Located on “restaurant street” - many restaurants to choose! One block away is Target and another direction is my favorite Dunkin Donuts and of course - Starbucks! Walking distance to Time Square, Rockfeller Center, Nintendo Store and famous Ichiran Ramen! Not sure about subway since we traveled by Uber. Communication is extremely responsive and efficient. Some toilet papers and towels are provided. No K cup coffee machine, but coffee maker is available. I love Brita water filter is available! Bed and pillows are comfortable as well (very important to me). Hot water does take longer, but still working fine. Since location is convenient, of course comes with the noise. The noise does stay until 2 AM, sometimes longer. However, if you don’t mind the noise/the smell of cooking downstair/the weed smoking from the neighbors, this is a very great location! I will still choose this place if I ever visit NY again.

Location was excellent. You can walk to many of the prime spots in and around midtown.The home itself is in great condition and was a comfortable experience overall. Note that you have to climb up three flights of stairs.

Apartment location is good - between center park and all empire state building. 10 minutes away from Times square.apartment nice, but dusty.the building is pretty old and it does not have elevator. so if you are traveling with infants or small children, prepare to move stroller by yourself.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a great central Hell’s Kitchen location. Victoria was very helpful and responsive and everything went super smoothly. Will be returning and recommend to others.

Great communication with property manager. Easy to get to shows on broadway and 42nd St subway stop was only a few blocks away. Apartment was in great condition and well maintained. A/C worked great as it was very hot during our stay. It is a third floor walk up so noting that for anyone that may have issues with a few flights of stairs. I would happily rent this property again for future stays in the city.

Great location

Check in instructions were easy to follow. The location and cleanliness was exactly as advertised. However, the water pressure and hot water did not meet expectations. It took over 5 mins for the hot water to start flowing. In addition, there was trash in the lobby which we could smell in our bathroom (third floor). We notified the owner regarding the trash issue and it was removed quickly. However, I could still smell the trash when walking up to my room. They need to keep the trash outside the building or move the location.

Never again!

Unfortunately, our experience with this rental was very disappointing. We arrived at this rental in NYC late at night only to discover there was no power in the unit—no lights, no AC, nothing. Despite repeatedly contacting the host, she kept saying, “give me a few more minutes,” but nothing was ever resolved. She did not offer any alternative accommodation or help us find another place to stay. We were left stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to go in an unfamiliar city.The host stopped responding and never followed up or checked in, nor any guidance for an alternative solution. She also initially refused to issue a refund, forcing us to go through VRBO customer service just to get basic support. This was one of the most stressful and unacceptable travel experiences we’ve had. We ended up having to book a last-minute hotel. Vrbo was able to accommodate us - since there was no communication from the host to refund us. After having to dispute the charge on my credit card, the host finally had no other option than to refund us 3 weeks later . Do not trust this host—they are unprofessional , unreliable , unhelpful, and left us in a dangerous situation.Do yourself a favor and avoid this listing at all costs

We had the best time here in this beautiful apartment! The location was so perfect. Only 2 blocks from timesquare! And the rooftop had magical views.

Location on map is not correct

The description of the property says Hell’s Kitchen but the marker on the map is in midtown at 24th Street. The actual location is 24 blocks north-east in a much worse neighborhood. We were disappointed in the location when we showed up. We even had dinner reservations set in the neighbor where it is marked on the map.

NOT in The Flatiron District

VRBO advertises this apartment as in the flat iron district. It is actually 22 blocks north of the flat iron district so not even close! The apartment, title, or name, states “Hells kitchen”, which is accurate. Because you’re not given an address until three days before check-in, we assumed the apartment would be located on the border of hell’s kitchen and the flat iron district. However, It is only a few blocks away from Times Square, so definitely not the area we wanted to be in.The check-in process was a bit bumpy as the lockbox code provided via text that morning did not work. The management was responsive, however, and gave us the accurate code. There is also a combination lock on an iron gate, which was never mentioned. We were unable to exit the apartment early in the morning until we spoke to management who gave us the code.The apartment itself has been nicely renovated. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the exposed brick is beautiful. It also has a lot of storage which was nice and unexpected.We were looking forward to using the outdoor space but instructions on how to access it was not provided until asked, and when we did go up to the rooftop, the view was beautiful, but we were surrounded by trash and empty beer bottles.The apartment is in desperate need of paint, but expected in a short term rental, and the dressers were mostly unusable because the drawers were broken and or full of linens. Overall a good stay if you want to be in this area.

Great location and well appointed apartment

Really excellent location and a roomy, well appointed apartment, ideal for a week's stay in NYC. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the flexibility of a sofa bed were great. Kitchen was adequately equipped. It was very cold in NYC that week (even snowed), but the apartment was warm although we did have some challenges getting hot water from the vanities (the showers were fine). Overall a grat place to stay and we would recommend it.

Loved Restaurant Row

The place was awesome!! It was the perfect location and felt very safe! We were a 6 min walk to time square which made a lot of things easier and we were able to get around town faster. Being on Restaurant Row was pretty cool and the amount of food options were amazing!! The only downfall to our stay was the couch in the photos didn’t match the couch that we had. Other than that everything was great and we would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!! The communication was on point with the property manager!!
