, allowing the whole family to come together but with ample space for individual families to have some privacy and room to spread out. The kitchen was really well furnished and we were able to cook and entertain with ease and efficiency. The views are amazingly beautiful, the location is serene and made a perfect getaway for us. The kids loved the pool and were happily fished off the dock. It was a wonderful family vacation and we would definitely rent this house again.

Nicest home we've stayed in

This is by far the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. It was above and beyond what we had hoped for. There is nothing you could possibly need while staying here because the house has it all! The home offers incredible, open water views from almost every room of the house. I don't think there are any vacation rental homes in the Keys that can compare to this. We are so thrilled that the owners are renting. A home like this is very hard to come by in the Keys for a vacation rental. We will be back again and again!
